mount1ng: Can I ask one simple question, why do we cast stone on our own? Have ever heard a muslim casting stone on their own? Are we saying there is no fraud and deceit in other religion? Do you see it published. You will not, they protect their own.
No matter how much we judge them, God has the final say concerning them.
"Let he without sin cast the first stone"
" If you fail in one you've failed in all"
...and your point is? Because he is a Christian we should cover him up and not talk about the alleged fraud?

BVNO: Thank God that I'm a member of this informative forum.

Please, i have a question to ask and i need a genuine and urgent response.

During our visa application..in the column for duration of stay, my husband and i applied for 2weeks. Although he is the one that will be staying for two weeks while i stay back for child delivery, in addition he is the sponsor. We intend telling the VO of our reason for traveling during the interview (wife child =delivery (11 weeks) and hubby =vacation (2 weeks).

The question is this.

Will the duration of stay i filled in my form contradict my statement (as per child birth for 11 weeks), if I'm being asked the duration of stay?

secondly... Can someone pls help me out with any doctors email in NewYork, so that i will commence my email correspondence.....Please!!!!!!!

Thank you
You need to explain that to the VO during the interview because 2 weeks is no where near what you need.

Please I'm still waiting for an answer to my question. I really need help. I've gotten a reasonable hospital and doctor in Orlando, I just want to be sure of what to do about my visa without jeopardizing my chances.

thanks
Of course you have to state the reason for your trip to US and attach all documents relating to it, anything other than that will put you in a difficult situation.

If you are going for child birth then state that clearly without withholding a single material from them

spikesC: Also justwise, my visa start date is exactly a month before my course start date.

Just saying though
Then you can travel anytime you want, you don't have to wait till the course start date.

Congratulations though.

Fireson: Good tidings I bring to everyone in the house today ,by the special grace of God almighty I'm a fresh graduate of university of Alabama in the U.SA, engaged to a South African lady ( colored) and presently in Nigeria. I just want to confirm from the guru's in the house if it pays to marry a South African , the pros and cons INVOLVED in this life time ball game before making any step if possible. God bless you all !!! wink
Pays in what sense? You make it sound as if you are going into business venture or buying lottery ticket.

pansophist: You are so f.ucking correct, thumbs up man!

The issue with people is that they are so scared of harsh truth, it destroys their illusion and they dont want it. Just a random googling about racism in Norway will expose all what I wrote here and not even to Africans only, even to Asians and other white people who are not Norwegians, its in their culture.

They have this superiority status about every other nationality on earth, they are very insular and most xenophobic people you will ever meet. A review of the ''law of Jante'' will expose what Scandinavians think about themselves and how you should view them. As much as I applaud their free tuition fee for international student, nothing there is interesting at all, their girls sef na another story because the kind girls wey I de see brothers carry for here, e no make sense at all.
Some times when you tell people the truth you are called enemy of progress, 'bad belle' who doesn't want people to travel.

tobee: Hello Gurus in the house, I want to find out if I can print my statement of account myself from internet banking or I need to get the bank's print out.
If you print from the internet you need to take it to the bank for stamp and signature else it will not be accepted, also make sure that the online printout has all the details...e.g...your name, account no, sort code etc...

Inxyz: Well, time will only tell for you not me.

I have seen many that made it here, unemployment rate in Stavanger is less than 2% and if you are not satisfied here then migrate to other country after your Msc.

Yes weather is harsh in many Scandinavian countries but there is nothing like bad weather, just bad clothing. If you have good clothing you can make your body as warm as you want.

My advice is come and get educated first and better things follows even when you return to Nigeria.

Morethan 50 international oil companies reside here and you can also take advantage of that.

In a nutshell, it's worth taking a shot. Do your best; add value to yourself and create your own opportunities.
Why do we do everything under the earth to leave Nigeria even with all our crude oil and other natural resources?, why don't we take advantage of that even as we don't need a visa to work in Nigeria?

ashimiyu: @Pansophist: I deduced you have been to Norway, from your conversation with INXYZ. Please, I don't think your post is fit in this forum. Why are you discouraging people looking for success from studying in Norway instead of the encouragement? With due respect, I sees it as a resentment from your side. If you want to make advice, this is not the way to do it. Can you compare it with studying/staying in Nigeria? For so many years, people have been going to Norway to study and some people wait there to work, though there might be some challenges. Can you compare it with Nigeria? To me, I sees this forum as a platform to put all hands on deck, to discuss, encourage and solve our challenges as ONE Nigeria, most especially Nigerians in Norway. That was the reason I joined, not to come and be discouraged. Did you spend up to 9 years in Norway? Well, may be I think during your stay there you were not lucky and that does not mean others won't. So, please don't mention those kind of things in this forum. ANY OTHER PERSON SHOULD NOT BE DISCOURAGED BY WHAT MY BROTHER, PANSOPHIST SAID. KEEP THE SPIRIT ALIVE AND STRIVE. I AM SURE YOU WILL MAKE IT. ALL THE BEST.
While you encourage and advise people its also fair to tell them the truth about that particular country, its called balanced opinion. Don't tell people the sweet side of the story only so as to be seen as a 'nice guy'.

easytalkwitbabs: Dear people, please I have issues and I will like to know if I should submit application or not.

I graduated from Secondary School in 2006 and later got admission to University in 2008.

I later left the University 2years after because I didn't like the course then.

Since year 2010, I haven't make any attempt to any University.

Now, I am planning to school in the UK (January 2014, intake) "Foundation year course" BUT I'm now thinking if my visa will be refused since I have left school since 2006 without any further education background.

Please JUSTWISE and Others, kindly advise me. Will this affect my visa application?

Thanks all.
Have you found school yet?

ifeoluwawa: @twizzie n @justwise.....

I think u should think about what been scammed means before generalizing that sending emails or personal contact to get the info anyone needs is scamming. Am not asking anyone to send money to anybody for anything and am sure no one will be as gullible as you think to send money without seeing the services you are been rendered. As for not seeing me on here before, that's not a basis, there is always a first time. And the last time I checked, we are here to share information and not tackle.
This is simple....do not drop your email address here for some sort of 'link up'. Info is shared openly here to be fair and transparent to everybody.

Please be mindful of who you contact in private for accommodation or other services relating to child birth in US, not everybody here can be trusted. When you get scammed please don't come back here to accuse Seun and mods of covering scammers as some have alleged before.

HudsonBanks: Good evening my people!

Have a quick question....So I contacted an International student support officer at my school concerning some unclear questions on the Tier 4 application form. Below is an excerpt from her reply email

Have any of your course fees been paid?
Yes - Paid to UK Education Provider

Have any of your accommodation fees been paid to your sponsor?
No – we do not include this amount on the CAS

Do you have any remaining fees or maintenance still due for payment?
Yes – You will need to show maintenance of £7,380

My question - Can I use the payment confirmation email for accommodation deposit as Original or Official receipt in my application since it isn't stated on my CAS and select "Yes" to the accommodation payment question on the form instead of what was advised by the support officer?

@justwise please your million dollar advice is needed.
DonOms: If the payment confirmation is sent directly from your school's official email, and if your name is clearly written as the payer, together with amount paid towards accommodation, then it should be alright to use the email. However, note that the maximum money you can show towards accomm. is £1020.
This post ^^ answers your question, don't copy and paste the payment email from the school, print it out directly from your inbox (very important) because it will carry all verifiable details.
