If you notice i made and emphasis on inner city roads which are not highways where tankers and heavy duty vehicles readily pass. Fashola does not have to do everything that is why we have LG responsible for facilities within their domains. Last time i checked Tinubu further created additional 37 LG in order to speed up development but we are actually retrogressing.

My question is what are the LG doing, i personally feel gov and Tinubu cannot criticise the LG because 50% of money allocated to them is always taken by the state gov for God knows what. The LG shares the remainder after salaries and nothing is done, otherwise how do i explain the road in front of a local govt office unmotorable.

All local government in lagos are very well developed, u have to ask urself, how many roads are in the local government of lagos?? all am saying is that resources is not enough, lagos is a mega city and the fg and state gov should work hand in hand to elevate the plights of the people,

You have a city of 18 million people and more thousands coming in everyday, There is no way he can finish everything in one term, what are u guys smoking?? Its gona take 30 Fasholas consectuively to uplift lagos state, Rome was not built in a day, it takes years of planning and implementation and of  orientation. He just bought new garbage dump trucks but that in itself is not enough. Revenue per citizen and FG allocation per citizen in  lagos state is still the lowest in nigeria. States like bayelsa and rivers have way much money to spend per head on socal services but u still dont hear about them.
You guys want everything to be perfect in 4 years, drainage sytem,, check, lights, check, roads, check,  Lagos state has more roads than any state in nigeria, man,, its not easy to rule a city of 18 million people and provide services for them with definitely little to no FG assistance.
Even a good road like in abuja built in lagos state wont last for more than 2 years,. the stress on the roads from all the tankers coming to the ports to load up on fuel , cars, motorcycles, man,, its too much, If Nigeria has functioning railway system to reduce the stress on the road and also if half the states in nigeria is working like lagos, then u wouldnt have all these stress on social services, What we should be asking is that the next governor in lagos state should outdo fashola. Continuity is the key here not present scenario, No doubt garbage is eating up lagos and the government should tackle it but u got to understand that lagos has so much problems and limited resources so u have to allocate resources effectively. We all did economics in school.  
TO handle refuse effectively in lagos state, its gona take at least 6 mega refuse processing site with thousands of manpower and garbage bins positioned everywhere, So if u put that much money in refuse,  whats gona happen to roads? then u all gona come here and complain about the roads system not being taken care of ,
Its a procsss man,,, it takes years to cleans this mess up cus this mess we are in came from years of abuse and neglect by preceeding adminstatrion and its gona take more than 8 years to correct.

A friend had to phone the guy in charge of works as to why the Isolo/ Ejigbo rd under construction since last year has not been concluded and the dude point to the FG not remitting their part of the counterpart funding. Beats me to see how Lagos will progress on these fronts when they've to go to PDP center for funds.

Thing is ,, its a federal road so the federal governmetn has to remit their own share of the money which they fail to do,. Most of the major roads in lagos are federal roads and the Federal government dont wana do anything about it and even if lagos state government wants to fix it, they would get sued. I know its a bad system but thats how it works in Nigeria. same thing as power, some tates can produce their own power but they are not allowed to like lagos and river state. These things go beyond what we see,, there is alot of politics involved. The feds would try to undermine lagos state as much as they can by not releasing money and withholding funds cus the common man on the street dosent know the difference between state and federal road.
NO country was built in 5 yrs,, its all contiunuity, u dont expect the man to fix everything in 5yrs. He is trying and u need to acknowledge that and stop pointing to one or 2 bad spots and holding him ransom for that. We need him to set a benchmark and let the next governor outdo him. Lagos has 14 million people and thousands coming in everyday, so its a monumental challenge. Do the best u can do, caution ur friends and neighbour the hazards of littering and keep ur surrounding clean. Lets give accolades to whom it is do, that way, they are motivated to do more.

Any company trying to sell their  property always hire an appraiser to value their assests before selling so they get good market value for it . In ur instances, the appraiser values it low so as to sell it to one of their cronies, thats why u are getting ur  SUV or car for less than market value. Thats fraud or “Nigerian way”. You can even get a 2008 Toyota Camry for 50k. Any financial analyst or corporate accountant can tell you how a company depreciates its assets. So what are they talking about quality, some of the people here need to go take an econmics class. The money multiplier effect. If the government were to put that money into the economy, that would produce more jobs and not depress the naira value. U guys forgot that there was a time PAN was the official government car and ALL those cars were assembled in Nigeria. That contract for those buses would definitely make INNOSON factory hire more people which would reduce unemployment and those employed people would spend the money in the economy which would make the economy grow, its a multiplier effect people. For people insisting on the chinese made buses are higher quality. How are u sure their buses would even last or their quality would be better than the nigerian one. U dont know. U are just assuming their quality would be better and assuming INNOSON is worse off. All ur arguements here are all based on assumptions.
The Chinese would bring low quality buses and the guys in charge would make a killing form the profits.
The US government before giving out any defense contract would make sure there is local content involved, at least 30-40% should be local content and also AFFIRMATIVE action in some of the contract.

Because u are negative now dosent mean u dont have HIV, it just means that ur body have not started making antibodies against. It can take up to 6 months for antibody to start appearing in ur blood. That is why when u are negative, they sit u down and ask u about ur sexual history to determine if u have to come back after 6 months for another test. So dont be too happy when u get that negative result. Just play safe sex.
The 5mins -4hrs fast HIV test is called an ELISA test, its 99% right but not 100%, the test just looks for the antigen in ur blood, no antigen then we assume u are negative, if it comes out positive, then we do WESTERN BLOT, its HIV confirmatoy test. I have this same Nissan altima, but the 1994 model. from1994-2000 use the same engine including the infiniti G20. They use the KA24DE engine. These engines dont die,, i have abused this car, but still drives like charm. Mine is 360000kms and i still drive it regularly from toront0 to maryland to see my aunt. Nissan engines always kills it, and did i mention these things are fast. I can still still pull 100km/h in 2nd gear with no roll-start. I am a nissan guy and always will be. The best thing is privatization,, It is everywhere, In the US, Canada, Germany. The government job is to regulate the rates that would bring a good return on investment. Things like power in Nigeria will never be solved by throwing money at it. Leave the states to it, u will see, in 2 years things will improve so fast. It will be like during the GSM time. No amount of money the government throws in will fix the problem. The whole system is corrupt, bring PPP in and u will see a difference.

If the Pastors spend half the time they spend preaching about tithes and offerings to the congregagtion on the sins of lying and stealing, nigeria would be a better place. How can a local government chairman or a senator or a governor expect to receive blessings when he channels all the state allocation to his private account. All the prophet in the bible were never loved by the rulers of the day, some were jailed, some were also killed for saying the truth and warning the leaders about the consequences of their action. I have never seen or heard Adeboye telling all the senators or local governement chairman that come to his church that they will die from all the evils they do with the state allocation. If he wants to do the right thing, he should go as far as telling all his pastors that they shouldnt receive any tithes from any political appointee because that money should be used to develop the city or country. Nope, he wont say that cus thats bad for business.
Its about time all these pastors get off the " pay ur tithe or u will die" bandwagon cus honestly, God does not give a shit if u pay tithe or not. The pastors should be telling all our politician about the consequences of their action and how they will burn and rot in hell for their actions on our community and our country cus i know all these politicians do go to church.
The instruction of people coming in the front of the church so that everybody would know u pay ur tithe is wrong but a very good psychological and business decision. It makes the giver feel good and special and makes the individual not giving feel like he does not belong. I dont know why u would want anyone to know u are paying tithes, its between u and God. Why the show., its all business . The US played the same "fear" game during the soviet war, do u notice that all the holllywood movies allways show the US victorious against Russia, its all a propaganda,. it makes the viewer and the rest of the world belieive that the US is better even though they are.
Its about time we develop maturely as an individual and realize that God only cares about our heart and not our offerings. Its not about the money, u give and u dont, its all up to u but never ever believe that u get special blessing bcus u give. U get blessing from ur actions during the week and after the church and the positive impact u create on peoples life, thats what GOD looks at.
