Its not really out of print yet; some secondary schools still recommend it. I think you can still get it at some text-book stalls/shops in any main town market. Read the book couple a years back; coined a new name for it too - "Puppy-love in Christ"

My boss is an ass-hole, a freekeen fokeeng ass-hole. Oh that I had the guts to do it, I'd grab that ass-leekeeng bastard by the jewels and bash his rat-turd motherfokeeeng ho-delivered grey matter to blastered smithereens. I always knew this would happen, that a day would come when my fragile ego would be dragged through the mud. But nobody ever let on that it'd be this  . . . this motherfokeeng ass-wipe who would do it. Jeez, I respect this bastard - used to respect, I mean. God, that was a low thing he did, base, diabolic, diablo-inspired, devil-instinct-construed. . . hot-damn!

I know wht I'm goona do. I'm going to walk up to him, right up to his kpomo-stuffed mug, eye-ball to eye-ball, and tell him to take his stinking, miserly, 8-5 job, and shove it up that dark, stuffy part of his posterior where the sun don't shine. Yes, that's what I'ma do. Serve him right too, that bloody mean, squinting, Godforsaken, cheap-ass, posterior-leekeeng, mother-foging, 'anu-ohia' of a human-being.

Ok Cayon, here's my view: Tell your friend she's has to trash her little pink book's Rules of Engagement; you are dealing with a human being, not a programmed machine. Tell her she has to take a few chances in life - hell, life doesn't get exiciting until you take a few risks. C'mon girl, you don't bounce a bloke just because he didn't score all A's in the Initial Assessment test; humor him a while until you have a REAL reason to dislike him. Dude might have some good qualities buried under all that swagger . _{But Cayon, hope say you no dey take style collect advice here; no bounce your guy lik dat-o!}

Last thing, this is not a Romance Help thread; its RANT Central. Folks don't offer advice here; they rant - you know, swear and scream and shower spittle in the air!!

It was like three months ago when Seun asked for views on a further sub-division of the Literature section. I replied with a suggestion to create a second child-board (the first was "Poems" for Short Stories and Drama; I even went as far as explaining that this would rhyme with the main genres of Literature: prose, poetry and drama. Unfortunately, Seun didn't think so. And so, here we are. I was quite stunned at first, but since I had no stakes in the Nairaland enterprise, I decided to keep my thoughts to myself.

In my opinion - and no disrespect is intended here - literary affairs aren't exacty Mr. Seun's fort; otherwise, with a child-board titled "Writers: Post Your Stories, Scripts, and Poems Here For Review", what is the main board supposed to contain? Literary chit-chat? I'm guessing his reason was to stem the compunction of most posters to post their poems on the main board, but obviously it isn't working. There really isn't any order any more.

Oh man, V, can't you figure out why i don't post that often?? Its because - and please don't tell anybody else - because half the time I don't have anything worth saying to say. I mean this isn't like Blaze's rant thread where you can just post any shit that comes to your head - no disrespect to ariblaze-san . And what's more: after SMC and stillwater, you and Sisi have the most incisive minds in Lit-NL (in my opinion, anyway), though Sisi has a "round-the-mulberry-tree" way of making her point which more often than not leaves her audience a little winded. So you see, a body has to watch he says around you two.

Tell you what V; you come up with a cure for my persistent "poster's block", and I'll amp-up my postal frequency. What say you?
