jnyuwa02: Even good agents stay away from issuing fake statements when they know is Canadian embassy you are submitting it to. They freely issue fake bank statements when it has to do with USA embassy because USA embassy doesn't verify anything. Your interview happens within 3 minutes, you know your fate within 3 minutes of interview with the USA embassy. The 4, 5 months and up to a year that your application is pending with the Canadian embassy, what do you think they are doing? Sleeping? The truth is that nobody knows the true details of how they go about verifying SOA, but the truth is that they do. If the way is divulged, trust Nigerians, they will find a way to circumvent it. What I have heard is that the Canadian embassy enjoys a special privilege with the Nigerian Banks and there is a special office dedicated to authenticating bank statements submitted to it. You cannot collude with a bank official to circumvent this department. If you have genuine money with a bank and not looking to falsify stuff, whether the embassy verifies or does not do so, should be the least of your concerns.
Note: schools rarely verify SOA submitted to them as this is the work of an embassy official in the host country before a visa is issued. In fact I don't know of any Canadian school that requests SOA. Schools lack the modalities and capacities for verification. This is the work of an embassy. They do. |

Dericinh: good day everyone ....this should be my first time posting here...although I have been following this page for awhile now....... please I need advice and information/lecture ... I intend relocating to the UK towards pursuing my football career ..I haven't been there before and this will be my first time traveling ...I currently have no one over there and intend staying for years.....but I have a sponsor here in Nigeria who intends catering for my expenses .....I would love to know what type of visa I should apply for and the rest if it?? please anyone with good knowledge about it... There is no such visa and it doesn't work that way, if you are a talented footballer a club in the UK will invite you for a trial if successful you will be given a contract, this is only if you have played with national team for sometime. Or you are younger than 15 or so then an academy can take you up for trial. Though be careful because there are more scammers online who will promise you all these but you will never go close to any airport let a lone traveling to any country. |

Does GT bank issue visa bank card for B2 or B1/B2 visa applicants? Maybe you are mixing up visa bank card with B2 or B1/B2 visa |

deolutolu: Hello guys. I've been following this thread for a while now. I've done my research, cos I know how gurus on this thread frown at ignorant Uk prospective students. I know or maybe read that application fee is £335. I want to know the equivalence of this in naira. Use oanda.com to convert that because British embassy uses that website for £-naira exchange rate |

sutelk: Hello house, I'm putting things in place to apply for a Tier 2 visa. as part of the English language proficiency requirements, I applied for a statement of comparability and English language assessment from UKNARIC. But there has been too much back and forth with my UKNARIC application. Though I have submitted the extra documents required I need a plan B. The problem is the next available date for IELTS in and around my area is too far (may). My questions are; is there any other English language assessment exam besides IELTS that is accepted by the UK visa authorities? Or is there any legal means of booking for IELTS after bookings for a particular month are closed, even if it costs extra? Thsnks You may have to look outside your area probably other states closer to you. |

mzapplication: Thanks. I have since confirmed that the money has gone into the UK coffers for good.
I do agree with the point above. I came to Nairaland because of the wealth of information here.
Whilst I take full responsibility, and do not blame the great folks here (@justwize, LexusG and everyone that contributed) in any way, it will be good is there is a caveat on the cover page saying what this thread is for exactly.
I didn't want to raise/mention this last week cause I was still reeling from the shocker and was somewhat emotional. Amean, that's like a plot of land!!! You have a point there, next part of this thread will be more clearer. |

All I could see is GWF number and Payment reference number is: 9024031757. I find It on the website when I logged in just now.
Is the Payment reference number same as IHS number? Not at al |
Travel › Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by justwise(mod): 2:28pm On Feb 28, 2018 |
Donphyno101: @justwise,
IHS isn't compulsory for visitor VISA, check on thr screen short. Yes IHS is never for visiting visa but your question was not clear, you were asking about your IHS number which implies that you are applying for immigration visa. You need to be sure that you are using the right form because im not sure why they are asking you about IHS number |

I can't have an intelligent convo with someone that's not on my IQ level, I'm way faster than all of you, if all you do is repeat exactly what I said a few pages back. Intelligent convos don't wear people out, but I'm quite worn out from trying to make you understand Basic English, as if na pikin I dey teach!
P.S: If I tell my hubby to zip it, he will straighten up immediately, cos he knows I don't snap easily. And if he tells me to leave , I will happily pack and go; with my qualifications I can live anywhere in the world. But he is a lovely man. You can join us for tea during the summer if you want! If not for ignorance of our people what is in UK? That miserable God forsaken place, with cold that can freeze lungs. You are lucky many Nigerians are not exposed if not they will know that where they live is much more habitable than the UK. This forum seems to attract low lifers for some reason, go to a more intellectual forum and try to give this impression that you've given I aaaure you that you won't like their response
Those who have experienced life are living here with valid UK visas and even passports, they've seen it all and know the truth Get off! |

sucre26: @justwise, gurus in the house please I need your help and advise.my case is long and complicated. I already got my Uk visa for 6months. I used it the 1st time but had several issues at the point of entry due to the fact that I wasn’t straight forward with the officer(very long story). I was questioned, my pictures were taken and my finger prints before I was finally allowed to go in after spending about 7hrs at the airport. I used 3days and left London. I want to reapply soon for 2 years. Is it advisable to apply for the 2years or just 6months. I’m even scared to reapply again You can apply for 2yrs but remember why you were questioned at the poe and explain that. |

Am considering the following schools
Warwick business skul Lancaster university Bath university Edinburgh business skul
Pls what's your view...wanna work in good organization after school oo cos I must recoup my investment... Lol....How is the job prospect like for them
Who knows anything abt the new u.k post study law
Plssssssssssssss...muah Those universities are all very good but find out first about their business school ranking, business schools in the UK are ranked differently compare to other courses. With certificate from any of those universities you have an advantage in job market but do your research first. |

I said it, you're too slow to know you have been contradicting yourself. So the people that came back because of the policy change was because they were not smart as you said? You're not bright Mr man! This is your poor and embarrassing interpretation of my post which did not come as a surprise to me because i know you are clueless. But my fiance didn't received such email from Sheffield, just the TLSContact mail saying her Passport and Supporting Documents are now ready for collection. Yes not everybody receive all 2 emails, some receive just one either from Sheffield or TLSContact alone and that is it. |

Yes, my 2 months salary is within the range. Though, it's paid in 2 forms- fixed and variable pay(commission) Ok go ahead and apply but don't forget to explain that your host in the UK will be taking care of accommodation and feeding, get supporting documents from them to support your application. |

Donphyno101: Hello @justwise,
Please what defferentiate the mails received directly from Sheffield stating that "Decision had been made and your Application has been sent to Visa Application Centre for collection"?
And mail that received directly from TLSContact saying your "Passport and Supporting Documents are now ready for collection"?
Please be honest in your response cos I know you understand much better.
Thanks. When you receive the email from Sheffield about the decision been made you have to wait until they send your passport and supporting documents to TLSContact in Nigeria, when they receive your document you will receive the second email telling you that your documents are ready for collection. Basically your application is processed in the UK and return to visa centre in Nigeria where you made your application. |
