Did you know that under Buhari's administration, Nigeria signed a pact to export unrefined crude oil to other countries and then import the finished products afterwards? This 1984 news article from The New York Times lays it bare! Brazil Wins Nigeria Pacthttp://www.nytimes.com/1984/03/14/business/brazil-wins-nigeria-pact.html |
hayatou27:I'm not just talking about PTF, you f0cking cattle-rapiing m0r0n. What did Buhari do in all his 2 years as head of state? Why is there NO SINGLE legacy project in his name? This man receives an annual pension of 300 million naira. What has he done for his community in all the years? How many people has he sent to school on scholarship or any charity programs? Keep supporting that old man, but keep your idiotic self off my mentions, you filthy, nauseating savage! |
opyscol:Obviously, you didn't attend any school at all, since you lack the intellect to argue out your point without childish insults. Wretched brain-dead bastard. |
focus7:Well, the "Sai Buhari" tale was also another empty lie, because what the crowd chanted was "Sai Wali", the name of the PDP Governorship candidate for Sokoto - Abdallah Wali. |
Ceo4eva will continue to cause heartache to the APshits. These dumbshits were talking about the crowd being 'empty', so what is this now? |
popcykaylah:And have you asked about the foolish men in your various state government houses pauperizing you and cornering their state allocations straight to their bank accounts? Have you asked about the government closest to the people - The LOCAL GOVERNMENT - and what they have been doing with the money sent to them. Honest question: Do you even know your L.G.A. Chairman? Answer me with all honesty. When you fail to ask the valid questions, you will never know how to overcome your predicament. You're more busy hollering about Abuja and the presidency while your corresponding governors rob you blind. Talk about setting the cart before the horse. Una never serious. |
Just check out the grammatical blunders coming from the SUG. I'm no grammar nazi, but I sure expected better from an organisation that should represent the student body's cream of the crop. UNIBEN died in the 90's. Let's say the truth. |
Another shot of Sokoto https://pbs.twimg.com/media/B7ulECkIgAAbvNt.jpg Damn! Hunger don finish these almajiris! ![]() Meanwhile, Buhari's daughter comfortably lives and studies in the UK... https://cdn1.jaguda.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/zahra-buhari-1.png ...while her father never bothered to build a single academic institution to help his people in all his combined 6 years as PTF chairman and head of state. Wow. |
ilugunboy:Dude, Goodluck is not Igbo, and not our "son". We just don't like you. Nothing personal. ![]() |
CaptainCodes:The only thing that was ridiculed today was your credibility. Take correction and let it go. |
ilugunboy:Stop speaking for the South East. We voted GEJ last time, and will give him 100% this time. |
OrlandoOwoh:You're not deaf. You're biased. |
Mike Godson Ifeanyichukwu, i n'ara nwanyi toro gi? Aru!!! |
Sugar mommy Ini Edo is fast becoming a cougar. |
OrlandoOwoh:They were screaming "SAI WALI". Abdallah Wali is the PDP guber candidate for Sokoto. I watched it too. Take correction. |
APC people lie too damn much! God!!! This is becoming a real problem. Even medical. |
MichaelSokoto:Bros, they were screaming "SAI WALI", the name of the governorship candidate for the PDP in Sokoto! Please take correction and let it go! I understand why it's easy to mix "Wali" and "Buhari" up since both words rhyme to an extent, and it's only human to do so after all. But still sitting there and trying to defend your gaffe just worsens your case. Let it go, dude. |
Mr TBaba1234, that's an OPINION PIECE written by a JUMOKE BALOGUN as an independent contributor, and does not reflect the opinions of the Huffington Post journalists. It's just like I can make a contribution in that site as well. Are you really this dull? |
Seun:As usual. It runs in the veins of APC members. |
That last paragraph was a real knockout! LMAO! ![]() |
This is real "Issue-based campaign". ![]() |
This Fayose guy cracks me up!Ekiti voted comedy. |
Searching Kano. |
I smell lies. Even the story reeks of fabricated tripe. Who has "Igwe Nwafor" as a name to begin with? I can boldly tell you that "Igwe" is never used as a first name anywhere in SE, and I stand bold to say this story was probably concocted by a desperate northerner who cooked up a fake stock name (from watching Nollywood films) to help give his watery story more depth, just like I could cook up a name like "Ademola Olugbenga" if I wanted to write trash and make it appear legitimate. I'd take this lame story with a pinch of iodine-deficient salt. |
Fela Kuti, after Buhari's soldiers 'diversified' him. |
barcanista:And the point I am making is that for a country to be a global competitor, it must do away with the restrictive quota system and embrace a little bit of Darwinism. Only then can merit truly be appreciated. But then again, I wouldn't expect a WAEC holder like Buhari to know anything about merit after all. |
dguyindcorner:Your reply is empty and unintelligent, and disregards logic itself. Please, have a seat. |
barcanista:This right here underscores yur hypocrisy in the wider scheme of things. So, you don't care about a northern child gaining admission over a clearly better performing Southern kid, but at the same time you say you want "improved standard of education"? So, it never hit you that the regional imbalance and injustice itself sets off a chain reaction that kills determination on the part of the teachers. "Why work hard to teach my students well when I know they'll still gain admission even with their low scores?" That, right there, is a policy that does not encourage hardwork on the parts of both the students and the teachers. Did you miss that part? As for the oil blos in the Niger Delta, I can't remember when Buhari awarded oil bloc to anybody. In fact, the elite don't like him because their interests will not be considered at the expense of the public. As for ND, the PIB and resource control will take care of that. I won't go further but I know we will get to our destination.I wasn't talking about oil blocs but allocation itself. Take correction. |
dguyindcorner:By us, I meant Nigeria as a whole. But unlike you, I did not come out implying I knew what Nigerians would vote by making a statement as "Nigerians are wiser now". Yours gives the impression you're in the minds of all Nigerians and know for sure they'll vote Buhari. Capisce? |
dguyindcorner:You mean like these guys, right? : https://pbs.twimg.com/media/B7OWUDFCUAAL9TX.jpg That right there is a newspaper headline from 1985, during Buhari's administration. You'd better research before talking, lest you embarrass yourself here. |
barcanista:You just made no sense. It is very simple, whoever desire to make excessive profits on commodity have no business in Nigeria. A capitalist state create two class of group, the Very rich and the Very poor. The Very rich make their money at the expense of the very poor. Muhammadu Buhari policy was to ensure that business owners don't circulate poverty to the masses just for them to make more money. Again, it is a welcome development!!!Well, newsflash: Any serious-minded country that plans to become an economic giant must thrive on fairness, hardwork, delayed gratification and a meritocratic ethos, not ROBIN HOOD theatrics. It is this same logic of "bridging the gap" that has led to great disenfranchisement of Niger-Deltans where a lot of their oil profits are carted off to the North simply because "those people are poor", as well as the unfair Unity school cut-off marks where a boy from Yobe with a score of 2 gains admission before a boy from Anambra with a score of 135, simply because the north is "educationally disadvantaged". If you want a strong, competitive country, you must create a LEVEL-PLAYING field where everyone lives by their own sweat and hardwork! |
