Please keep quiet. The MSc holder was overqualified for the job. Did the MSc holder brag about furthering his/her education?

Maybe, you just cheaper to hire.

Don't make noise about worthless things, seek to develop yourself and stop bragging about getting a job ahead of a more educated person.

Finally, thank God for the opportunity provided to you.
Guy, you sound so much like a hater. Gosh!
Did you read this part of the post:

we were only two that were shortlisted for the post, in a multinational firm, as assistant General Manager.
The guy was simply being grateful to God and recounting something that can only be called a miracle, cos humanly speaking, it looks almost impossible. I didn't see any line in his post that appeared like bragging.
Why not just be happy for him?

You're rejoicing, thinking you knocked the guy out to get the job.
This maybe how God made him lose the job so he can get the oil company job that pays him 900k per month.
The guy will be sitting in his office laughing at you while you're here displaying your foolishness.
So what if the guy remains jobless in the next 2 years, or ends up with a job of 80k per month?

Mind you, oil companies are even retrenching workers now. Working there is becoming less lucrative now, and will even get worse. The era of bogus salaries and allowances is leaving the oil sector.

Happy new year to all Nairalanders, especially my few friends here like:

May this new year be the best year we've ever experienced, and may we go from grace to grace, and from glory to glory.

She Is Not That Tall. Those Two Girls Are Very Short.
She's very tall. The girl at the middle is at least 5' 2", while the other girl is around 5' 3". The huge girl is at least 1' taller than each of them, which puts her at a minimum height of 6' 2". That's taller than Obama, who is 6' 1". So my guy, the girl is very tall. She doesn't look that tall to you cos of her girth. If she were slim, she would have been like a pole.

Thanks for the name correction.

I think the mistake on the Minister's level was from the post you quoted. The ealier list I saw mentioned "Minister of State for Education", the one you quoted didn't. That mistake might not be from the President.

People don't understand the situation Buhari inherited. I hope this will shed some light on the situation and let them know that we are not alone in the mess.

The oil money was being looted and wasted by previous governments. Now there's is no money to loot neither to waste. This is a very hard times for the present Government to manage.

With this in mind, lets see how the government will steer us out of these turbulent waters
Even in countries where the money wasn't looted, are their economies better now?
The issue of Nigeria is failure to diversify the economy since independence, and that is not what you blame Jonathan for. All those other Nations like Venezuela, Saudi also have the same situation.
Buhari is only being blamed for his response to the present situation, and also looking at some aspects of the 2016 budget, especially with the 4bn naira BMW cars.

Hahahahaha. Prof Viola Onwuliri indeed. Is this GEJ's administration?
Sorry, it's Prof Anwuka from Imo State.
That notwithstanding, I was trying to point out that there is a difference between Minister of Education and Minister of State for Education, just like there is a whole lot of difference between President and Vice President.

The major shame is on you for lauding a road commissioned in the night in order to mask the fact that the distance 500m/ half of a km!! You aren't very bright otherwise it would have occured to you that something is off about it..

Never compare Aregbe & Fayose, Aregbe doesn't construct mini passerby, he constructs roads in tens of KMs with mini bridges on them!!

As for the salary argument, save it for your ilk who didn't know about Jonathan helping Fayose with ecological fund & unless the workers just got paid but as at 18th of Dec, 3 months salary arrears were being owed by the Ekiti state govt..

I'm in a good mood so I'll help you with a few pics,

Google osun mega schools. Ejigbo high school was commissioned on the 14th of november 2015!!! sad
Obviously, you don't know the difference between inspecting a project and commissioning a project. Did he commission the road or simply inspect it?

You talked about the fact that he went at night, are you visually impaired to see that he wanted to ascertain the functionality of the street lights?

Thank God Aregbesola has at least a project in his name after 5 years of ruling Osun State and impoverishment his people. He has made the government and people of Osun State the laughing stock of the nation.

For Fayose to do this in these hard times is a big plus on him and his administration.
Never forget that you and your ilks said he had never done any project in his one year tenure so far.

75%! His sincerity of purpose is second to none. He answered all the questions intelligently and maturely based on the amount of information available at his disposal.

As for those expecting a miracle from a 6 months old administration, they should branch at Synagogue for what they are looking for.
Answered all the questions intelligently and maturely? Then you didn't watch the media chat. It's that simple.

And for your information, the administration turned 7 months yesterday, and it's approximately 9 months since he won the election.

Shebi APC haters said he hasn't done any project since the inception of his administration. We've just seen that he carries on his projects without the usual media frenzy seen among APC governors.
Shame on APC haters like midolian, modath, Passingshot, NgeneUkwenu, Omenka, egift etc.
You guys should show us Aregbesola inspecting or commissioning any project in the last one year.

You're just rigmarolling, ministers are aides of the president because he appoint them constitutionally the same way he appoint the unconstitutional aides. Go and check the meaning of aide first before you confused yourself the more.
Are the Head of Civil Service, Accountant General, Comptroller General of Customs, DG DSS etc qualified to be classified as the President's aides too?
Are the Ambassadors the aides of the president too?
Are they appointed by the president or not?
Is it every appointee of the president that is an aide?

Go back to history and see how past government marginalized the North n even the Yorubas yet their patiently planned and responded with the 2015 election. #igbos are naturally greedy ppl and am happy we hv got a president with four balls!
Which past Presidents marginalised the north? Apart from Obj and GEJ, which other president/HoS wasn't a northerner?
Has the NW failed to have at least one of the top 4 positions in any government since 1999?
Yorubas traded their Speakership position in GEJ's tenure to strengthen the opposition. They cut themselves off GEJ's administration. Apart from that administration, tell me when else in the past they were alienated from government like Buhari did the SE people.

I know about Prof Anwuka from Imo State. You can't teach me what I know.
Minister of State isn't the same as Minister, and that's why Buhari made himself the minister of Petroleum while Kachikwu is Minister of State, Petroleum.

Young boy, ministers are part of president aides because they form the executive arm.
They are top government officials in charge of ministries, and are part and parcel of the Federal Executive Council. They are characteristically not grouped as the president's aides. I hope you won't tell me that the heads of FG departments and parastatals are also the president's aides.

The Minister of Education is Adamu Adamu. Is he Igbo? The so-called president doesn't even know his ministers.

They asked him about neglecting the Igbos when he appointed his aides and he was talking about minsters. Are the ministers the president's aides? Does he not understand what/who aides are?

Well, his accent messed up his statement, cos I didn't hear that word junior clearly. Even the guy I quoted didn't include the word there.
You will agree with me that it isn't so easy listening to him.

To be honest, the dullest presidents in media interviews have been Jonathan and Obj. Even Abaca was better than both. Jonathan treated the interviews as beer parlour discussion and Obasanjo was bullying. Buhari is very dangerously clear about his direction to those who have ears and common sense.
Stop inordinate consumption of foreign goods, learn a trade or skill, farm, develop yourself. No cheap designer goods except you pay high for them.
Jonathan might have been dull too, but I'm not here to compare them.
Buhari couldn't give a clear answer to almost any question he was asked. What kind of President is that? Then what's the essence of the media chat?

3. Infatuation has evolved just as much as technology and seems to come in the guise of love. (Hear that she's sleepin arnd and see if u feel d same way)

4. You need the sweetest form of maturity that wld never ever emanate from the bosom of an infant.

Well, I don't think such a relationship can last at all. She's just too young, and for now, her focus will be on her studies.

I pray God will give you the kind of girl you deserve, if your intentions are genuine. If not, be ready for real heartbreak.

It's not just about the cost of building the house. You also consider the cost of the land. The land on which the house stands may be worth over 80 - 100m naira.
Linda Ikeji's house was bought/sold for over 500m naira. Were you told the house alone was built for that amount?
Buhari's mansion in Asokoro is valued at over 2bn naira. Were you told it's just the cost of building the house?
I even remember seeing a big, uncompleted house sitting on about 2 plots of land in VGC, about 5 years ago or so. I was told it was for sale, and valued at 1bn naira.

MrsPhyno:
Ahem The romance section is either perverted or extremely boring these days, so I don come again with another one. grin

Anyways, one summer like this about 5 or 6 years ago, I was traipsing the streets of Lagos with my cousin. I was JJC (Justina Just Come grin) at the time and he was taking me to see his friends and buy things and all the stuff people do when they just get back to Lagos.
Of course since I'm more delicate than a plucked flower grin, the noise and insanity of Lagos traffic was really frightening to the baby me; I thought I would fall inside gutter or infront of a speeding okada man cry so my big cousin grabbed my hand and was leading me as we walked.
When we got to where alot of people were tho, he removed my hand from his and told me:
"Nigerians don't like people holding hands. It looks like PDA, and Nigerians don't like PDA".

So besides the fact that I almost fell inside gutter twice on our journey grin the comment he made stuck with me. Even when I had entered sec school, I was always careful not to hold anyone's hand or be wrapping myself all over anyone in public lest some market woman start throwing water at me or trying to beat me. To date I think the worst thing I have done in public in Lagos, is hugged someone. Cause I dey fear no be small grin
Finally, my question:
Why do we as Nigerians hate PDA (public displays of affection) and do you gather enough liver to for example, kiss in the street, in broad daylight?
As I see PDA, I think say na Patent Ductus Arteriosus. I come dey wonder why anybody go like PDA, wey be serious wahala. Thank God say you clear am. grin cheesy grin
