goodness1109: Immediately i got to know this, i wrote to CDHC to stop processing on my application but no reply since then. I have since been on my kneels so that i would get out of this mess, get my hard earned original docs back and eventually get a reliable job back here in Nigeria so dt i can adequately provide for my house one more time again just as i used to do when i was gainfully employed. It's really tough, i must confess!
You are just prolonging your case, you are given 30days to defend yourself but you failed, that shows that you are guilty as charged.

Why not write the Canadian embassy an apology letter and start serving your 2yrs ban? Appeal to them to return the original documents among the fakes you submitted and move on with your life.

JMA: Teesside University UK offers work “Placement Year” for who is eligible to participate. A BSc or BEng undergraduate student would normally study here on a 3year programme, however some students choose to study a 4 Year programme which includes a placement year (We call this a Sandwich Degree). These placements usually take place after the student has competed 2years of academic tuition, they then begin their placement year in Year 3, returning in Year 4 to complete their undergraduate degree.

This will be supported by the University staff support students to ensure students get jobs in good companies
BPP University College offers MSc Management programmes below which provide students with the skills and competencies you need to manage effectively in business today, combined with specialist knowledge in finance and financial markets.
This is an 18 months programme where the student is on the taught MSc for one academic year then placed by us on a 6 months paid work placement with one of the firms BPP have entered into agreement with. I reckon you will like this.

From UKBA Site "the minimum salary for Tier 2 General will remain at £20k." They only have a few months after completing their course before they have to leave the UK. If they want to stay and work it’s a vital focus to find work. Our Programmes provide support for graduates to find and apply for jobs in the UK.

Why should people not contact the university directly? If you are representing the university then why are worried that people will contact the university first before contacting you?

Placements are not for everybody, its for people who are enrolled with the university, so why are you advertising it here?

Do you mind if i contact the university today to find out about this?

Yankeeboi1: My fellow Nairalanders, I cant explain all I am facing here in the US as a student coz I'm finding it somehow uneasy. First, when I got here this fall I have a problem with my accommodation and where I eventually move to is too far from my school. I have to walk for about 20-30mins to the bus stop before I can get a free shuttle bus to the school. To be candid my pple, I'm not coping in classes coz since we start lectures, the lecturers always talked about one article or the other and also presentations whereby I didnt have a computer with me here I believe in myself to be a good student but it is becoming the other way round in this country and I feel alot depressed anytime we have classes. huh Is this how I will continue or Is there anybody in the house who has or is in my shoe? I tried to look for job in other to sustain myself but all prove abortive as I was told I have to have a work study before I could get one presently. I even went to the cafetaria yesterday and I was told to file up an application which I dont know when it will be review. Pls I need to know the way out of this b4 it get out of hand. I am just trying to manage the little money with me here. Kindly let me know what to do coz I'm thinking of leaving this school to another state where I get some pple but im afraid of falling out of status. I believe I can transfer but I dont believe I can stay here till next fall or even spring.Any advice pls?
Why not tell people the state where you are and school name? Somebody here could help you with legal way of sorting yourself out

uceee: Hypocrisy all over the place. People Looking for people to condem for doing the same things they have done. They justify themselves by telling us they did it for different reasons from the ones we are doing them. My guy here found a US Visa useful when he wanted to study abroad. He conveniently forgot that there were plenty of universities in Nigeria offering post graduate education up to Ph.d level. Now he's telling us that US Visas are useless. He probably still travels to the US once in a while for business, pleasure or whatever. But its alright, cos he does not have a "slave mentality" like the rest of us. SMH

Manager007: Your wife can definitely put to bed here in SA. Not a problem at all. However, your child will not be granted automatic SA citizenship unless either you, or your wife is a South African citizen or have Permanent Residence in SA. Your baby will however be issued a SA Birth Certificate, and eligible to receive full citizenship at age 10.
Benefits of being a citizen is limitless brother, if u compare to being a Nigerian citizen. From scholarship opportunities, to employment opportunities etc.
Abeg, no forget to invite me to come chop rice when your wife born oooooo
morpheus24: MR Manager, can you point to the law or clause in the south African immigration law that allows for a child of foreigner who do not live or plan to live in SA would grant that child full citizenship at the age of 10 without the child living in the country for any period of time.
I'm not sure if you read his post properly.

manny4life: How I mean is that he's two sided, he said the way the OP stated it like traveling to U.S. or U.K is a denial of a happy life. Therefore, wouldn't it make sense, for you to have a happy life or should I say better life, you need a good job. For him to have a good job, the education comes in, so although not directly related, him traveling to the U.S. for an advanced degree does have its perks on his better life now... Unless if he's trying to deny that his advanced degree from the U.S. doesn't or did not play an important role in his happy life.

So if indeed such exposure adds even a minute amount of happiness(though happiness cannot be quantified), doesn't it make sense that his bickering is two-sided?
No that is not my question, i'm referring to the editing of his post. Why?
Travel › Re: Warning For Pregnant Women Travelling Abroad by justwise(mod): 1:56pm On Sep 18, 2012
manny4life: I just re-edited your post.

Isn't it ironic how you write this YET you claimed you did your masters in that same place? After all, weren't you having a happy life back home in your Nigeria? Are you trying to say that your masters did not improve (directly or indirectly) on the quality of your life? What your type is, you do the same thing which you publicly condemn (two-sided person, speaking from two sides of your mouth)
How do you mean by that?

coogar: you are a disgusting hypocrite!
yet if a slave ship docks in apapa tonight, you would be the first to jump on it in shackles. people have the right to choose where they want to give birth to their kids. majority just want a safe delivery of their babies - not necessarily because of citizenship or blah blah blah. hundreds of thounsands of nigerian women come to the uk every year to give birth to their babies - the babies don't gain any citizenship since 1983 but it has not stopped the influx of nigerian women coming to the uk - so the motivation is not citizenship, it's safe delivery!
Arsenate thank coogar for educating you, let it be the only think you have achieved today.

Does that sound better.?
Go and watch paint dry.
Travel › Re: Warning For Pregnant Women Travelling Abroad by justwise(mod): 10:41am On Sep 18, 2012
eelvismd: What is the motivation for such?

1. Citizenship for their children because they see no hope in Nigeria in terms of opportunity
2. They consider the West to be superior and hence have no value for whatever emanate from us

What are the reasons for those travelling in the name of schooling?
Guess the same reasons above

So they are connected whether you admit it or not, and the bottom line is that we have a poor mentality fueled by our perverted value system.
You keep getting it wrong, this thread is about Nigerians abusing foreign health care system, whether they are doing it to get a better future for their kids is not the issue, the op is basically saying....pay for your hospital bills and stop abusing the system.
Travel › Re: Warning For Pregnant Women Travelling Abroad by justwise(mod): 10:23am On Sep 18, 2012
eelvismd: They are all connected because we are just too obsessed with traveling abroad and hence nobody thinks about what he or she can contribute to better the lots of Nigerians. It is always about me and my family and nothing more.
They are not connected, this thread is about Nigerians abusing foreign health care system.
