The reason I can't blindly recommend a code editor for you is because some code editors are specifics for some languages.

Some might run HTML, CSS only.

Some might just run Java only.

Some might run python only.

That is why you need to mention the particular language you already know about.

Expatriate on that app development, is it web application or mobile application development.
Almost everything is an app these days.

There is nothing wrong with not having a laptop, many great Nigerian developers started without a laptop of their own.

There are some apps depending on the programming language, but I wouldn't advise you to use phone as this limits the scope and usability

Phone is a good starting point especially when you don't have a laptop yet and have a burning desire.

There are apps that allows you to run code on your phone. Do a Google search and download them then start coding.

On a serious note, how can a lady insist on staying in Ibadan while her husband is staying in Lagos.

The degree she's taking about is a part time program, I presume.

It becomes embarrassing and shameful for a man who has a house in Lagos to always go to Ibadan every now and then to meet his wife. Why can't the wife be the one going over to his place? Men have ego.

It's not as if Lagos to Ibadan is even that far.

Not in any way saying the man is right though.
