Forgive my ignorance but do you guys know something we don't? As far as I'm aware, there is no "Dragon horn". If you are talking about the horn of Joramun (the one Mance Rayder had), There is no connection between that horn (which admittedly has magical properties) and dragons.

I am piling all yhe episodes to be watcjed back to back. Ive left the GOT thread for now so no spoilers though braniacx tries to tempt me. Lol.

When you finish A song of ice and fire try the top 25 fantasy books ever written.

I've read the name of the wind and wise mans fear.

Then I read this story of nine fingers 3 books. Can't remember the name. It was readable but not fantastic.

Currently reading the gentlemen bastards series. They are quite good. Very good in fact.

Sound like nice reads, will check em out. You buy hard or soft copy? I trying to build my hard copy/hard cover book library... not many good book shops around my end.

I find Euron greyjoy act in cersei's court rather bland . A better actor should have been casted for his role.

I feel like its his physical presence...

He delivered quite excellently IMO, with just the right body language and panaché. But he doesn't really scare, you know? Tywin never EVER smiled and you could feel the power in his voice. Geoffery looked exactly what he was - a wicked, wicked little sh!t; and Ramsay had the nastiest, meanest smile in all of GoT, you could almost see the psychosis in his eyes. But this Euron, i dunno... you look at him and it's just this chubby-faced guy who looks like he needs a shave. He certainly talks tough sha, but I'm not feeling it yet.

Let's how he's character and personality grows sha, i may yet be surprised.

It will be extremely out of character for Rhaegar to have kidnapped or raped Lyanna. He wasn't a savage brute like his father or the average Westerosi man.

Its amusing the things we overlook when we like somebody...

Do you know that Rhaegar was married with a child when he kidnapped/eloped with Lyanna Stark? Do you know that Rhaegar's dear wife, Elia Martell, was in the stands watching while Rhaegar rode by after winning the tournament to crown another man's fianceé as his queen of love? What kind of husband does that to his wife with the whole world looking on? Tell me, if you were Prince Oberyn watching from the stands while Rhaegar shamed your sister like that, how would you feel?

See eh, i won't tell who to like or not like, i just want to you understand that your handsome charming Rhaegar probably wasn't really aswonderful as you think.

No one is certain, you say... and yet you sound so sure that she was not kidnapped. You've just contradicted yourself, bruv.

What is certain is that:
(1) she disappeared about just after the tourney at Harrenhal... where Prince Rhaegar broke etiquette to crown her Queen of Love;
(2) she was found at the tail end of the war being guarded/protected by 3 members of the King's Guard who had last been seen months before with Rhaegar.
These only are certain... and they neither prove nor disprove that she was not kidnapped.

Well.... i've read further on in the book, and around pg408 Tyrion witnesses Pycelle reporting on a crowmail from Bowen Marsh detailing same things the Liddle had mentioned to Bran. Bowen had mass-written the same letter to all the warring kings (which Tywin didn't find amusing at all), and probably to the main houses too (I'm guessing that here). So maybe, maybe, the Liddle did have a source for the news... but it's really quite a long stretch.

But i still have questions popping up... For instance, why would the Liddle of House Liddle be traipsing around alone in such horrible weather with a bag full of confectionery? cheesy

As for if he'll be someone important in future, i really couldn't say - it's easier to predict the weather than to predict GRRM - I'm just saying he doesn't add up.

I think he's a Lidde, with the sigil and all. What he meant was that, Sam forgot to write any messages before releasing the ravens to Castle Black.

He didn't really bear the sigil, just the pinecone cloak clasp. Still doesn't explain how he knew that the Old Bear had taken his crows into the Haunted Forest, or for that matter how he knew that the ravens came back with no messages when none of the main northern houses knew.

When they woke the next morning, the fire had gone out and the Liddle was gone, but he’d left a sausage for them, and a dozen oatcakes folded up neatly in a green and white cloth. Some of the cakes had pinenuts baked in them and some had blackberries. Bran ate one of each... One day there would be Starks in Winterfell again, he told himself, and then he’d send for the Liddles and pay them back a hundredfold for every nut and berry.

Is the Liddle really the Liddle? And if he was, how would he be knowing about so much on both sides of the Wall?
