To me August seems more appropriate

Not a requirement for the UK visa application but you can add it if you want.

Any other type of visa..student, spouse or Tie 2 visa type will attract NHS surcharge which is as good as travel insurance but for visiting visa no.

Good day and sincere appreciation for the wonderful work you are doing here. Oga Justwice, Frontpagelawyer, and wonderful people.

Here is my query please, what should one select on the aspect of this new visa application that ask if one has taken part in (Compulsory National Service). It was NYSC that came to my mind. Please guide me.

Also, option of NGN and GBP was given on annual income and other finances section of the form, which one is better?

Thank you.
Yes NYSC.

Select NGN they will convert that to £ using the exchange rate of the day.

Your daddy can sponsor you if he can afford it but you need more than bank statement from him. You also need to submit your school documents and course details

Your salary is good you should have booked for budget hotel, spending 400k is still within 2 months of your salary which is not bad.

I hope my sister didn't need Provisional or paid flight booking and tax clearance ?
There is nothing like tax clearance if you work for a company, your salary is net.

Only business owners submit tax papers. As an employee your salary is taxed already and you don't need tax clearance for visa application.

Flight booking is not necessarily but you need to get actual flight cost and outline it in your budget. You can book your flight after getting your visa.

Does waiting for partner's passport's renewal affect visa decision?
And what is the time limit between (successful appeal letter/ withdrawal of refusing visa) and submitting new visa application?
My partner's passport was expired. He did renew it and now he just waiting to collect it, but we don't know how long thas it will take! Maybe 2 weeks!
Hence why I have to wait one or two weeks more before submitting my application as I need his passport to be in date to be able to fill in the new application from.

NB: I did successfully receive a letter from the home office stating and confirming the refusal decision against my visa has been withdrawn and I do no longer need to appeal.
Wait for him to get the new passport because it's needed but it does not affect your visa decision

The time it takes between successful appeal and submitting of passport for visa has not been documented. Some people waiting for a month, some less than that. You probably need to email them for reminder.

Just to thank you that I finally contacted my MP who wrote a letter to the Home office and they responded to him requesting that I resend my financial requirement for them to reconsider their decision so I hope something good comes out of it. I did also appeal and I am waiting as the documents have also been forwarded to the Home office for a review.
Why was refused? Asking you to resend your financial requirement for reconsideration is a good development though.

MPs intervention do help in some cases

@Justwise

please just a point of correction that you still get housing and council tax benefit up to a salary of £20000 a year. its not the number of hours you work but the amount of salary you get. I am on a salary of £20000 a year but still get housing benefit because I have two kids and also get working and child tax credits.

secondly I applied for my husband's visa and honestly told them that I receive all of the following benefits and it does not affect your application as long as you earn the income required by law.

Thirdly a lot of people on here seem to believe that when you receive the processed email with a reference number it means you have a visa, and I will say it is not true because my husband had the reference number and his visa was rejected and it took a month before we had the Health Surcharge refunded.
That few lines I wrote there is just general overview of housing benefit claiming but by no means the whole story.

A lot of things comes into play here...whether you are married and living with partner, number of kids you have, how much you earn, number hours you work(yes it counts), your savings etc.

So you can be working and still claim certain benefits after putting into consideration some disregards

Thank you for your reply. host birth certificate , The embassy required host to provide Documentary evidence of the link between applicant and the contact/host. Beside that, recent refusal letters that i have seen from embassy stated ''No clear link to reference has been shown - e.g. birth certificate of contact/host as proof of family relationship'' . Another refusal reason clearly stated ''R:- No clear link to reference has been shown - no birth certs linking sponsors and applicant''. Thus the birth cert is included.

host children birth certificates and host training letters and letter from school : Thought the embassy will understand that at least host is doing something since host is not working at the moment. However, lesson learned.

As per the savings account, infarct i said the same thing that salary account is better, he insisted on savings account because there is no money there and that because embassy said If you are sending a bank statement from a deposit/savings account, you must also include a letter from your bank confirming that you are allowed to withdraw money from that account. Do you think its too late now to send in the salary account or wait?

Thanks
I can understand the need to include birth certificate but including children birth certificate and training letter makes no sense.

When you send savings account you don't need letter from the bank to say that you allowed to withdraw.

I'm not sure if the embassy will accept additional document after days of submission

1. Council house or a private house subsidized/paid for by council.

2. Can a spouse visa application sponsor apply for Child Tax Credit, Working Tax Credit and Housing benefit and it won't amount to recourse to public funds?

3. Is it possible to submit a bank statement with a closing balance of say £100 after paying for application fee and IHS. (financial requirement satisfied)
This person is living on benefits and working 16 or less hours a week. If you work more than 16 hrs a week you are not entitled to housing benefit but you can claim child tax and working tax credit .

The financial requirements is not really about how much in your bank account but how much you earn yearly which will be indicated in your employment letter and shown on payslip.

People earn and spend on bills and rent but the most important thing is that they have the source to meet those needs

Hi guys. I need your help once again. My dad is sponsoring my trip to the UK. Problem is he transfers his salary from his current account to some other account. This would me that there is insufficient funds in his salary account. Do I have to present both his salary account and the other savings account with funds?

Thanks.

Hi Everyone,

I have a few questions:

1. Can one use a council subsidized house to meet accommodation requirement?

2. Can a sponsor take any/all of these credits: Child Tax, Working Tax, Housing Tax?

3. Is it necessary to have a substantial amount left as account closing balance before submitting application?
1.Are you talking about somebody living in council house or housing association?

2. Please can you rephrase that question because I don't understand what you meant.

3. Yes you as long as it's earned legally and the employment letter supports the earning

Why tax clearance as an employee?

Hello Justwise, please kindly check below documents submitted today for two weeks family visit and tell me what you think. However, i am thinking that the embassy may request for the applicant's salary account instead of savings account he has submitted, as there is no money in his salary account? I also think they may refuse on the ground that the host is not working at the moment, although the applicant will sponsor himself, what do you think?

DOCUMENTS submitted by Applicant:

New Passport with a newly issued South African Visa
Previous Passport with two different expired South African visa
Two Passport photographs
Birth certificate
Children birth certificate
Marriage certificate
Annual leave letter from office
Bank Statement showing balance of N1,30,000 + short note explaining two recent lodgements of 500k and 300k
Pay slips
Flight bookings
Letter of undertaking that condition of visa will be observed
Statement of purpose
Copy of email from embassy advising applicant to write short note that onward journey to South Africa has been cancelled.

DOCUMENTS from Host:

Letter of invitation ORIGINAL
COPY of: of host passport notarised by police
host residency stamps & card
host birth certificate
host children birth certificate
host training letters and letter from school

host bank statement ORIGINAL
host utility bills ORIGINAL
Lease agreement
Driver licence
I don't know why those documents were added.

Yes he should have added his salary account and not just savings

Hi Justwise and other eminent contributors,

Please I have two questions:

1. How soon can one reapply to extend spousal visa - my wife's current visa expires in October 2016?

2. Please do you have a website link where we can download application form and also get more information about what documents are required?

Many thanks.

I've never collected any money from a guy that I can't repay. I hate feeling indebted to people, so yeah, siphoning money from someone who's trying to get on his feet is not something I can everbor will ever do.

Like you said, the mindbis a far better assetghan the body, unfortunately, most people of the world are more captivated by the body than the mind
Sorry I don't like a girl who constantly ask/make demands call it being stingy I couldn't careless.

If I get to know you I should know when and how to help without being asked.

I'm not going to impress you by giving u money or gift just to win your heart, what happens when the money runs out?

I'm not at all against helping gf or wife...that is my responsibility naturally but it shouldn't be the condition of love.

Hi everyone!
Justwise and all gurus in the house please help me out

I was refused my settlement Visa in March, went on appeal in April and the court has written us that the will get back to us on 28 August, but i work for a government establishment and I was nominated to attend a pre workshop in May which I did and the certificate was given which am supposed to use for the international workshop application coming up on 17th August in the UK. For the workshop am expected to pay for my hotel fee and the workshop fee.

My question is

Can I apply for the workshop while my appeal is till on or will they be another refusal due to the fact that I was refused settlement in March even though I have been to the UK before on visit.

Will i still mention my husband in the workshop application?

What documents do I need for this application?

Please I need guidance and advice, thank you

lol....bros, 18k gym membership to get abs is nowhere near 300k breast enlargement surgery.

Will you pay 300k for that? Will you claim to love someone and yet you want the person to risk her life for boobies? Do you know many women don't leave the surgery room alive? And you want to compare that to entering a gym or just doing sit-ups at home?

Do you know once you insert silicon, you can't breastfeed?

If na 6-pack be the issue, come, I'm working on mine and getting results. Lots of dancing and a little bit of sit-up is doing the magic, I can easily get 6-packs, but going under the knife?

If I was fat sef, it would have been better, then all I have to do is lose weight, but I still gat the booobbs and the ikebe. When you don't have it at all, that's a totally different thing.

Don't compare something that can never cost you your life to something that can. They are not on the same level
No I will not pay such money for her physical reconstruction because I'm not fussy about physical appearance, I'm more of character because that is what will sustain the marriage, age will take away the beauty, the ikebes and boobs but personality is priceless.

If you don't like/love a man/woman don't get him into your life because of money and start making demands.

show me a girl obsessed with 6-pack and I'll show you a 10,000 guys obsessednwith booobs and asss.

Those two aren't the same. You can't make yourself have boobies or asssss cuz it's a natural thing, but you can work on a 6-pack. A woman who wants her man with abs can help him work out and he'll have abs, but what happens when you want a girl with boobs or a big assess?

You can't get that in a gym, you can only get it at a theater
..and a man can help his woman lose weight without her moaning...love me the way I'm? A woman without a big boobs can go under the knife to get one just to please her man right?

The point here is...women who make list of dos and don'ts from a man should also expect the same from the man.

Nobody has exclusive rights to make demands
