I and wify(sic) came back from a church programme 8pm on Tuesday. She asked If I will join her in the indomie noodle she was preparing for dinner and I said No that I desired swallow. Something to fill the stomach properly cos there is this delicious oha soup she prepared the previous day. Honestly, I wish and scheme to finish all the liver,towel and other orishirishi used to prepare it. They were so fresh...

Few minutes later, my EBA and oha soup were served and my expectations grew into anger...this woman don serve me water soup... I look across to her doing justice to her well prepared garnished indomie...(oh men, that indomie tight...green pea, carrot, egg, lettuce) and shouted in frustration: ''Why is this soup watery, am I a prisoner?

Being angry that she is having a better dinner, I raised my displeasure to the power of X5. She explained that the soup I have is the amount she could scoop from the blocked quantity and that she complimented it with water. See me see more anger...I abandoned the food and hit the bed in annoyance. This time it was a mind game. The more she beg to prepare another one the more I cunningly form ''James bond'' and slept off afterwards without eating.

Next morning, after preparing to go out I ask for fried plantain and pap, she said whatever I need I should go get it myself (hangover from lastnight) and I replied; ''since you have decided to starve me, don't shout harder to me any other night again cos I don't wanna faint'' and smiled. I guess she stole a smile, went into the room, got dressed and came out requesting I assist her with money to go see a friend. Women! I quickly dip hand into pocket and handed her a thousand naira bill and she left with just saying thank you.


I was at a lost whether to get angry again or smile off our foolishness when she came right back in with bunch of plantain then I knew my breakfast is guaranteed.
Afterwards she ask me to apologize for rejecting her food the previous night which I did and she became happy.

Umunwayi....God perfect gift.

There was much confusion at some point. In addition to the information we got here, we asked people around, some people said it's IMPOSSIBLE or extremely hard to extend. That is very true - which we confirmed.

Some people around also said it can reset if she returned to Nigeria (or exit he schegen boarder) for a few days, some said it won't reset. We can't confirm this, since we did not use this option, but I have a friend who recently left Germany for UK and back, I am trying to confirm if there was a reset. Hopefully, if I find any information, I will update as well.

I'm glad it worked out at least for now, there is always an exceptional circumstances in every rule, you can only get those by writing or calling the authorities. It's not always published because people will abuse it.

I started my course already on Dec 1st. Its a PhD, so flexible. I took an authorised absence from my school to come back 4 visa. I v spent 5 weeks out of 8 weeks annual AA already.

Ok, I remember your case, it takes between a week and two to get your passport back.

Your salary may be an issue but there is no harm in trying

That email did not indicate whether you have been given or not, just be patient and wait until you are called to pick it up.

@justwise and co. Please I got a visa refusal on Jan. 22nd and applied for an administrative review same day. I got a phone call yesterday telling me that the decision has been overturned and that I should drop off my and my dependants passports at the VAC in Abuja. I did so yesterday. To God be the glory, I got our family tourist uk visa today. I say thank you to all the gurus in the house, this is my 1st UK visa application, and God made it possible.

I want to say a special thank you to Patos 231 cos of the encouragement I got tru his post about UKVI approval letter. I submitted on the 4th of Feb and got a message on d 10th frm teleperformance that my visa application has been assessed and a decision reached. I lost hope immediately cos I did not get approval mail from UKVI but picked up again after reading patos231, ironbender and others post on such mail. After receiving the application ready for collection mail, my husband went to pick it up, and behold we all got our visa. For those that dint get approval mail, never loose hope, trust in God, it's actually sent randomly, I dint get it but tanks to God, got my visa

Do you work or have good source of income in Nigeria? Something that will act as your tie-to Nigeria? You still need to provide those even as its all expenses paid trip

Really sorry to read your story, you really need to put yourself together because of your condition.

You can still get another visa because this is the case of misunderstanding, you have your money, you made deposit and did not lie about giving birth in US.

Get the letter the hospital promised you.....not from their agent but from the actual hospital stating clearly that that is cost.

You don't need to spend money on any lawyer or dragging it through long legal process, go and explain things yourself. You will be fine.

If you don't have a job or own a business then getting a visiting visa is out of the picture. Selling your land so as to finance the holiday is a desperate move, it clearly show that you don't plan to come back if given a visa

@phema this people want to see that u have a job even 10million Statement of account might not get you a visa sometimes. You need to show you av a job you need to resume to after your visit. Try and get some ways you could get a company letters if anyone could help and an account that shows how money been coming in. U can't just said u sold a land and u wanna travel. That means once u get there you wanna get settled since u don't even av a job here. So try and see if you could get some one that owns a company to help in that. Don't just lodge money in account trying to prove you can afford your trip. My 1pound

I went to Saudi embassy in abj after certifying from both original and photocopies from ministry of Education and ministry of foreign affair.
they insisted that they must stamp the back of my original certificate and not the photocopy.
I beg and beg saying it would nt b nice for some Arabic inscriptions to b on d back my one and only certificate.
the man there later said its the new consular that was brought 4 months ago that changed the process. that it wasn't like that originally.
