Hopeful1987: The success of his citizenship application is certain, every non immigrant application is a gamble, I would go ahead and apply, if a VO thinks all the evidence I have provided is insufficient, we would pick another country for the trip, early next yr, I shall be having my US visa interview. Tnx Bro, would let u know the outcome wen I apply. Tnx anyway.
The problem is not your list, you have enough in your list for successful visa application

Hopeful1987: Maybe Yes, Maybe not, we would move the date forward if I get a visa and his passport is not ready. My visa would still be valid. but for the application I have to apply on time. Our travel date can always be adjusted. This is my challenge, do I include his receipt letter from USCIS saying citizenship app is in progress. Thank You

That will be an issue as the success of application is not 100 percent certain. Why not wait until his application outcome is known?

Hopeful1987: U guyz are doing a great job here. Tnx in advance. I am currently employed here in Nigeria I am married to a US permanent resident with a pending immigrant visa approval to live permanently in the US. I am awaiting my immigrant visa interview. Hubby resides abroad. Am about applying for UK visitors visa for our wedding anniversary celebration in Dec. Preferably I would like to submit my application in Teleperformance in V.I. My questions are as follows.
* on the application form online, two questions confuse me " [b]The total amount of money you have for this trip" and "what is the total cost of your trip including money other maybe giving u in GBP" is it the name question but difference in currency?
* how many photocopies are needed at Teleperformance
* I would only be providing half of my expense hubby would sort the rest out. I would be using my statement as well as his. Does he need to add any other thing apart from his statement of account it is a Nigerian account. He does not have his US passport yet, his citizenship is in process. Would this affect my application as he is to meet me in London, he does not need a visa wen he becomes a US citizen. The application is in progress. huh
* I have included my employment letter, offer letter, pay slipd for 6 months, FIRS tax card, employee I.D card, introduction letter from my company, landed doc and car papers, pending US immigrant visa approval, travel itinerary, employment confirmation letter, hotel booking, health insurance card, National Housing fund passbook, wedding I.V n program, wedding certificate, honey moon in Dubai pics and shopping receipts. What more can I add. I also added hubby's tax clearnce in the US, permanent resident card n visa stamps to other countries in his passport. What more do I need to know about Teleperformance. What's their procedure. They don't have a phone number on their website. Thank You.
His US citizenship application is still in process? Will it be ready before the travel date?

GeneralShepherd: I don't know if it's fishy though

But open command prompt with administrator privilege and type

netsh set hostednetwork mode=allow said=networkname key=password keyusage=persistent

Netsh start hostednetwork

And you are good to go,you can replace the networkname and passport with any variable of choice
With school network you wouldn't have admin privilege, that will be serious security flaw.

Jaralier: Hello everyone,
Please come to my aid as I need help right now. I applied for my student visa in August and collected it this week. Unfortunately, I was refused on basis of maintenance funds. There were sufficient funds in my dad's company account and I attached the bank statement of the account as well. I also attached a letter from the bank stating that my dad is the sole signatory to this account and the account is satisfactory. The reason why the corporate account and not personal account was used is because my father hardly uses his personal account due to the nature of his business and so most transactions made are used in his corporate account.

Please house, I need your help at the moment because I'm really worried now and I need to know the next action to make.
Transfer the money into your account but you may have to consider January admission if your school offer that because you don't really have the time to count 28days now

Kingsakyi1: He cant get it as the company will be takin peoples next yeat...my uncle have work there about 28 years and he has got only three years now to get on pension...so bro what should i do about it now...i dont wanna get refuse
That is my point, if your uncle is approaching pension age then that $50,000 is his pension money to survive on for the rest of his life, sponsoring you out of that money may be an issue.

That said, don't be put off by anything i have said as i'm only speaking from my personal view.

Feel free to give it a go and see how it goes because nobody can tell you whether you will be given a visa or not

$50,000 is about £30,000 so if your uncle is going back to work next year then it makes your case a little bit easier to judge and with that evidence spending £1000 may not be a huge issue.

AceMiss: Justwise,VicJustice and all the gurus in the house I need to hear from you concerning my case. I submitted my application for renewal of my UK visa on the 3rd of Sept at Ikeja but I have not heard from them yet. Am particularly concerned because I will be going to US on official assignment on the 24th of Sept(ticket purchased and accomodation taken care of by my epmloyer). I went ahead with the application based on experiences with previous applications they were always out in 12-14 days. I am really hoping my passport will be out before that date. What do you advice me to do gurus.....really worried.
You don't have much to worry about, if its not out by next week start writing them to return your passport as you need it for an official assignment

Your chances of getting a visa is very remote with such profile.

Your uncle is no longer employed and he can not spend his redundancy money on you and left with little.

Good evening ladies and gentlemen, it is with great pleasure that I wish to again say that I have received my visa. My unending gratitude goes to Prof. Justwise first of all for his relentless presence on this thread. It may surprise you to know that I have always been a silent observer on this thread and have followed it for as long as I can remember. However time would fail me to list names and give reverence to everyone who made this journey as smooth a ride as possible. To DonOms, HudsonBanks *winks*, Bambamzz, tobee, paradise, dortmund, EAkoteyon,_____________, etc. (please fill your name in if I omit it, I'm human, ain't perfect) If I fail to mention your name, it doesn't mean that I don't acknowledge your priceless advices, like I stated, I'm human. To all those awaiting theirs, your next in line, don't loose faith or fret. To all those having one challenge or the other, don't loose faith, your miracle is neigh, to all those yet to apply and are reading this, stay clear off teleperformance. To Seun, thanks for creating this platform that has become a cornucopia of knowledge. To all those leaving soon, GODSPEED!

kemkem30: @justwise @bambamzzz @tobee thank you all
my husband is not available to apply with us, because he has a post doc in another country. Now, my plan is to get a consent letter, explaining why he cant apply with us and stating when he would apply. even at that he cant stay in the uk for 3 years. he has a job in naija. i plan to show documents and visas to prove all that. finally i plan to show child-care application forms already filled. is there any other thing i can do/add?

I copied the below from bambamzz's link. i hope i can hide under this. hmm i cant leave my kids behind o

":The only exceptions to the requirement that both parents must be coming to the UK are when the other parent is dead, or you have had sole responsibility for the child's upbringing, or there are other serious or compelling considerations that mean the child should be with you in the UK and you have made suitable arrangements for the child's care. If you are relying on any of these exceptions, it is important your child includes evidence of this with their application. This could include, for example, death certificates or divorce certificates.":
You have a good case and if presented well you will have little or no problem getting a visa.

Get letter of consent from your hubby explaining why he will be unable to accompany you, he need to attach data page of his passport, copy of visa to the country he is presently studying in, his admission letter, copy of his study leave from his company in Nigeria and marriage certificate

Its basically two steps....1. he explains the situation in the consent letter and 2. Attach those documents to back it up.

Bambamzzzz: go to under Your child or children
Yes i saw that and there is exceptions to that rule as highlighted in my attachment.

If for example the husband has a good job in Nigeria you don't expect him to resign or take a year leave to be with the wife in the UK

Travel › Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part2 by justwise(mod): 3:44pm On Sep 12, 2014
Bambamzzzz: @ justwise here is the link below and you can see that information under child ( 3 )

http://www.ukcisa.org.uk/International-Students/Immigration-/Dependants/#
You are referring to the highlighted part of my attachment?

Family does not necessarily mean husband only, kids, step daughter/brother, mother etc fits into the definition of family here.

In this case she is going with her kids (family/dependant) and they are applying together(considering the highlighted part of bullet points) with all financial requirements met then she got nothing to worry about.
