The bitter truth is that somebody in love does not seem to view his/her relationship situations objectively. If everybody else say something is bad, there is every possibility that it has some bad traits.

We don't know the nature of her misunderstanding with your family (or sister) but it is possible she had caused them tremendous psychological trauma which either she has not fully repented from, or you have not been able to convince them otherwise. What do your close/good friends say about her?

Yes, marriage has to do with mature mind and mature pocket but if all a man has is money, he has nothing. You just mentioned that you are a graduate but did not state if you are financially independent. If your parents are paying your bills then, you have to mend the fence as quickly as possible. Even if you are on your own, try as much as possible to integrate your wife into you big family. "Praise the Lord" is always easier that "Holy Ghost Fire!!"

Don't easily succumb to the idea of backing out completely on your family because of your wife. Marriage should be blissful; we don't know tomorrow.

Remain Blessed smiley smiley
Romance › Re: How To Know When A Man Loves You by Kashif(m): 11:02am On Dec 09, 2006
I want to get something clear here. Is it knowing if a man loves you when he has not said anything or knowing if the love he confesses is real?

I agree with adunnilaby. A man could love you but come up with some unpredicatable instincts due to character traits or past experiences. If you just started seeing a guy, some of the love signs are:

He listens carefully to what you say and don't say.
Ignoring or offending him makes his heart bleed.
He notices when you put on new cloth, hairstyle, etc.

If you have been seeing him for some time and want to know if he really loves you, there is no rule of thumb. Your instinct should be able to advise you but some of the following might manifest:

He tells you about his past (ugly and pretty)
Keeps no secret.
Allows you go through his phone, etc.
Introduces you to his family and friends.
Patient/learns to be patient with you.
Calls you regularly(if he can afford it)
And others wink wink
Romance › Re: What 3 Qualities Do You Desire In Your Mate by Kashif(m): 1:51pm On Dec 02, 2006
I think we ought to have started with the qualities we can't hang out with because after all these sing-sing, we still find ourselves entangled with a different personality (especially women) undecided

For me, I can't tangle with an ugly daft grin

On the matter of a stimulant. NO MAN will always have the energy to deal properly with his lover. sometimes you gotta have help. not saying you should depend on it. but you should know when you require it.
Fa fa fa,, foul!! There are still men who need no stimulant to satisfy their mates, quote me. Coming to talk about it, some are even battling with excessive libido!! shocked

Education › Re: Do I Tear My 2.2 And Forge A First Class Degree? by Kashif(m): 10:44am On Nov 28, 2006
Chitexy_2,

I would love to know what you are earning as a first class graduate grin grin

Your reply was rude; ask God to give you a better attitude. Thausands of 1.1 and 2.1s are still job seekers years after serving. Sure, the grades get you an oppurtunity to write the tests but you must have to pass!! Its just that. If you can make a first class, it is coveted but remember,, it is not a measure of intelligence.

fynewaka,

Just fine-tune your CV's and make sure you are intelligent enough to pass your tests and interviews. Don't mind what you came out with; it does not matter where you start but where you finish. It could be very traumatic when you realise that you are better than some 2.1 holders but what do you do? Develop your skills and trust God. We all have our stories, cool cool

Computers › Re: Parity Code by Kashif(m): 1:30pm On Nov 27, 2006
In addition to the first person pasted, parity code is used in parity check. Odd or even parity check could be used. I odd parity, the system (in handshake) makes sure that the number of 1s (mostly) in the byte or word sums up to an odd number. If it is even parity, the number of the signals (1 or 0) being checked must sum up to an even number.

The problem with parity check however is that if a single code is used as parity and the error comes in two same digits types, the system would not be able to detect it!

Example, if 11010011 is being transmitted from point A to B and one odd parity code is being used, point B will receive 11010011. But check out if something happens on the transmission line and 11010011 is mutated to 11111011, the parity check will fail to detect it! Let me help you to guess why,, the byte still contains an odd number of 1s!! If this does not make sense, kindly revert.

Actually, the more the parity codes, the better the error check but in summary, parity checks are not very reliable. smiley

Be as wise as the serpent!

Try and understand your partner before sharing your world with him. Nobody knows how to react correctly to all circumstances.

Anyway, they say a woman's heart is a deep ocean of secrets; it all depend on what you want him to know (I am sure you wn't tell him everything). Just be on the guard kiss kiss

Dear All,

My sincere opinion is that Balogun or whatever he represents is just trying to pull your legs; so don't take him seriously. I mean, how could a sane man be advertising his mediocrity in that manner? I am almost sure that email address is not even working. JUST IGNORE HIM.

But, if by accident or design, what he typed reflects his real need/feeling then,, he is in a terrible problem and needs collective deliverance! cry cry

Sani,

It is a pity OE does not support web assess. If you need to check your mails out of your domain, then get Microsoft Outlook installed and configured properly. This comes with OWA (Outlook Web Assess) functionality.

Enjoy cool
Computers › Re: Can Virus Damage A Network Card (NIC)? by Kashif(m): 2:26pm On Nov 02, 2006
alexis,

Yes, the NIC is at the datalink and not the network layer but, the MAC (Media Access Control) address is a unique hard-wired HEX number which I don't think could be overwritten. Remember that no two NIC's in the world have the same MAC addy.

During spoofing, the attacker tries to alter the packet header to hide/impersonate a sender. This is not the same as altering the MAC address.

aadewale wants to know if his NIC is damaged (not hampered); to which I still maintain that if so, then it is not likely from the virus or any malware.

You be correct guy. Keep it up kiss kiss

An organisation that is made up of people from a particular tribe no doubt, has a policy in place NEVER to employ otherwise. Let's stop deceiving ourselves. I think objectivity should be a standard here. wink

dakmanzero:
this is such nonsense.

people, if you get a Bank job, take it.

In Nigeria, we have one choice: employment or unemployment. And most self-employed will NEVER earn as much as bank employee earns, even owning their own businesses.

Keep your skill alive by updating yourself. The money and internet access you get from ure bank job will do that for you. PLUS if you are a marketer the sky is the limit for you.
dakmanzero,

I think you are overwhelmingly happy with your bank job. A goal achieved is joyful to the heart. It is possible you have been dreaming to be a banker all your life. There is no doubt; it is written all over your expression. CONGRUTULATIONS!!!

If you say most people who are self-employed will NEVER earn as much as bankers,, you have been beclouded! Be self-employed and enjoy unlimited growth. They are paying you 20 mill, they are paying you 30 mill, somebody is paying you out of what you are making for him! Have you ever imagined marketing your own brand/services? It gets you thinking because you will be responsible for you actions; @ ur pace. I am employed presently but my dream is to become and employer. Be smart dude.

The truth is that no matter what you are paid, it is about 40% of your worth. Ask professionals. I know a former employee of Vmobile (now Celtel) who was earning 1 mill monthly. He left even after his employers agreed to make it 1.2! He is now into event management and is making real money.

Big boys/girls don't depend on their employers for internet connection; they get connected themselves! I mean it is not too expensive. Try one and see the liberty.

Banks are undoubtedly the greatest employers of labour in Nigeria today and I really thank God for them. That does not mean there is no survival without the banks.

You appear to be an aggresive marketer so'll do well if you own your business!

Cheers cheesy cheesy cheesy
Career › Re: Access/Marina/Capital Banks to Sack All Polytechnic & State University Graduates by Kashif(m): 4:25pm On Oct 26, 2006
It is really astonishing to see people reacting the way they do! One thing is sure: Being a first class graduate from Fed Uni simply demonstrates your ability and willingness to spend more time on the reading table. It shows you can be very hardworking and dedicated but, it is not a measure of intelligence!

For me, I see people who are struggling so much to "update" their academics as those who what to be first class 'slaves' (excuse my language). We all have our driving forces but I think the intelligence lies in one's ability to survive excellently without being on a payroll.

You made 1/2 class, 1st class, 2nd class or even 'graduate attempted'! How high is your IQ? I have seen those without good academic backgrounds with stunning intelligence!

After all said and done, who and who are Access bank employing now? Put your ears to the ground. grin grin
