Who said a child has to look exactly like their parents?

If they are ugly it doesn't mean they look like their parents. They could have completely different features from their ugly parents but still look ugly.

What do you mean by what we mean by 'ugly' or 'beautiful'?

Genetics is obviously passed down but it's your parents who play a major role in your dna blueprint. I know I also have my grandparents genes so what exactly is your point?

Regarding different eye colour and hair colour if the parents have dark eyes and hair is caused by recessive genes from both parents.

Isn't it the grandparents genetic mix that made the parents ugly and your parent's genetic mix is very likely to make you ugly too?

So what's wrong in marrying a goodlooking person so your child can atleast have a chance of coming out pretty?

Two beautiful people have more of a chance to have a beautiful child than two ugly ones.
