Thank you for your contribution, even though you didn't address my question.[/quote

I am sorry not to have addressed your question earlier. My research about them is that if you have never been granted US tourist visa before , and you are gainfully employed in Nigeria your chances are always 50 50. Even if you quickly reapply if you so much believe that you are truly qualify , you may or may not be granted.

A friend of mine was refused sometimes ago and immediately he got home applied again with same information and he was granted. And I know someone that was refused 3 straight times withing short intervals.

Personally I ll recommend you go through the trend of people that want to have baby in us . and get some point there and let your wife give it a shot again.

Good morning my people.please I av a few questions.
I av a Tanzania visa dat was issue to me in march for 3months single entry. I was supposed to travel for a conference but couldn't come out of work location on time, so I missed it.
now I want to apply for US visa for a certification program in Orlando. will my not traveling to Tanzania affect my chances.
though the visa is still open,it will expire by June.

No. your not travelling to Tanzania will not affect you negatively.
Do not bother talking about the visa unless the VO notices it and asked why you didn't travel with the visa. Which you ll simply explain the reason y you were not able yo make the planned trip.

Just avoid the VO to think you got the Tanzania visa purposely cos you are planning to apply for US visa.

Nicesoul:

Morning all,

Interview took place today in Abuja and the outcome was negative. See below the script

VO: Good morning

US: Morning

VO: Why are you going to US

ME: My bro live and work in Maryland and he has been away for 9 years. Since his left the country, i have been married and have a child. He has not met my family and i believe this is an opportunity for his family to meet mine. Also, my wife is going to have a baby in the US.

VO: What do you do?

ME: I work as IT/Technical Support for XYZ company

VO: Why has your bro not visited you in Nigeria.

ME: It's difficult for him to travel because he has two jobs and also in University.

VO: To my wife; what do you do ma?

MyWife: I'm a stylist with interest in beads making. I also sell human hair.

VO: What will you do when you get to US?

MyWife: I'm going to have a baby and family visit.

VO: Why US? Why not go to somewhere else where child birth is cheaper?

MyWife/ME: My wife didn't give a satisfactory response to i cut in: Me: We chose US because we want quality child care. Also, the last time our family doctor visited Nigeria, he assessed my wife and advised she visit US and have her baby.

VO: Why cant the doctor come to Nigeria and treat your wife?

ME: He comes to Nigeria once in every year. We visited him during his visit. Also, he's based in US and a senior doctor in his hospital.

VO: Types continuously and the decision came.

He didn't ask about travel history, how much i earn, job description & etc.

Next plan:
I was thinking of reapplying immediately. Can we reapply as a family again or my wife alone should just go considering her health position? Left to me alone, i don't think i want to reapply again anytime soon.

Your sincere advise will be highly appreciated.

Regards

Despite the fact that I don't believe the VOs have a standard they follow in granting visa which you have not met up with. I was laughing at your response to why do you want to have your baby in US.

I think the VO knows that like 95% or more of people having babies in US are doing that for the baby to be granted citizenship.

I think he would have seen you a more sincere person if you spit it to thier face that because of their quality hospital and the possibility of the baby being granted American citizenship.

Just thinking loud, I don't no if I am wrong or right.

That's not the issue, if hellfire exists there's nothing me and you can do to extinguish it. Nobody is denying Christ here what we are saying is that it's not morally right for the type God or the personality we read in the Bible to burn his own creatures forever for a few years sin.
Maybe you don't that he himself condemned burning people and said he had no such intentions. Jeremiah 7:31.

Don't mind him/ her.

Instead to logically treat d question asked , he was busy saying why can't people use heaven and not hell.

But she ignore the fact that the bible clearly says that majority of people will go to destruction. I find it extremely difficult to sink it to my brain that a loving and merciful God ll burn majority of his creations in everlasting hell.

No, she didn't have to punish me for that long, that's because I changed.

What do you call a finite crime?

Guy, hold up. My mother is not God. I just told that story in responds to the illustration dorox used.
There's no way you can go about justifying eternal punishment.

God is not going to judge the sin or crimes of killing, stealing or raping, per say. What God will judge is a NATURE. There's the nature of God and there's the nature of Satan which keeps man prisoner and propels man to sin.

When Man fell, he changed sides. He adopted Satan as his master and dropped God's nature.
But God didn't leave him completely in the hands of Satan, that's why there's a way out, JESUS.

Apst Paul found himself possessing that nature of sin once, when he cried out, Christ heard him and gave him the new nature.
It's that New nature we need to access the kingdom of God and his Christ. Without that nature, even God can't help you. He can't go back on his words.

If you read Romans 7:16-21,23-25
Now if I do [habitually] what is contrary to my desire, [that means that] I acknowledge and agree that the Law is good (morally excellent) and that I take sides with it.

However, it is no longer I who do the deed, but the sin [principle] which is at home in me and has possession of me. For I know that nothing good dwells within me, that is, in my flesh.

I can will what is right, but I cannot perform it. [I have the intention and urge to do what is right, but no power to carry it out.]

For I fail to practice the good deeds I desire to do, but the evil deeds that I do not desire to do are what I am [ever] doing.

Now if I do what I do not desire to do, it is no longer I doing it [it is not myself that acts]

but the sin [principle] which dwells within me [fixed and operating in my soul].

So I find it to be a law (rule of action of my being) that when I want to do what is right and good, evil is ever present with me and I am subject to its insistent demands.

But I discern in my bodily members [in the sensitive appetites and wills of the flesh] a different law (rule of action) at war against the law of my mind (my reason) and making me a prisoner to the law of sin that dwells in my bodily organs [in the sensitive appetites and wills of the flesh].

O unhappy and pitiable and wretched man that I am!

Who will release and deliver me from [the shackles of] this body of death?

O thank God! [He will!] through Jesus Christ (the Anointed One) our Lord! So then indeed I, of myself with the mind and heart, serve the Law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin.

theres a nature of sin in man which needs dropping and a new nature in Christ taken up, without that, no hope for anyone who stands here wailing.
Before we justify hellfire, let's justify man's continuous rebellion against God.

Man is created with this our sinful nature. God can decide not to use Adam sin to punish billions of humans after him.

I guess you ll not like to use the sin of your first born to permanently punish the other siblings.

What if we look at it this way?
Am a mother, Angela is my daughter. I discover Angie pilfer, I call Angie in and tell her, my daughter, whatever I have is yours, anytime you need anything, come to me, pls don't take what belongs to others without letting them know. When they loose their stuff, it hurts them because they need their stuff. Even if it's mine, still tell me, I won't stop you from take g it, just let me know, beside stealing is very wrong, it brings shame and People would find it hard to trust you, and you need people to trust, pls my daughter don't again okay? Angie says, yes mummy.
But anytime Angie sees something and when no one is around, she will take it. Little by little it grew. When she was too young to understand the consequences, I talked to her, repeatedly. When she grew older I spanked her for others to see am not condoning her pilfering. Yet, this child won't stop. Everyday neighbours cry out because Angie haven followed their kids to their houses Angie had stolen their money.
My home is now known as a home of thieves. Now anytime something gets missing, all fingers are pointed towards my house.
One day, I couldn't take it anymore, I wear my shorts and tie my wrapper firmly on top of it and say, Angie today go be today. Enough of the embarrassment and shame then I get down on her real good. Call me whatever you like, that's your business.

Let me tell you something about my home. You do not, I repeat, do not, pick anything be it money or any other thing and bringing it home to my mother's house. When I was less than 10 was when I learned that lesson, I picked money,
No, I didn't steal it, I picked it, and I thought I was a good child so rough it back home a showed my mum, since it was the first time, My mum followed me to where I said I picked it, she said drop it there, I did, we went back home. Another time, I picked money again, I knew if I showed her, I was going to lose it, so I had it. I bought something with it and I was caught. Gracious Lord!!!! Till I leave this earth I won't forget what my mum did to me. What you described is minimal. She tied me up with a robe and actually put that pepper in my Anus and eyes and kept me in the hot sun, all the while screaming on top of her voice, no child of mine will be a thief. But I was crying and saying, I didn't steal it, she said, you will steal if you don't stop now.
When I was released, I advised myself against picking other things. Till this day, I don't pick things on the road.

How ll you see it if your mum judgement is to continue punishing you like you described above for the next 10 years?

I think what the op want you to justify is the fairness of punishing someone for eternity for a finite crime.

What kind of human beings give people jungle treatment? heartless human being I must tell you.

Unless someone pose a direct treat to my life , which I have to act in defence. I can't you cutlass on a fellow human , wheater a thief or not.

whenever I see people giving jungle justice to anyone irrespective of the crime , I see them worse than the person they are dealing with for the crime.
Crime / Re: Phone Thief's Hand Cut In Delta (pics) by kennycanny: 9:14am On Apr 21, 2016
weather the thief is a minor or not. It only takes a heartless human being to cut off another fellow hand because he was trying to steal a phone over the window.

A lighter punishment that will not cause this kind of permanent body damage is enough.

Unless you are truly a frequent traveler , it doesn't worth it. I ve gotten the 2 years UK visa twice, and on each occasion used it just once. I can imagine how much money I would have saved if I only applied for 6 months visa on the the two occasions.

greetings all. I have completed my ds160 form, submitted, I discovered that I have to add more info about myself on the form. I have filled another dss that my passport refused to upload.....keeps telling me there was an error in processing my passport. Take note that it is the same passport I used in the previous form, that I am still using.

Could it be that I cannot use same passport for two applications or what may be the problem??

please what should I do?

Unique? I'm lucky then. The more reason I know there is a God who loves me.
It was a 094****** that called. Could you believe that I asked the person that called to call me back after identifying himself; I was actually in the middle of something. We agreed to 2hrs time, which he did call 2hrs 2?mins.
Phone rang (same number)
Me : picked the call
VO: hello Mr xyz, are you free at this moment
Me: sure
VO: can you hear me clearly?
Me: positive
VO: you applied for UK visa....
Me: *cuts in* actually for me and my entire family members
VO: great! How long will you be staying in the UK?
Me: 10nites between 24th March to 3rd of April
VO:what line of biz is your coy into?
Me: replied*
VO: okay. What are your intinery
Me: as for me, a tour of the Stamford Bridge will be a dream come true and my children and wife as more than necessary places of call ranging from the Buckiham Palace, Windsor castle, ZSL London zoo, the Coca-Cola London....
VO: *cuts in* I c. What of the emirates stadium (giggling)
Me: you must be kidding right? Ain't got no money to throw on that edifice. By the way, you must be an Arsenal fan right? (me just ask to create unnecessary familiarity u know)
VO: *ignore my rhetoric* how many staff do you have in ZYX coy?
Me; *wanted to inflate the no, but unconsciously, I said the thruth* Four of us
VO: who will u be staying with in Uk?
Me: we will lodge in hotel
VO: would you like to ask any question(s)
Me: hmmmnn.... Nothing really than are you an Arsenal fan?
VO: *giggled aloud* Yea
Me: *laugh aloud but cut-short by his next question*
VO: Do you KNOW anybody in the UK?
Me: *sternly* I know Nobody
VO: okay. Would you mind picking your passport this week?
Me: sure. I'm available.
VO: alright, we will get back to you. Bye (not sure if I had that 'bye' though before the line went dead).

Like wise, we had a smooth transition at the UKB. Though we spent almost 2hrs on queue, we spent just 3mins with the border police. He simply asked 2questions; the days we will spend and where we will stay. As per the place we will stay, I have a cousin who was to accommodate us, but I left him out of the picture coz, 1. I didn't want to bother him with documentation if he is to invite us. 2. Frankly I wasn't sure if his accommodation can contain another family of four which I presumed may affect our chances if not ample enough.
Having said that, I left the column for 'UK address' blank in the port of entry card given to us prior to landing. The border police had to use his pen write the hotel I mentioned for him when he asked where we will be staying.

Wao . you are extremely Lucky I must tell you. The VOs normally will always look for loop holes to refuse applicant. In fact they usually look for reasons to refuse applicants and not reasons to give.
On your case you gave them more than enough reasons to refuse you , but they were looking for reasons to grant you.

My Company acc is fat.
My personal account is also fat. I have up to 7m bal.

Should I use the personal account( does not show all money transfer from my company to my personal account, because some clients pay directly to my personal acc.)

or

should I use the company account

or should I use both?

Please friends guide me well. I want to know the documents to get ready.

can we put interview ds month not withstanding that we plan going in august?

Since you own both accounts, go with the two account statements. If you are lucky that your interview get to the level of presenting your account statement , you ll present both and explain details of both.

I agree with you , VO are highly intelligent people , they can easily spot lies. But I ll still maintain that so many genuine applicants are refused visa. That's Y its looks like baba ijebu. There is no formal standard of rating or Judging. Its more of at the sole discretion of the VO than what you are actually are.

Absolutely right @FrontPageLawyer.... He should have applied for the I-Visa (for media & Journalist)
Media visas are for "representatives of the foreign media," including members of the press, radio, film or print industries, whose activities are essential to the foreign media function, such as reporters, film crews, editors and persons in similar occupations, traveling to the United States to engage in their profession.

And if you already have a B1/B2 visa you need a permit....

WHY?
* Is this a commercial shoot?
* Will your filming disturb traffic or pedestrians?
* Will you need to use tripods, dollys, wires, a generator or other equipment on sidewalks or streets?
* Are you using the public space in a special/different way than it is intended?

If you answer yes to ANY of these questions, you likely need a permit.

Guess he applied for a wrong Visa. But dont you think the VO would have been kind enough to let him know he applied for a wrong visa

Or better still , how are they to go about it in payments and booking for interview appointment.
