mandee8223: sorry about the repetition, I only sent one which is the one in green, don't know how the others came about, I apologise though

bank statements for me, hubby and the kids, mine and Hubby's employment letters/payslips,marriage certificates, wedding pictures, letter of consent and sponsor from husband, kids' birth certificates, letter of reference from husband's employee referencing me, letter of iv from sis and husband, their payslips, bank statements and their residency cards, family picture with sister, additional notes.

There is no info about accommodation for you and your kids, (e.g tenancy agreement or mortage paper from your sister) no break down of things you tend to do while in the UK, no leave letter from you, no budget of trip...etc

spikesC: I understand that quite alright, but shouldn't they have stamped her visa to start from 1 month before her course start date?
That way, things get clearer and she avoids any problem that might occur because of misunderstanding and ignorance at the Nigerian airport and possibly, at the POE

She will not be stopped at the POE because she is traveling a month before her course starts because its clearly stated in guidance note that she is allowed to do that.

Your visa stamp will read your course start date but you are allowed to travel before that in preparation for the start date.

spikesC: Her course start date and visa start date is the same?
Shouldn't she be worried?
She can travel to the UK any time from Sept 6th upwards, students are allowed to come to the UK a month before the course starts. You need time to settle, get accommodation, know your way around the city before the course starts.

mandee8223: Just wise pls help.
I applied for a family visit visa to visit my elder sister and her husband who is an EEA national/British citizen alongside my two kids, my husband, a banker was my sponsor and my sis and husband sent in their documents and a letter stating they would take care of our accommodation and other expenses. we were refused and given no rights to appeal, the eco stated that they thought I had no intentions to return (my husband is not travelling with us so I have family ties) I also have a steady and secure job where I earn 120k. they stated that I didn't prove to them that I could maintain and accommodate myself and my kids while in the UK, my husbands bank statement had 1.2m and mine 400k, my kids both have over 100k each and we get monthly dependant allowances of 20k for me and 5k each for the kids from my husbands employer. they also did not put into consideration my sisters letter stating that they would accommodate and feed us, bank statements and payslips as well as ours. my husband also got a large sum of 800k inflow into his account which was corporative contribution from 10 staff in their bank, his statements showed his own contribution of 80k each month from February but they still said the inflow was suspicious and that why would he have 1.2m and wish to spend 800k on me and my kids without considering the fact that his monthly income of 385k would still continue for the two weeks we would be away and mine too. we just sent admin review let's back to them pointing out these facts and how we think their decision was unfair. are we supposed to fill any admin review request form? are they supposed to issue us a right to admin review with our refusal forms? and pls wat are our chances of getting their earlier decisions overturned? pls respond dear just wise I'm anxious and this is my first time writing on naira land. THANKS JUSTWISE

toseen29: Hello vicjustice, justwise, peacock et al, please i need ur kind assistance. i submitted my application for a business visit to the UK yesterday, book an appointment for 9 a.m on Thursday. My organization is sponsoring the trip for 9 employees, to visit the coy's subsidiary in the UK (5 employees has valid visa, the remaining 4 of us are sumitting VISA request). There was a part where the question 'Are you travelling with anyone?' was asked i chose 'No' because we were asked to submit our application individually with the organization providing necessary document. A colleague corrected me now that i am expected to choose 'Yes' and input the Passport information of those who already had VISA. i cannot correct this as the application was already submitted but is there any way i can go about it?
Since you have submitted already i don't think there is much you can do.

Amar2627: Dear all,
I'm very new to this community and i want to make few inquiries, though not sure i am posting in the right post but i am looking forward for your kind assistance all, Please smiley
I have applied for a tier 4 one year student visa and it has been refused. The reasons behind this refusal were explained somehow it was to my expectation:
1)My father is my financial sponsor but his name in english does not match with the name provided in both my passport and birth certificate.
My country uses arabic as first language and therefore like many other places english spellings are prone to mistakes because they are completely operator dependent.
2)There's a discrepancy between my date of birth in my passport and that of the birth passport.

To be honest, this wasn't my fault and i have never had the intention to do such thing. I was a tennis champion and our local tennis union issued me a passport with my age 2 years younger so i can participate in an international tournament. At the time this passport was issued, my previous one was cancelled and therefore i couldn't do anything about it.

Now i am in a very difficult dilemma, i have my funds ready but it is difficult to make an explanation to the UKBA. Saying the truth might accuse me of deception and fraudulence about why there's anage discrepancy while with my current situation i wouldn't be able to proof anything new
Can you correct the discrepancy in your birth certificate and passport and move the money in your daddy's account into your account?

This is a conversation you need to have with him and come up with a decision. Appeal takes at least 4 months and very frustrating waiting time.

Peacock23: My husband is a EU citizen, born and bred in spain,he's moved to the uk in 2009,and I met him in the uk
Ok, it will be a lot easier for him to move back to Spain and invite you over to Spain then you can move to the UK together with your paper.

Personally i don't think the employment and the salary is as stated.

Vicjustice: Man, you really saw what I saw: it shows that you are really into the system, only those in the system would understand (from her story) that her husband works for either an Asian or an African employer
Oh well... can't really say much so as not to get my knickers in a twist.....but you get where i'm coming from though.

If he can get a letter from the company to support his claim then that will help as well

Pweety1: So there is no need to add Bsc certificate and receipt for school fees since it is stated in the cas letter

I did not say that. All i said was: Unconditional offer letter is not needed but including it will not harm your application

I did not tell you not to include Bsc certificate and receipt for school fees

Peacock23: Help Hello,I was refused eea family permit today, the reason for the refusal was that they called my husbands place of work all to no avail,so they don't believe he works there or earns the income he said he claims. It was also stated that as such they are not sure he's residing in the United Kingdom. It was also stated that I am umemployed(which I am)and I didn't state how am being supported in nigeria, saving, lands or property and that no evidence of my husband sending me money. I don't need my husband to send me money cos I get money from my mom every month,so it wasn't necessary for my husband to send me money and I also put in my mom bank statement, when processing the application,I have the right of appeal, but I don't know if it's to appeal or re apply or simply do both.thanks
Before you reapply or appeal you need to have heart-to-heart chat with your husband to ascertain his situation because that will really help your next step.
Find out first if he still work with that company and live in the UK permanently or his travels to other EU countries for business etc.

iamnewhere: Hello Visa Officer,

I hope you will be fine. My question is that My wife is an american citizen and she was divorced but when she got married here with me in Pakistan we on the marriage certificate mentioned her as virgin. Now for CR1 visa she has submitted her divorce papers as well. Now the problem is i can not rectify this error from the marriage certificate issuance authority so hearing this my immigration consultant asked me to cross it my self and wrote divorced on it and then send it to him. I asked him that even if i do that the embassy will physically verify the marriage certificate from registrar and his own copy of marriage certificate which will state her as virgin. So what should i do should i let the case proceed without correcting the virgin part as we are not hiding any thing coz she has already submitted her divorce papers or should i cross it my self and correct it will it effect my case if i do it or not or If i just submit the marriage certificate as it is will the visa officer wont be suspected about it kindly guide me please.

cookies: 3sha4lyf, I really appreciate your response, Worry359 I didn't ask for ideas to survive with 2 kids as a full time student but accomodation ideas. I'm not a first timer in the UK and I'm fully aware of what it entails, going with my kids so your response wasn't necessary.
Actually worry359 was on point with his reply to you, everything he said there is very important. I don't know a single university that provides accommodation for students with kids so you have to rent from private landlords or letting agents.

His comment about child minder is also very true only if you will be coming with a family member who will look after your kids while you are at school OR you register them in day-care (depending on their ages) and pick them up everyday after school but its very expensive.

Since you are coming with 2 kids you need to rent 1-2 bedroom flat suitable for family.
