No. You can only fund it with dollars.

Here is how you go about it: you purchase the dollars from the black market at what ever rate they are selling it and deposit it into your dom account. Whatever balance you have in your dom account is whatever purchasing power you have with your USD debit card linked to that account.

Simple, send him a resignation note. You owe him and the company nothing. Make sure you give a month's notice if that's what is stated in your employment contract. If you don't have a contract then 1 week notice is okay.

Stop being sentimental about it, it's your life and your career. Go for whatever is in your best interest.

You are only charged the official rate if you want to buy from the bank for school fees or business travel/company transactions and it's almost impossible these days for the banks to sell you dollars. I hope that answers your question?

That's because you probably got a prepaid card not linked to a dom account. When you have a dom account whatever you do on your card is linked to your dom account. So you can do online purchases, withdrawal from the bank or withdrawal overseas from foreign ATMs.

Yes na. Anything you can do with your dom account you can do through your card. No issues. But please if you are planning to open a domiciliary account use one of the stable banks like UBA, Zenith or GTB, just to be safe. Their cards are never rejected.

I have both the GTBank and UBA USD debit cards. I got the GTbank card 2 years ago so I cannot remember if I was charged for it, but the UBA card my domiciliary account was debited $10 for it. I got the UBA card this year and I must admit it's been seemless for online payments far better than the other one.
