modskiller: okay here it is, I applied for admission but was denied because they wanted a minimum of C5, but I had C6, though so many peeps asked me to apply to another school, but it's the one I can easily afford for now since I'll be the one paying. So when I applied and was denied due to the result, I asked if I can forward my neco exam details, and they said yes. But I'm kinda worried cos I sent my secondary school transcript, and it indicated the name of the secondary school I attended, but the neco exam has the name of another school where I did the exam not as an external, but I registered as an internal student. Cos I think it will indicate attending 2 secondary schools.

There is nothing like internal or external on the result, its only d dates that the exam was taken. And since the result will be carrying different dates it shouldn't b a problem.

ValerieXO: The property really doesn't have to belong to your sponsor to serve as a home tie. Actually any property (of your sponsor) that you present with your application will only serve as proof of financial capability, not home tie. The only time property can serve as home tie is if it is yours, or if you are the next of kin of whoever owns it.

Can your dad properties serve as home tie?

PlayPays: I'm not here to argue, Only here to advice peeps with the little pieces I know. Canada doesn't do interview unless if required which means with every document you submit you're passing a message to your VO.
It was on here someone chop trv with just N1.5m soa but if anybody ask us we will all say it's too small. Every applicant case is different before a VO just as we all men have different fate. We all have different understanding if you think landed documents of someone who isn't your sponsor is okay in a app then good idea but I think otherwise doesn't mean mine it's bad idea.

Whether u like it or not, adding your dad's assets to your application whether he his the sponsor or not will be an added advantage!

Im about submitting my Trv application tomorrow at the VFS centre ikeja,
im going in with 3 SOA,
my dads own coy SOA- N33m (account in coy name)
my dads personal SOA- 2m (account in dads name)
my dads dorm SOA- $6k (account in dads name)
And my school is Red River College, Wpg MB.
With tuition fee of $9300/yr.

Also theres a letter from the company, (sponsorship letter/reference), i want to know if my available SOA's are gonna fly

pls do not forget to include your dad's business registration documents.
Financially you are okay , but make sure you look into other things.

I would've recommended the case-specific link, but it's currently under maintenance.Include your details in the mail, such as date of birth and numbers that identify your application. They will get it but they won't reply, just an auto response.

hello pls, can someone pls recommend the cheapest schools to study Accounting in Canada. my younger one just got an admission that is 17k per year for 4yrs. We all can't afford that for her, and I have been searching unsuccessfully for a cheaper one since.
Somebody that knows should pls b generous enough to suggest one or two pls.

Presenting the statement of account is to show that you are financially independent or to support your proof of employment. And not to show ability to sponsor yourself.

charlesbussyyahoocom: Thanks to you all for ur concern, just to say a little,we started the whole processing july 31 last year after which I filled skill immigrant form and working permit form i sent it to him the necessary documents he requested for,then he told me that is going to took him 3months and when it was 9th week he asked me to go for my vaccination test which I did,and when it 31/2 months he said my document was rejected due to the fact that I av inadequate working experienced,he gave me options then,weather he shld return my money or he should do it again,I asked him to do it again but this time he didn't requested for any money,and we have been on it since december,we do chat and call when the need be,he said that he want to make sure that everything is successful before he could say anything...now he said my document has been approved and dispatch to Nigeria now he said I should keep my eye on the address that I filled inside my forms,but then I didn't go for any medical test or biometric whatever cos he never ask me to do so, but now my question is are they going to take my document to house address or my P.O Box or they will call me ? Or I shouldn't expect anything @all with my explanation ? Pls people help my unbelieve. And more also I will like to know the medium of dispatching the document whenever is approved.

Sorry to say it, you fell to this your guy too cheaply and totally, because he his not even a smart person. someone else would have let you gone through all the the processes like biometrics, medicals etc even if he had no input or assistance to add to its success.
However, I ll suggest you still play along and get whatever he his sending to you if he is actually sending anything truly and see the lies/package.
I can still say you are lucky cos its likely you don't have any record with the Canada authority that can affect your future application.
visit www.cic.gc.ca yourself and read through it , you will know the one you can easily exploit to achieve your Canadian dream either it the student or skilled application route.
Even if you ll need assistance along the line you can always ask questions here and you ll b equipped with adequate information about the whole process that you cant fall easy prey to anybody.

Here's the break down, I co-authored an abstract with my lecturer and it was accepted for presentation at the conference. We've both made payments for the conference and have a lot of supporting papers from the school. As for him he doesn't need much papers as he has a valid 4yrs US visa on his passport and he's been to the USA 3 times without eloping, but on my part I have a letter of introduction from my college, he invitation letter, school transcript and all other documents , but my question to the forum is, my father is supposed to be my sponsor and show proof of funds with his statement of account but he's current out of town and can't get me the statement but he did sent me 700k for the conference and I have about 400k of my own personal cash in the account. Is it okay to present my statement of account with an account balance of about 1.2m? Pls someone should help me ASAP I plan to go to the vfs office with my don today. Thanks

I think you have a very good chance of success in your application provided you do not allow any loophole for flimsy excuse for refusal.
Most importantly your school supporting documents should be tight.
It would have been better if your dad has not sent the 700k to your account, but at it is now you will need to explain to them that the money was transferred to you by your dad to sponsor d conference.
it ll be very fine if your dad can send you a letter of authorisation by email to his bank to collect his bank statements .
Your dad can also send you a letter of sponsorship by e-mail, then if you have access to his business documents u can had it to be water tight.

Pls note, Visa officers does not usually look for reason to approve a visa, but good excuse to refuse.

Sorry your question up here lack so many information to really understand and know how to advice you. If you are applying for any kind of visa, you ll also be getting information from the embassy or visa application center not just a friend in Canada alone. it is either there is fraud somewhere or you are not giving adequate information about your application here.

It is most likely a refusal, you would have got a letter for medicals earlier if it is otherwise.
Go get your documents to know what really happened and the next line of action!

I have printed my personal statement of account. i have only 40k in the account. Also I have gotten the Payslip and employment letter from my employer , do I still need to explain the gap between my NYSC (2007) - now (2014) in my SOP. The only thing I did between is CCNA (2009) ? My sponsor's SOA is 7m as stated earlier. I hope I wont be shooting myself in the leg by providing my own SOA of 40k since I was denied due to my financial status ( Although my account has a lot of activities and with good figures) .

I ll suggest you include your bank statement irrespective of the balance since you are claiming to be in employment, and as far as you have a convincing sponsor, that should not really work against you.

That Canadian embassy rarely give student permit Visa except if the sponsor is your father. If you use any other person outside your father or brother. Be it your uncle or your cousins or maternal home cousin. Your chances are minimal, they will end up rejecting the person all the times. Please house could this be a true fact.

The point is you will agree that it is more believable that a parent is sponsoring the child than any other person. That fact is what make people being sponsored by their parents to record more success than others.
Having said that, if you present any sponsor with good money and believable reason for wishing to spend that much money on your education you are good to go!

Amefrica: My friend, you were a young guy going for Bsc, your dad is/was your sponsor - all your docs were straight up, they needed no explanation. Now, compare this to a 30yr old going for Bsc being sponsored by his uncle. Do not you think, an SOP is essential/needed? You got your TRV without submitting an SOP ain't a BIG deal!

Don't tell me you never knew an SOP could play a very vital role in/on someone's application. It did in my second application - just so you know.

Since "Day 1" SOP has always been optional, decision is not made solely on it, submit it if you so wish - an SOP can explain any document you can't provide at the time of your application.

Don't disregard the importance of a LOE/SOP. What worked for you might not work for others.

Some peeps application is so straightforward that no explanation is really needed. But some really need a convincing explanation e.g why someone is changing from an engineering background to medical line, or why a none family member will like to sponsor you etc.

So please try to know where you belong on this issue and act wise!
