Methinks the director of this show is cray cray and I hate the emerging pattern. Something bad-- with a nasty shock value has to happen that ends up with a woman suffering. Nah, I don't like that...
They needn't have bothered with all the scenes involving Stannis affirming his love for Shireen only to come kill her for nothing!
Unless emotionally manipulating the audience is the new IT...

Which of these have more legitimacy, scripts written by the TV producers that are endorsed by George RR Martin himself or stuff posted by some overweight 30 something year old man living in his mother's basement?

You need to come to terms with the fact that the TV show is what it is, it is not an improvement or ridicule of the book story...

I am yet to see any episode of season 5, i dont have the patience to wait and wait!
But i just saw comments on their fb page, about episode 8 so much praise for it,
Moreso i heard jon snow is actually not Neds bastard, but they say Jon snow is a Targaryen! Wow i cant wait to start season 5!!

Brightroar of House Lannister lost about hundreds of years ago before the conquest. Blackfyre and Darksister of House Targaryen (i dont know what happened to them). Vigilance of House Hightower. Orphan Maker(forgotten the House). And so on. There's also a valyrian steel arakh by some sellsword. The thing is we haven't encountered or heard of them in the show. But there are more than three. Tywin tried to buy from minor lords but, they'd rather give up their daughters.
