Michaeldonnelly: Hello Good People,
I recently got married to my wife who is a divorcee with three children. She lives in the U.K and I live in Nigeria. We met early last year while I was on a trip there. We intend to apply for a spouse visa for me to join her over there. I would like to know if the application should be done in Nigeria or she should use an immigration lawyer in the U.K to apply on our behalf. And also what are our chances and is there anything other than the usual that should be included with our application. Thank you all. Does she work and earn at least £27,000 a year or have that amount in savings? |

BasDost: Hello @Justwise & co. Please assist me clarify this.
It is stated on my CAS that for English Evidence, "HEI sponsor has made assessment. No evidence required."
Now I'm about submitting an online application & I'm confused about what answer to give regarding this: "Please indicate how you meet the minimum English Language requirement relevant to your course". I used my TOEFL test while applying to get admission. Must I state this & submit it even though my CAS says no evidence is required. There is nothing wrong with that. |

valenti12: Please be careful with requests for someone to help you make payments, while you payback conveniently. If most of y'all will remember @canadiannurse bashing one moniker '@john2017' for offering to help anyone with payment of foreign fees(application fee, tuition fee, e.t.c.) easily. I actually vouched for @john2017 then cause he helped with my Humber College Application fee payment then while i paid him the equivalent in naira. Here is the gbege now on myHumber account after paying my tuition deposit of $7,405.50 my balance is $7,300.50;
Account Balance: -$7,300.50
Sep 14, 2017 - Wire Transfer CAD 20170913 - $7,405.50 Jul 06, 2017 - Penalty for Returned Payment - $30.00 Jul 06, 2017 - International Program App-CHG - $75.00 Jun 12, 2017 - International Program App-PMT - $75.00 Jun 12, 2017 - International Program App-CHG - $75.00
I am just sounding this out immediately so you won't fall victim. I am not entirely sure if @john2017 and his padi applied for return of payment cause have not been able to get to the international center on phone but if na wetin happen, i don lose my money($75 + penalty) and integrity(Humber go don brand me shady). Did you contact john2017 to know what happened? |

Yababoy: Hi Justwise and all other experienced people here, thanks for all your help on this forum. You guys are highly appreciated.
I have a question on the Tier 4 visa which isn't necessarily related to the application itself. I completed my Masters studies after submitting my dissertation in August and had to come to Nigeria for some series of interviews and to pick up a job immediately after. My plan is to return to the UK in November for a week to attend my graduation ceremony.
However, the feelers I am getting now is that I need to reapply for a Visitors visa since I left the UK, in order to attend my graduation although my Tier 4 visa expires in January 2018.
Has anyone gone through this and is this necessary. Please I need advice as I already purchased my ticket for the graduation.
https://www.hw.ac.uk/students/international/uk/visa/visas-for-graduation.htm This is new to me, can you contact the embassy to clarify this? |

nonen: I paid part fees. I paid £3,500, with a balance of £9,450. I was going to pay off the outstanding tuition fees from the cash I have. Are you suggesting a reapplication or Administrative Review please?
Thanks It depends on how much time you have regarding course starting date. Paying the whole fees will also help your application and support your application with letter of explanation like you did here. |

Travel › Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 3 by justwise(mod): 7:28am On Sep 17, 2017 |
nonen: Thanks my dear for reaching out. However, I have genuine counter argument for the ECO''s reasons for rejection, and I'm strongly considering Administrative Review.
Firstly, the ECO mentioned about my study progression (working as an Information Technology Consultant and studying marketing). Well, I have a HND, and we understand the disparity between HND and Bsc in Nigeria, this has really limited my ability to grow, and I therefore decided to equalise my HND and Bsc disparity with the PGD in marketing. Moreover, I have some Information Technology certifications, which I have acquired during my IT career. My current work exposure requires me to also play a managerial role as a consultant, and my marketing PGD training has really improved my career achievements.
On the issue of evidence of source of cash, I attached my bank statement, and there appeared one transaction for my July salary of 500k. But because the ECO rule requires 28days bank statement, I could only have one salary payment entry in 28days. If I'm to provide more months of bank statement, they'd see other 500k salary payments.
On the issue of cash availability, I was really surprised the ECO didn't award me 10 points for my funds. Well, I let my interviewer understand that my salary upon my promotion when I return to work is a confidential, only to the HR department, so I don't know how much I will be paid, however, I'm certain of an impressive increase. My course is costing me 30,325 pounds because I'm travelling with my wife and 1yr son.
Please do you think I stand a chance going through Administrative Review? @justwise please can you advise too?
Thanks everyone. Did you pay your fees or part of it? You have a case if you prepare well for reapplication |

imperiouxx: You see how weird that is?
Thank you. I did not give him any permission to do that.
Why did you come here to post my name or info about me without my permission or what so ever? I've had lot of communication with many people on here, from here to facebook and from here to real life but none of them will ever do this. Now you making helping any new Nigerians a thorn in my flesh. Posting my info here is not any honor but betraying the help and trust I've given to you. I've helped many from here beyond what you can imagine and I do tell them I want no praises because I'm only trying to be a brother's keeper.
Now I really regret everything. Don't, his intention was that of appreciation but executed it the wrong way, i edited the post initially for privacy reasons but he went back to add some bits i removed before and that was why i removed it. Don't take it the wrong way. I can edit the post again and make it available here if you want. |

Whether she acquired the cars through her pussy or not, you can not tell so don't start judging her. At least she's way better than y'all that are still masturbating to Xvideos porn everyday while screaming "Oluwa bless my hustle". Hustle that you don't even have

sundaydammy: Hello house pls I need my ogas in the house to help I applied for Canadian student visa last year and I was not given so now I want to apply for UK visa so pls
1 how can i percent my Canadian refusal
2 in my salary account i do ask my sis to put money into my account so at to have good in flow of funds so as not to just have my salary only coming into my accoun. each month she will fund my account with sum of 800k but it will come in little by little with different names and i will send it to someone account for her and this have been doing for like 3 or 4 months now so i want to know how can i explain this to the VO
Thanks I really don't understand why you thought that this will fool the ECO or why you even think its a good idea. What you have being doing for the past 3months is wrong for visa application purposes. Inflow and outflow means nothing without good cash balance and proof of source of that money. |

Please I need advice on how to use a joint account for a visitors application. I understand that my wife and I need to fill separate forms but since we got married we have been running a joint account. Our landed property is also in our names though we have a fixed deposit in my wife's name
How do we state thes in our individual applications? Just to add, we both studied and worked in the UK before relocating to Nigeria in 2012/2013. This is not a problem at all, submit both accounts and give brief explanation the way you did here |

zoemummy: Good morning house, thank God for this thread. Kudos to everyone who's kept it going. I was here 2 years ago and received a lot of guidance on my 'missionary' journey and I'm happy I was able to give back afterwards.
I'd like to know if anyone in the house has ever had to or knows anyone who had to attend a 'follow up' interview after a drop box application and how it went i.e docs required etc. It's my first renewal after I had my baby in 2015 and I didn't overstay or owe. I have my zero balance statements for all the major payments and I have called the 2 providers whose zero balance statements I do not yet have. They have agreed to send it to the US address where I stayed. I reckon I'll also need employment docs and statements again, which I'm putting together. I'd appreciate a guide on this.
While I was applying for the renewal in early August (visa expires Sept 22nd), the intention was to visit in November and write my CFA exams but a week+ later, I found out I am pregnant-still getting over the news, but I thank God who is perfect in his ways.
Although the pregnancy is still early, I would like to mention it during the follow up interview even though giving birth in the US would be an option B for me (I'm considering another country because of earlier plans for school). Would this pose an issue, given that I didn't mention it (I was not aware) at the time I completed my ds-160 form?
Would appreciate your thoughts, comments or experience sharing on this.
Thank you. The interview is an opportunity for you to clear things up, so go ahead and mention so as to get it into your file |
