Hello everyone, I'm new to this site but I'm a big fan.
Now I had to join in order for me to ask this question.
I wanna visit the UK this April, I've read through the general visitors page but I need some clearance on the following points.

1) I work as an executive marketer for a pharmaceutical company ( just got promoted last month)

2) take home after tax is 150 but will be 200 this month end due to new salary.

3) I currently have 200 in my savings account which is my salary account as well

4) sometimes some lump sum ( like 500) gets to my account from hubby but it's not sitting in my account. I normally spend it all.

5) I'll be paid 100 for my leave allowance.

6) And recently my boss said I was due for some bonus ( huge amount like 200) cos she told me if I make up to10 million naira sale on a particular drug I'll get 2 % bonus .

Now my question is,
1)won't all this money be seen as money lodgement

2) what are the chances of the result being positive cos I plan on using hotel reservation cos all the uncles that can write invitation letter are saying they don't have good bank statement. .

NB: my boss is willing to writ a letter concerning the bonus and leave allowance.

I don't think you can afford to travel now, you probably will be left with nothing after paying ticket let a lone hotel accommodation in the UK

I have applied for re-issue of my E-passport since last year August 2014 and I was eventually call up for data capture on 19th of February, 2015. After, data capture, the officer in charge handed over to me written figures on a sheet of paper and I was told to come back on the following Monday for my Passport collection.

In summary, getting to passport office on Monday for collection, I was told to provide a written figures in order for them to give the e-passport, I was unable to provide the numbers and I was told the new is ready but without that numbers I would not be able to collect it.

Can someone help out in the house, I am a little bit confused because of the time frame on what to do

How can anybody here help you? Why not ask the immigration officer you met about the possible solution?

Nobody here can help you, these people asking you to contact them are only after your money.

Go back the immigration officer and ask for help, they know how to go about it.

After registering for assessment on www.canadianvisaexpress.com, a lady called me to get my details today, she was about requesting for my Mastercard expiry date plus PIN in order to pay a non-refundable application fee of $983 (N198, 000) when I cut her and requested that I do my thing myself at my leisure which she disapproved, we eventually disagreed and she hung up. Please who has received such call and how authentic do you think this is. Thanks as I anticipate your candid response.

Am a living witness, I fell in love with someone I met online even before meeting him after our meeting the love now multiplied that I can't even breathe, have asked myself this question multiple times if it is right or if am under illusion or infactuation or lust because I see myself loving him more than he does. Please i have a question; my hubby and i recently applied for our irish visas to go and visit our son studying there. His school asked us to send them our visa reference number and we can't seem to find it.
One is normally given a slip after submission, but we just realised that we were not given a slip. However, we were given a payment receipt which has a transaction reference (this reference can be used to track the application). So we are confused if the transaction reference number can be used as the visa reference number.

I need to know if i should also contact vfs

Agreed! We are all the same regardless of location. You do have to understand one thing though. The people you meet online can be a fabrication of their reality and the people you meet in person are more likely to have their character on display.

Not necessarily true, a bad person is a bad person, people you meet in church, club, market or work place can lie to their back teeth, they will only tell you what they want you to know....until they get what they want from you.

Parent doing match making is not real love to me....it's sounds like enforcement or keeping tradition alive. The only reason why these type of marriages lasted for so long is sometimes tolerance because the couple fears offending the parents or family in question.

I don't know about verifying. Was referring to the fact that when you have it listed they can evaluate how much it will cost. T[b]here is a big space for schedule which will contain all u plan to do[/b]. You can even include a budget beside the list. There's really no need for a letter.

That big place has character limitation, there is only much it can take and when you still have more explanations, list, budget to write and the space is not enough then people are allowed to use extra paper for that, Its part of your application.

Letter is necessary if its needed.

Will definitely go for heart to heart, the longer you spent chatting the far too much you disclose which will then become a referencing point during those unnecessary arguments

That is just the hard truth...online chat is good and can also be an issue, you can't retract when you typed and sent in anger, your emotions and body language can not be transferred through chat...people tend to remember those hurtful words than the good ones...

Absolutely possible though the sooner you meet in person the better, long distance relationship creates a lot of problems especially when you are so in love with that person but can only hear her voice, chat or video calls, else frustration and insecurity will destroy it.

A friend of mine dated a lady for four years but they broke up mid-last year because the lady (Ex gf) was dating his close friend and he caught them in sex act.

A month after, he met another lady who happens to be the only child of her parents and he has met them though base on friendship level since he has not propose to her.

Fill it all in the space for it. Once you list all those places and things you want to do/go, they can independently check the cost and compare with what you wrote.

Please, don't write any letter to attach to your application. If it doesn't fit into those boxes they check like payslip, etc, they will ask you to go back with it.

So people who have done it in the past were not allowed to submit it or what?

Embassy don't independently verify places you want to visit or how much you stated that you want to spend, who has time for that?

The budget is to show how you tend to spend the money budgeted for the trip and the affect on you economically.

Well as you can see from what you bolded, I didn't wade into whatever differences that you may have with him. All I was saying is that you un-ban him for the benefit of the newbies. He is not on a stipend for doing whatever he does neither does he receive anything in kind as a motivation to do whatever he does. He absolutely has nothing to loose. When i was doing my application, this thread was very helpful and if you post wrong info and was corrected, you take the correction like a man and not abuse the person giving the correction. That is how we all learn. As for blocking my posts, its really funny but i never right use to give info before, now i am even discouraged the more. Nothing much sha. It wasn't my intention to exchange words with anybody.
