Personally I don't feel comfortable when someone washes my clothes... I pretended to be OK with it for a while when I got married but 3months after I told my wife to stop washing my clothes, I do it myself not that she doesn't wash well but since I was li2 it's has been a thing for me... Am also a gud cook even my wife preferred my food to her own but since she started taking advantage of it I don't enter kitchen again except when I feel like treating myself to a special meal...... Some women like domesticated guys, some don't while some takes advantage of it which mostly backfired...

Just two years of marriage and a daughter me n my wife can stay up to 3weeks or 1month without sex... Am 33 n she's 29 and she has never for once made a move towards me even when we were dating so I believe it's her nature but as time passes now.. Please I need help on what next to do, Originally I was in Batch A but during the call up just like others I was told to wait till July for my orientation course but the problem is that my middle name was mistyped and since April I have requested for correction of name but nothing change, so I was mobilized with Batch Strm 1 but on getting to the camp i was denied registration due to the error in my name and asked to contact my school which I did and the school has sent a mail to info@nysc.gov.ng twice but still nothing changed I missed out camping with d strm 1, now another button has been added to the dashboard for removal/adding of name which people with similar case like mine were asked to use to rectify their problem but after trying it keeps saying " change not not save make sure u don't have a pending request " today is d last day of registration and yet my issue hasn't been resolved I don't know anyone that can help ..that's why am here please ..what should I do? I don't want to miss out on d coming orientation course again please.. I need anyone that can help in any way...thank

This is a sensitive issue, am married so some of my exes and some of them still keep in contact with me whenever they need me especially when it comes to der health due to my line of work though my wife is not always happy with it ... Personally I won't mind my babe's ex to help her get a job but what I won't accept is her keeping it a secret from me, but since she has opened up to u I think u should keep calm watch out.....

I went to register for my national ID card yesterday after 2hours of waiting when it got to my turn I was told because my state of origin is Lagos I should go n get a letter of Intro from my Local Government despite having my Voters car and other personal documents with me....I just don't understand d way some things works in this country......and I too a great risk from work by going for dat nonsense

3. Surah Al-Ahzab (The Confederates)

In the Name of Allah, The Most Gracious, Most Merciful

1. O Prophet (Muhammad )! Keep your duty to Allah, and obey not the disbelievers and the hypocrites (i.e., do not follow their advices). Verily! Allah is Ever All-Knower, All-Wise.

2. And follow that which is inspired in you from your Lord. Verily, Allah is Well-Acquainted with what you do.

3. And put your trust in Allah, and Sufficient is Allah as a Wakil (Trustee, or Disposer of affairs).

4. Allah has not put for any man two hearts inside his body. Neither has He made your wives whom you declare to be like your mothers' backs, your real mothers. [Az-Zihar is the saying of a husband to his wife, "You are to me like the back of my mother" i.e. You are unlawful for me to approach.], nor has He made your adopted sons your real sons. That is but your saying with your mouths. But Allah says the truth, and He guides to the (Right) Way.

5. Call them (adopted sons) by (the names of) their fathers, that is more just with Allah. But if you know not their father's (names, call them) your brothers in faith and Mawalikum (your freed slaves). And there is no sin on you if you make a mistake therein, except in regard to what your hearts deliberately intend. And Allah is Ever Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

6. The Prophet is closer to the believers than their ownselves, and his wives are their (believers') mothers (as regards respect and marriage). And blood relations among each other have closer personal ties in the Decree of Allah (regarding inheritance) than (the brotherhood of) the believers and the Muhajirun (emigrants from Makkah, etc.), except that you do kindness to those brothers (when the Prophet joined them in brotherhood ties). This has been written in the (Allah's Book of Divine) Decrees (Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz)."

7. And (remember) when We took from the Prophets their covenant, and from you (O Muhammad ), and from Nuh (Noah), Ibrahim (Abraham), Musa (Moses), and 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary). We took from them a strong covenant.

8. That He may ask the truthfuls (Allah's Messengers and His Prophets) about their truth (i.e. the conveyance of Allah's Message that which they were charged with). And He has prepared for the disbelievers a painful torment (Hell-fire).

9. O you who believe! Remember Allah's Favour to you, when there came against you hosts, and We sent against them a wind and forces that you saw not [i.e. troops of angels during the battle of Al-Ahzab (the Confederates)]. And Allah is Ever All-Seer of what you do.

10. When they came upon you from above you and from below you, and when the eyes grew wild and the hearts reached to the throats, and you were harbouring doubts about Allah.

I have a double barrelled name ( both parents ) so does my mother. She did not change her name she added my father’s name to hers. The same for both grandmothers. That’s us it’s not common.
Coverture Law is one reason this applies to any English speaking country including former colonies. It’s not practiced in Spanish, French speaking countries or some Asian countries. From an African perspective how else can you be identified if it were not for your name? You leave your father’s home and become part of his family, their wife, daughter and mother so the name is changed too. According to Sinnah it’s prohibited for a Muslim woman to change her name after marriage.

I don’t see a Nigerian man taking his wife’s s surname do you? In this country a name is everything it opens doors or closes them shut.

Please don't misguide people here wish part of Quran or Hadith said that?...don't get it twisted in Islam its no compulsory to change name which means u can keep ur father's name if u wish to
