My application has been with the UKVI sheffield office for 11 working days now (even with the so called priority) and no decision mail. :-(
Is this normal/common? The wait is not easy at all and my start date next week ....
Anyone in the same situation?

I think priority is the new standard application now..not as quick as i thought when it was introduced.

You will probably hear from them before the end of next week.

I am a graduate of Applied Geology(B.Tech) with over Six years core HR experience. Finished with a 2.2 hence i know i can't get direct admission into MSC HR. I have 3 International HR certification, SHRM-CP, PHRi and CHRP (BC & Yukon). Last is certified by HR body in BC & Yukon Canada.

Why not give masters a try considering your work experience and other qualifications you have? Apply for masters and follow it up with letter to the school outlining your work experience in the field and other qualifications you have acquired.

Going for PG is a bit of a step-down.

Evening gurus in the house please I need urgent and immediate help, my fiancé appointment for Uk standard visitors visa is tomorrow in Abuja for thumbprinting and the rest. She needs a document which I sent her This morning via DHL thinking it will get to Abuja this night or tomorrow morning. I was tracking the stuff online and I got this that there was change of service or so and that the feasible time of delivering the document is Wednesday.
She has her interview 11am tomorrow. Document will reach her Wednesday due to delay from the courier DHL.@justwise @others

I have confirmed from him, I heard its drug related though he wasn't the one but his friend cos nothing was found on him but the friend was caught red handed. the friend confessed to the police that my cousin knows nothing about it still the police insisted and that's how it led to him been convicted of the offence. please for those that knows about Spainish law,kindly let me me know if there is a way for him to be released before completion of the three yrs .

Like many have said here there is nothing you can do about it since lawyer was involved and he still went to jail.

Just pray that his good behavior in prison earns him early release.

please can the lawyers to welcome him do anything for him in poe, and can he declear for asylum if he starts having issues with the Poe immigration, the agent is stil insisting that many have traveled tru this, that the immigration wil now see u as coming from Norway that he is going to give us a residence permit of Norway to attach as evidence. Yes, you can apply without council tax because some people live in a shared house and their rent include all other bill. When I applied for my wife spouse visa, I only use, tenancy agreement, letter from the landlord and house inspection certificate or letter. I only used council tax receipts now because I applied for her spouse visa extension.

Good morning house. On the list of documents on Cic website,there is flight booking as one of the required documents. Are we using a confirmed flight booking or is it an ordinary flight reservation? Also is that required for online applications? Cc @justwise and other gurus

Use flight reservation , i think it will be needed in both online and paper application though i'm surprised that flight booking is a requirement

Has anybody successfully applied for spouse visa without council tax receipt included but added every other utility bills?

A friend asked me this question yesterday but I'm not sure if its possible

Yes I am high on life and godly living and workaholism that are neither artificially or drug induced. It’s simply a hypothetical analysis and use of logic to interpret the situation at hand. People don’t forge bank statements and come here and ask simple questions as the asker asked in innocence on a public forum on how to respond to an administrative letter . Caught in the act, such people cower away or dig deep underground conferring with their co-conspirators.
