carolinemowete: I hve an invite from the church in uk

I earn over 100 thousand n more depends on my commision.my firm is reputable n its a british owned property company.

I hve my anual fixedfor oct
As long as the church specifically stated in the IV that accommodation and feeding will be provided for you then all you need to budget for is flight ticket and may be money for shopping.

The embassy may call the church to verify the IV if they wish

bummiaj: Thanks. But is my salary not too small?. Becos I earn 135k. And I dont hv tax clearance. I can only visit one country.
You don't need tax clearance, your salary is not bad, with two months salary you should be ok if you budget well.

carolinemowete: @just wise,So plz advice me wht to do the programme is just for 5days in the uk,I wasn't choosen by church to represent them.am taking care of the trip outside the church fund is just the money in my account is not much thatz y am getting a sponsor.but if am to stand as a self sponsor how much do I nEed in my account
If the church gives you sponsorship letter then you need those documents i mentioned before from them, you just said that the money in your account is not enough and that you will be getting some help from your pastor, that means the church is involved.

You need to make a budget of the trip, your flight cost and feeding, addition of all will give you an idea of how much you need to have.

bloggerina: @ justwise - you dont need to be upset when people drop contact details naa. haba! i'm sure we all have better things to do than to be advertising for hospitals/agents. Its nothing personal, pls allow pple to share info free because u dont know how frustrating it can be when you are looking for certain info on this matter. the way the US medical system works, YOU DO NOT GET ANYTHING FOR REFERRALS! thats the truth jare.

those of us dropping contact info just wanna help, sincerely. personally, I GAIN NOTHING from dropping info on this thread. I don go born my pickin for yankee so I dont need the info i'm dropping and i'm certainly no agent. some of us just derive joy in helping others and showing them the way because SOMEONE HELPED US TOO! SOMEONE GAVE US CONTACT INFO TOO!!! it can be very confusing sitting here in naija and planning to have a baby in the us, its not easy and everyone needs all the help they can get.

pls allow people to help others without making it look like agent/commission tinz. pls ok. I doubt that the agents will come back here after all the "tsunami" and "drama" I read about.

I hope I didnt sound offensive in anyway, I'm only trying to point out the fact that in a bid to curb the activities of those that exploit this thread, you may be unconsciously pushing away the genuine ones too...

Warm Regards to everyone
Please speak for yourself because a lot of people have done exactly that here. A lot of people parading as genuine members here and dropping contact details are not genuine, i know when people genuinely want to help and when people just came here to promote a doctor or drop their own contact details.

I'm only trying to help just like few people here, this is a volunteery work, not getting paid neither do i need a visa to US but at the same time i don't want to moderate this section for bunch of dubious characters.

bummiaj: Yes my salary is been paid to my account where I hv an account balance of 800k. My company has no website , and my hr uses a gmail account. Yes I hv a leave letter and employment letter. Please whats your direct contact. Let me call you.

Please lets leave all conversation open and transparent here.

You can apply but if i were you i will stick to one country for now. Make hotel reservation, add your salary account, employment letter and list of places you tend to visit in the country. You also need to draw out your budget, basically explaining how much the trip will cost you, don't budget more than 2months of your salary.

FIR: What most people don't know about visa or work permit issuance is the rule
governing such visa or work permit, so long as you meet the requirement and
you are within the quota limit, if quota allotment is involved you will be given
,
with my years of experience in visa consultancy the only terms and condition known to me
is that your visa doesn't guaranty you 100% entrance into any country as stated in the US website
https://cgifederal.secure.force.com.
I don't like insinuation, if you know any country that states clearly that meeting their visa requirement
is not a guaranty that you will be given please remind me with prove, often times what we see as trivial
is very important to most embassy's ECO, give them what they want, tell them what the rules expect of
you, never you try to dribble and you will get your visa
Again you are wrong, you are giving people false hope here, meeting all requirements does not guarantee you a visa ,however it does increase your chances of getting the visa, visa is a privilege and not a right, so the VO/ECO retains the right to issue you a visa or refused you even after meeting all requirements.

carolinemowete: Just wise I work in a real estate company, the church Is work is a voluntary work I work in a dept in church,
Ok, it may be an issue, the question is....out of all the members why would the pastor single you out to spend church's money for the trip if you are not an employed church worker. If you are a senior/junior pastor in the church then one can understand.

If the pastor is paying part of the cost then it means you have to submit the church bank account and letter from your pastor and other church stakeholders explaining the need for the trip and particularly why you are selected for the trip and not other members.

francini: @Justwise is it safe to pull out money meant for maintenance from my account this period, as I have a pressing need?
If you got your visa now then you can withdraw the money, but if your application is still pending then its a bad idea

francini: @justwise pls I submitted on 29th August @ Abj. when I checked online my status message was your passport n docs have been forwarded to the British high commission, since then I have been checking to see if the status will change but it hasn't. should I expect anymore status message ?
From people's experiences here that status may remain that was until you get your visa, don't always count on it.

omoba88: @ justwise please I'm being invited by my wife's cousin to attend his graduation ceremony, I'm self employed, married, i have my tax clearance and a good statement of account. please what other documents do i need to put together with my application. the ceremony is coming up 2nd week of october and i really want to submit my application next week. Please help
Its 50/50 situation, the ECO may not see the need for you to spend such amount of money for your wife's cousin graduation ceremony but you can give it ago.

You need proof of accommodation, IV from your wife's cousin, your business and personal bank account, tax clearance, marriage certificate and family pictures, business registration papers and the list of things you tend to do in the UK within the period.

IntroVAT: Hello All...

Please do I need a sponsor letter? My sister is my sponsor. My fees have already been paid. My maintenance money has been held in my account, in my own name, even though she supplied all the funds.

I want to know if I need a letter from her stating she's the one going to sponsor me for the duration of my studies? Should she also send financial documents, like her own bank statements?

I had thought that the maintenance money held in my own name would have been sufficient proof of financial independence

Pls a quick response is appreciated

Plan B come back and start a farm. Quite frankly
I sincerely hope that your plan A works out, its possible but not guaranteed, with financial back up you will always bounce back whatever happens. Work on your plan A but don't invest all your time and money on it. When you get here and see how things are you can always change your plan.

GeneralShepherd: Money is covered very well.

Life after graduation, this is the plan I have. To basically start applying once I get to the Uk with my degree in view to all the countries in the world. Attend mock interviews and assessment centres organised by the school.

And most importantly be good at the subsea engineering that I am going to study. Does that suffice as a good plan?

I will really appreciate any piece of advice you have to offer with regards to life after graduation
Do you have plan B? I mean if the job front failed what is your next plan? Are you working now in Nigeria?

GeneralShepherd: My 28th day is today, also paid my tuition gotten my tb certificate. I just don't know why I'm scared of going to the UK now.

Did anyone have cold feet before the msc? The challenge ahead of me seems daunting! No plagiarism? We virtually copied and pasted our assignments in Nigeria.

No family? No old friend? No Nigerian food? Racism? Infact I barely slept last night. Think I had a panic attack!

Justwise, did you have any of these feelings before leaving for the uk?

SpikeC how are you coping?

I am scared
GeneralShepherd: Milton Keynes
MK is a nice city and I'm sure that you will definitely see Nigerian shop or restaurant in the city. You can as well travel just 20mins to Luton where you can buy or eat any Nigerian food you want.

Plagiarism is a serious issue in the UK, there is no excuse for committing such an academic offence, almost all the schools uses Turnitin now to check against plagiarism but that shouldn't worry you because referring and citing your work gives it a lot of credit.

You will meet a lot of Nigerians in your school and Nigerian churches, so it's more like home away from home.

The two biggest problem for any Nigerian coming to the UK to study are: Money and life after graduation, lack of plan about those two will send you into chronic depression which will make your study life in the UK a living hell. If you prepared very well before coming then you got nothing to worry about, you will enjoy every moment of your stay here.

Dt03: I applied for a certain school in UK last year and my application was granted, I was asked to pay a certain amount before my CAS will be issued to me but I had some financial difficulty which made me not to meet up.... now I am ready to go.... Then I was told to pay 2500 pounds but I want to know if this deposit can be negotiated cos I have a lot of thing to do with money at the moment. I am thinking of asking for 1500 pounds
That deposit is part of your school fees, so if you can't afford it how then can you afford the whole fees and maintenance money?

FIR: I am Akpede Francis, a certified travel agent and visa consultant.
It's true that l am organizing an e-training on Become a Travel Agent
And Visa Consultant and Coolscott bought my e-book and l deliver the
ebook to him without delay and the content was complete as advertised
on my website www.learnersandjobs.com/consultancy.php
The e-training program teaches:
1. All the knowledge and skills you need to start a travel agency
2. How to process and get the visa or work permit of any
country and get it without denial or refusal

3. How to do ticket reservations and bookings using Amadeus (updated)
Am glad that Mr coolscott acknowledged that the e-book for the training
will actually aid any one to be able to processed and get the visa or work permit of any
country and get it without denial or refusal, with the aid of the e-book you can
do ticket reservations and bookings using Amadeus without going to somewhere else.
You can't talk about qualifying a client without referring to Kazlauskas, this man is an authority
when it comes to qualifying a client to get visa successfully, it is plagiarism when you remove
someones name from his work and substitute that name with your own name
as Mr coolscot expected me to have done.
On page 336 l extensively duel on "How To Qualify A Client To Get Any Type Of Visa"
within a Nigeria contest.
House, kindly ask Mr coolscott why he thinks an unedited quote from a USA website
has a bad grammar (http://www.travelagewest.com/Exec-Connect/Qualifying-Your-Clients),
the rule of writing a book states that never you edit a quote or reference.
My assurance for any one that is interested is that the training e-book on Become a Travel Agent
And Visa Consultant is informative and self explanatory without unnecessary grammars
beside it's not an English book, the reason why l made this training cheap is because l need
a few partners to work collaboratively with me, otherwise this training is more than five thousand
N5,000 and Mr coolscott could not have lost his money because a paragraph of grammatical error
which is not real, l sent the book to him and he can't get it any where on the Internet for five thousand
naira, Mr Coolscott is an ungrateful and insatiable human being, my Joy is that a lots of my
trainees had testified that the information they get from the e-book has helped them
That is misleading as no visa is 100% guaranteed. You are giving people false hope so as to sale your e-book
