Nnamdi Kanu prophetic message in 2014 about Fulani invasion “As they campaign vigorously for elections, you would think, they are coming to grow the economy, enthrone justice, breed unity and tolerance, love for one another. “No, they are coming to enthrone Hausa/Fulani supremacy, to reposition the security agencies by sacking all competent hands and replace them with their kinsmen in order to drive their ethnic domination of the south. The Fulani herdsmen will be armed and encouraged to slaughter us with impurity and their masters will protect them. “They are coming to ensure that my people are enslaved forever. Those who do not believe me will soon see it happen before their eyes. “The Fulani will take over the entire south as a continuation of their age-long agenda to Islamize Eastern Nigeria. They will brazenly seize our land in pretence of creating grazing fields for the Fulani. Then the conquest will be complete, we will become their serfs forever.” Before the 2015 elections that: KANU says “Between Jonathan and Buhari, none is good for us. Freedom remains our only option, Jonathan is weak and confused, Buhari is a tyrant, who will destroy the land with his parochial view point. “His kinsmen will take over the military and the security architecture of the land. Christians and Easterners will become endangered species; He will use the security apparatus to advance the agenda of his ethnic group. My people will suffer”. Kanu had also predicated that a group deadlier than Boko Haram would be unleashed to the South to destabilise Eastern people and economy. “Then a group deadlier than Boko Haram will emerge, they will seize our farmland, rape our women, kill our people and their master will protect, defend and even arm them, because their sole agenda is to enslave us forever. “Those who cannot see it now, will soon see it. The hatred in their souls for my people is legendary. They do not see us as humans. They kill, they slaughter, they burn and they destroy. Mindless bloodletting is in their DNA. My people are in trouble”, -NNAMDI KANU. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/05/nnamdi-kanu-predicted-fulani-herdsmen-impunity-says-ipob/ |
An American personality has described Nigerian Pastor ‘T.B. Joshua’ as the ‘most powerful’ minister of God in the world. Despite the fact that Joshua is still viewed with animosity and suspicion within the fold of much of Nigeria’s Christian leaders, the cleric continues to receive accolades and acclaim abroad. “If you don’t know who T.B. Joshua is, you are missing out on the ministry of possibly the most powerful minister to this earth since the days of Jesus Christ,” wrote Leah Hanrahan, an American Christian, on Facebook. Citing Jesus’ statement in John 14:12 that “greater works” awaited believers, Hanrahan, who lives in Michigan, asserted: “This is fulfilled here in TB Joshua’s ministry.” The American’s sentiments are echoed in the turnout to the cleric’s foreign crusades, with national stadiums packed by excited locals at each destination he visits, primarily South America and Asia. Most of Joshua’s weekly congregants are made up of foreigners whose pilgrimage to The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) have made it the most visited destination for religious tourists in West Africa. The popularity of Joshua’s videos online has resulted in Emmanuel TV becoming the world’s most viewed Christian television station on YouTube, with each video translated in multiple languages to reach his teeming followers overseas. An Emmanuel TV event is scheduled to be held in the FlyDSA Arena in Sheffield, UK on June 1st 2019, a 12,000-seater venue usually reserved only for musical or sporting events, further highlighting Joshua’s popularity abroad. Indeed, if ever the Biblical adage ‘a prophet is without honour in his own nation’ applied to an individual, the SCOAN Founder may be the apt case-study. https://www.thegeniusmedia.com.ng/2019/05/20/tb-joshua-is-the-worlds-most-powerful-minister-american/ |
Contractors Successfully Completed 123 Km Of 156 Km Lagos-ibadan Rail Project The fellow that said Buhari and Ameachi is building infrastructure in other regions because they voted massively for Buhari and was busy mocking and boasting that the SS and SE will continue to suffer under this current govt. due to the 5% given to Buhari. PLEASE I want to ask him: The money use in building those infrastructure is coming from where? (South South region). Definitely not Buhari's money. Don't worry a time is coming when we'll take back our resources 100% and you can give your 100% votes to whomever you wish. I believe your votes will automatically build the infrastructure you're salivating about. Till then. As for Ameachi, in no distant time, he'll surely answer for all the atrocities and pain he brought upon his people, especially Rivers people. Let him continue to use our oil money to develope other regions while he neglect the region that gave him all he has today. |

ABUJA —PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari yesterday inaugurated the Governing Board of the North East Development Commission (NEDC), headed by Major General Paul Tarfa (retd) as chairman. The NEDC has the mandate of rebuilding the North East ravaged by the Boko Haram insurgency. Inaugurating the board at the Council Chamber, Presidential Villa, Abuja, before the commencement of the weekly Federal Executive Council, FEC, meeting, the President said that the establishment of the Commission was in appreciation of the massive electoral support he received from the zone in 2015 and 2019 general elections. The board he said would be the focal organization to assess, coordinate and harmonize and report all the intervention programmes and initiatives of the federal government to avoid duplication of efforts and waste of scarce resources. “You must, therefore, constantly liaise with the relevant federal ministries, departments and agencies, MDAs, states and other development partners for the implementation of all programmes and initiatives and proper utilization of funds released for intervention in the zone.” He further said that the inauguration of the NEDC was in fulfilment of the pledge of his administration to the people of the North East Geo-Political Zone and as part of the strategy for regenerating the socio-economic potentials of the Geo-Political Zone after the devastation of the Boko-Haram insurgency. The president recalled that the Commission was established by the North East Development Commission (NEDC) (Establishment) Act, 2017 which he assented to on 25th October 2017. According to him, the Commission is charged with the responsibility of among other things, receiving and managing funds allocated by the Federal Government of Nigeria and donors for the resettlement, rehabilitation, integration and construction of roads, houses and business premises of victims of insurgency as well as taking care of the menace of poverty, illiteracy, ecological problems and other related environmental and developmental challenges in the North East States. The President emphasized that the 11 Member Governing Board had been carefully constituted based on the proven track records of hard work and integrity of members. He added, “It is, therefore, the expectation of Government and people of the Zone that you will rapidly and systematically set to work to address all areas of your mandates in a fair and equitable manner. “To demonstrate the commitment of this Government to your effective takeoff, a provision of N10 billion has been made in the 2019 budget. It is my expectation that you will judiciously apply these resources.” The President charged the Chairman and Members to as a matter of urgency conduct a comprehensive survey of all states in the zone to determine the reconstruction and rehabilitation needs of all the socio-economic sectors of the zone and develop an intervention master plan based on the outcome of the assessments. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2019/05/north-east-devt-commission-reward-for-massive-vote-for-me-buhari/ |
President Muhammadu Buhari’s agriculture sector initiatives may yield no success if the insecurity devastating Nigeria’s northwest persists, the Emir of Katsina, Abdulmumini Usman, suggested on Monday. According to Daily Trust, the Emir told the Minister for Agriculture, Audu Ogbe, that farmers and herdsmen who are the target beneficiaries of government initiatives have abandoned their farms and herds as killings and kidnappings spiral in the region, which includes Katsina, Mr Buhari’s home state. Mr Ogbe was in the Katsina palace, alongside the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, ahead of the national launch of the distribution of cotton seeds/inputs to farmers for the 2019 planting season, the newspaper reported. But the Emir seized the moment to lament the level of insecurity in the region, which appears to be deteriorated as the so-called bandits continue to kidnap and kill from Abuja-Kaduna highway to rural communities across the northwest. There are no reliable statistics on the incidents but Punch newspaper reported that 41 persons were killed last week in Zamfara State alone and reports of kidnappings and killings in other states, including Kaduna, feature in the dailies almost every day. “Every day I receive reports of kidnapping and killings from the district and village heads,” the Emir said, as reported by Daily Trust. Speaking to the visiting minister, he said: “Tell the president that we have to take care of our people, security first. All these programmes, as good as they are, cannot be (successful) without security. Security is first and fundamental. He continued: “What are you to gain by killing, kidnapping people? It’s very unfortunate. I have not seen this kind of country; how do we live like animals? Three days ago, Magaji Gari (of Daura emirate council) was abducted. Nobody is safe now, whether in your house or road, wherever you are. “What we want you to do for us is to stop the fight. Many people have deserted, abandoned their farms in fear of kidnapping and killings and other atrocities. It’s very unfortunate.” Although there is an ongoing military operation to restore calm in the northwest, the region has remained troubled. Daily Trust had previously reported that Nigerians in Katsina were fleeing to the neighbouring Niger Republic to escape the persistent attacks. The northwest is the latest addition to Nigeria’s regions where conflicts have risen beyond the police constabulary role and required military deployment. Others are the oil-rich Niger Delta, the Middle Belt or north-central which is affected by the herdsmen-farmers’ conflicts and the northeast that is ravaged by the Boko Haram terrorism. In the past week, federal lawmakers in both the Senate and House of Representatives lamented the worsening insecurity in the region. Between April 11 and last Thursday, the Reps twice summoned Mr Buhari over the crisis. The motion leading to the latest summon last Thursday was sponsored by a lawmaker from Mr Buhari’s Katsina home state, Ahmed Safana. “For the last one year, Wallahi, I can’t go to my village and sleep,” one lawmaker Adamu Chika said during Thursday’s proceedings. Overwhelmed by emotion, the lawmaker wept as he asked: “Mr Speaker, where are we going?” At the time, the president was in the United Kingdom on a “private visit”. On his arrival on Sunday, after 10 days, he appeared to be trivialising the insecurity when asked if the public should expect a new strategy. “No. I have just seen the IG, I think he is losing weight. I think he is working very hard,” he replied, referring to the police insepctor general. His lighthearted response to a deadly crisis many Nigerians believe should be considered a national emergency, sparked outrage. https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/328763-insecurity-emir-of-katsina-laments-about-this-kind-of-country-sends-minister-to-buhari.html

Benson and his wife don't sit next to each other during Church services. Even when going to Church services, they go in different vehicles; and when they travel in the same car, it is usually a very quiet and uncomfortable ride. Benson sat at his usual spot in the Church service; the fourth line on the far left row. His wife sat on theb center row. The Pastor took to the podium. *"Husbands, stop wasting your time praying"* the Pastor began. The congregants got alarmed. No one expects to hear a pastor saying prayer is a waste of time. I am not here to discourage you to pray, but to encourage you to pray right. Husbands, stop wasting your time praying if you are not treating your wives well. You come to church driving your expensive cars, giving your offerings and tithes, active in Church, some of you are Church leaders; but how are you treating your wife? You may look good to us Church members, but it is your wife and children that know who you truly are" said the Pastor. Benson turned to face his wife. She looked at him. Benson could see her eyes. Her left eye swollen from the blow he gave her last week when she confronted him about his alcoholism, pornography use and mischievous behavior. People couldn't tell she had a black eye because of the make up she had on, so well done. The Pastor continued, "People have perfected the art of cover up. Here in Church, so many are hurting but you wouldn't know. People come here wearing their nice clothes, shiny smiles, they are active in ministry but hurting a lot in their marriage. "We have become numb and plastic, brushing things under the carpet. But today we shall heal; and shall address those wounds we hide." The Pastor cleared his throat and continued, "Many of those who are hurting their spouses are using the church to hide. They think that because they give offering s and tithes, because they make public prayers, because they read the Word or because they hold a Church leadership position that they are right with God. God is also interested in what you do in your marriage and in your family. The Word says that when you treat your wife badly, it hinders your prayers. Men, you claim to be prayerful? Hear this, "Your first ministry is your home. Stop trying to blackmail God with your service in Church yet you are mean and hurtful towards your spouse." Many of the members of the congregation got restless and unsettled. The Pastor continued, "Many of those who are being hurt by their spouse hide their pain and want to project an image that all is well to validate that they are blessed and in control. Some of you are active in Church to run away from the pain in your marriages". The congregation was silent. Some straightening their ties, others fidgeting with their Bibles, adjusting their sitting position. This pastor was preaching truth and it was uncomfortable. The Pastor continued, "The husbands are not the only ones guilty here... Wives, don't you know the Bible says when your husband found you he found good virtuous woman and you brought favour? Then why are you the source of your husband's headache and stress? Have you been so toxic that you have turned your prayerful husband into a prayer-less one? Do you make him regret marrying you because you bring more complications than he had before marrying you? How you treat your husband can be a stumbling block in his walk with God or an environment that encourages growth. Many of you wives married your individual husbands primarily because of their relationship with God, so why are you now destroying their relationship with God instead of celebrating and nurturing it? Why are you being a burden to your husband emotionally, spiritually, socially, sexually and financially instead of being one who brings favour?" Benson's wife looked at her husband. Benson looked at her,and she looked away. The Pastor paused to drink his glass of water. And he continued, "When I am thirsty, I drink a glass of water. When your spouse gets thirsty, will you allow God to use you to bless your spouse? You've been told many sermons that focus on you as an individual, that God will make you prosper as an individual. I am here to tell you your blessings are tied to people, you are blessed to be a blessing to others. Our God is not an individualistic God. Your blessing is tied to your marriage, your family. It's not about you; it is about Jesus and Jesus is about love. What good is it to prosper and be successful when you have no love? It is all vanity. God cares about your family, how you treat your spouse and children" Silence. Silence. Silence... "Yes, we pray. But what kind of prayers does your spouse pray because of you? When your spouse prays, is it largely to cry to God because of the hurt you bring? Is it to plead with God to change you from the monster you've become? Is it to plead for grace to deal with how difficult you are? Or is to give thanks for you?" Silence. Silence as grave yard "Are you really prayerful? Do you really value prayer? What is prayer? Then why is it that many of you find it easy to come to us pastors for us to pray with you as an individual, you find it is easy to pray in public, in a Church service or Bible study, but find it so hard to pray with your spouse? Isn't that telling of what is going on in your marriage? Don't you know that the more you pray with your spouse the stronger your marriage will be? But how can you find it easy to pray with a spouse you hurt or who hurts you?" The Pastor paused and looked at the congregation. Eyes staring at him. "I challenge you. I challenge you to pray with your spouse and to treat your spouse well. You must save your home, your marriage, your love! Husbands, you are the head of the home. I challenge you to stand up and go to where your wife is and pray with her as a start of a more prayerful chapter in your marriage. Don't do it because I asked you to but because you want to. Your choice" One by one, the husbands present stood up. Benson stood up too. Benson walked to where his wife was. The face of Benson's wife overwhelmed with love, she looked on as her husband walked to her. She almost stood up but he gave hand gestures at her to stay seated. Benson reached where she sat. Their eyes met. Benson knelt down. He stared at her then kissed her swollen left eye. "I am sorry" he said. "Can I pray with you?" He asked. She got up from her seat and knelt down too. There, on the floor as the Church service was still ongoing, husbands prayed with their wives. Benson prayed kneeling with hiswife. They prayed for forgiveness, for thanksgiving, for love, for renewal, for peace, for direction; for their marriage. Marriages were healed. *Culled. |

The Ijaw Youth Council, IYC, Worldwide has urged President Muhammadu Buhari and the National Assembly to, as a matter of national importance, initiate the amendment of the Constitution by allowing States to harness and control the resources in their domains. While stressing that this is the only path to peace in Nigeria, the IYC warned that anything short of resource control will be disastrous to the economic survival of the nation. IYC leader, Pereotubo Roland Oweilaemi, who made this assertion in a statement made available to DAILY POST, said, “Niger Delta people will control her resources even if it means to be killed by the trigger-happy and the Niger Deltaphobe military Joint Task Force in the region.” Oweilaemi, who spoke against the backdrop of news of illegal mining activities in the northern part of the country where powerful individuals are allowed to tap natural resources in their domains, said the Niger Delta people want to control the resources in their lands since solid minerals in the North are now reduced to individual ownership in spite of the nation’s laws which vests ownership of natural resources in the Federal Government. According to him, “If the Nigerian laws did not mean anything to the illegal miners of solid minerals in the North then Niger Delta people will also take control of all petroleum resources in the southern region notwithstanding, the constitutional provisions. “Niger Delta oil cannot be subducted to family ownership to Nigeria, while solid minerals in the North are being extracted by those concerned as individual ownership. “It’s either the Government restructure the Country by allowing States to harness and control the resources in their domains or we will take every steps necessary to exercise control of the resources in our fatherland. “Despite the fact that illegal mining activities are causing a bloody crisis in the North, the FG has not deemed it necessary to set up a military joint task force to checkmate the illegal mining activities because the solid minerals in the country are seen as private ownership to the feudal Lords. There cannot be one Nigeria if everybody in the Country is not treated with the same measure. “Everyday people have been killed and property worth billions of naira have been destroyed in the name of illegal oil bunkering activities by the marauding Joint Task Force in the Niger Delta region. “The FG chose to protect the oil facilities at the expense of the oil-bearing communities because crude oil is seen as a national property, while solid minerals in the North belongs to the individual persons. Is this the one Nigeria they are preaching?” https://dailypost.ng/2019/04/20/ijaw-youths-blow-hot-gold-mining-north-demand-constitution-amendment |
Ex-Niger Delta agitators under the aegis of Niger Delta Ken Saro Wiwa Adaka Boro Biafra Freedom Fighters, have called on the United Nations and the international community to mount pressure on the Nigerian government for the actualisation of Biafra Republic. The group said the only way to stop the agitation for Biafra was to allow Ndigbo have their own republic. The leader of the group, Chief Jasper Emmanuel, who stated this in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State said, the actualisation of Biafra Republic could not be suppressed or denied as everybody had right to freely express his mind on where to belong. He called on all ex-agitators and militants to come together to support and agitate for the actualisation of Biafra Republic as that would give the Niger Delta region the tonic for rapid socio-economic development which had eluded the region for decades. Emmanuel said: “We are seriously working with all necessary stakeholders and Biafra agitation groups within and outside the country to actualise the dream of the Biafra Republic where the people can be free in a country they can call their own. “The actualisation of Biafra Republic will happen shortly as the people can no longer remain in a federation that is politically and economically favourable to only some sections, while other parts of the country that lay the golden egg live in abject poverty and under development.” Emmanuel said the battle for the actualisation of a sovereign state of Biafra must be fought and won on all fronts for the benefit of all as the political imbalance of Nigeria has thrown under development to some sections while political power had remained the exclusive preserve of a few ethnic and religious groups. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2019/04/prevail-on-fg-to-let-biafra-go-ex-n-delta-agitators-beg-un-intl-community/ |
The National Judicial Council (NJC) Wednesday dismissed the allegations of false and non-declaration of assets brought against the suspended Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen. In a statement by the Director of Information, NJC, Soji Oye, the council described the allegations relating to assets declaration levelled against Justice Onnoghen as subjudice and consequently, abstained from considering them. The decision was reached at the NJC emergency meeting convened to consider the report of the five-man committee constituted to investigate the allegations of misconduct made against Justice Onnoghen and the Acting CJN, Justice Tanko Muhammad. The Council also said to have reached a decision on the petitions written by Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) against Justice Onnoghen. While the council has conveyed its decision to President Muhammadu Buhari, it has however resolved that considering the nature of the decision reached, it would be inappropriate to make it public before conveying it to Buhari. Thus, it is not certain what the Council has emerged with on the said petitions. One Dennis Aghanya had petitioned the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) earlier in the year, alleging that Justice Onnoghen breached the public service rule by failing to declare some of his assets as stipulated by law. https://m.guardian.ng/news/njc-dismisses-onnoghen-assets-declaration-petition/ |
The member representing Idah/Ibaji/Igalamela/Odolu/Ofu federal constituency of Kogi State, Hon. Emmanuel Makoji Egwu(PDP) has described President Muhammadu Buhari as the greatest enemy of the Ajaokuta Iron and steel complex in Kogi State. He said Buhari scuttled the almost completed steel complex when he overthrew former President Shehu Shagari in 1984. In an interview with DAILY POST in Abuja, Egwu said it would have served as Nigeria’s cradle of technological development, but was stopped by Buhari led military administration. He explained that Buhari was against the steel complex because it was cited in Kogi State, North Central Nigeria. “Buhari’s problems with Ajaokuta Iron and Steel was because it is situated in the North Central. If it was cited in Sokoto, Kano or Katsina he would have left it the way it is, but being in the middle belt, he was not ready to make the place see the light of the day”, he said. He accused Buhari of marginalising the people of middle belt, noting that Mr President and other people like him in the core North had taken away identity of the people of middle belt “I tell you, this same Buhari and far northern elements are marginalising us because we are from the middle belt, they have taken away our identities as people of the middle belt”, he added. Egwu urged Buhari to show commitment, especially with the opportunity he now had by redeeming his image in completing Ajaokuta Iron and Steel Company unconditionally, noting that such would create jobs for the teeming youths and empower the nation economically. He further berated the present administration for not getting things right, by coordinating human and materials resources in order to move the nation forward. According to him, the administration was only pursuing a corrective segment of the economy, thereby leaving other important aspects which had left Nigerians living in tension, fear and hunger. “If you look at the present administration in the last one year, there was no wholistic approach to governance, they have been pursing a segment of the economy and Nigerians are living in tension and hunger”, he maintained. www.dailypost.ng/2016/06/27/buhari-has-been-against-ajaokuta-iron-and-steel-since-military-era-hon-egwu/

Niger Delta Oil Is For Niger Deltans Only,go And Find Your Own https://www.nairaland.com/5058245/niger-delta-oil-niger-deltans |
The most annoying is that the South West and their Caliphate master up North are very quick to tell us how the Niger deltans Oil is becoming worthless and useless in 21th century, but Buhari is busy wasting billions of dollars in his empty search and quest for crude oil in the North. That's hypocritical. They've succeeded in rendering our land useless and impotent. Our people cannot use the land for other activities anymore. The in-game now is to divide the SS and SE who have succeeded in forming alliance after the disgraceful outer of Jonathan. Nobody in the SS is good enough or worthy: General Azazi was murdered, Jonathan was accused of all sort and bundled out, former DSS director Ekpenyong was also disgraced out of office, Matthew Seiyefa was not good enough to head the DSS, now the only CJN from the SS Onnoghen is been harassed left, right and center . The only people who are qualified and are not corrupt according to the SW and their caliphate Masters are Northerners and some few South westerners. |

All I know is that the scheming and tactice of divide and conquer your father's adopted to deceive our fathers in the 1960,70s and 80s to ripe us off of our God given resources will not work in this 21st century. No amount of militarization of our region to steal our resources will deter us from demanding absolute control of our Oil. |
South South don't need any fuckin' Senate presidency. This divide and conquer tactics the so-called SWCF and her caliphate masters will not work this time. So after the coming together of the South West and the North to kick our own Jonathan out, what they're now planning is to give us the Senate presidency so as to keep the oil flowing unhindered and to spite our cousins from the S'East who supported us wholeheartedly through out our travail. The earlier this Country is restructured the better. Sometime I blame our political leaders who are blindfolded with personal greed and the lack of foresight. Look, you and your Fulani masters cannot deceive us no more. What we want is the 100% control of our Oil and resources and not any fuckin' bribe. |
glink2015:APC said worst and nobody was arrested or prosecuted. https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/171627-apc-vows-form-parallel-government-2015-elections-rigged.html |
Those condemning FFK should note APC said worst and nobody was arrested or prosecuted The All Progressives Congress, APC, has slammed the presidency for its response to the warning by Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State that if the 2015 elections are rigged, the party will not recognize the outcome and will go ahead and form a parallel government. The APC said in a statement Friday that Mr. Amaechi’s comment represents the stand of the party. The statement issued in Lagos on Friday by its National Publicity Secretary, Lai Mohammed, said that what Mr. Amaechi said at the APC’s Salvation Rally, which has now rankled the presidency, was simply to reiterate the stand taken by the party before the last Osun State Governorship election. “Those who are fretting about this statement are those who are planning to rig the elections and they should be warned that Nigerians will no longer accept the outcome of any fraudulent polls. Those who incite the people are those who steal their mandate. “What we made is a conditional statement. If A happens, then B will follow. That means if elections are not rigged, there will be no problem. It is therefore laughable that anyone will call that statement treasonable,” it said, adding that there is no higher treason than the subversion of the people’s will. Ekenne Campaign AD APC said it is common knowledge that anywhere in the world where elections have been rigged, the consequences have been dire, and Nigeria will not be an exception. “Let us remind the presidency, in case it has forgotten, that election fraud triggered a civil war in Algeria in the early 1990s, led to the killing of over 1,000 people in post-election riots in Kenya in 2007/2008 and fired a near revolution in Iran in 2009/2010. Electoral frauds also corrupt democracy and breed dictatorship, and risks making the people to lose confidence in democracy. Why then would any government react violently if warned against election rigging?” the party queried. It said that instead of issuing threats and engaging in name calling, the presidency should simply brace up to ensure that the forthcoming elections are not only free, fair and credible, but are seen to be so by Nigerians and the international community. APC said it is necessary to constantly warn the PDP and the Federal Government not to tamper with the 2015 polls because of their penchant for electoral desperation, which manifests in the intimidation of the opposition and the militarization of election, disposition to anarchy and propensity for impunity. Okowa Campaign AD The party said already, the process leading to the 2015 polls are flawed, with moves to disenfranchise millions of Nigerians by making it impossible for them to either register or get their Permanent Voters Cards and the plot to depopulate the strongholds of the opposition. “PDP and the governments it sired, especially at the centre, are lawless and anarchic. That’s why they can unleash the police against federal legislators in an attempt to force a removal of the Speaker of the House of Representatives. That’s why a state under the control of the PDP will use seven lawmakers to remove the Speaker in a 26-member House of Assembly. “Because it is said that eternal vigilance is the price of freedom, we will constantly warn the PDP and the Federal Government not to tamper with the 2015 elections. We will constantly chide them for trying to institutionalize impunity. We cannot and will not be intimidated by an uptight presidency,” it said. “The PDP and the Jonathan Administration are the masters of impunity, and they will not hesitate to exploit any sign of docility in the face of their evil intentions on the part of the opposition. The lessons are there: Had the members of the House of Representatives been docileon Thursday when remote-controlled security agents invaded their premises and barred them from entering, Tambuwal would have ceased to be the Speaker by now. “For us, the gloves are off. We will no longer engage in any nicety as long as some people are bent on thwarting the will of the people through electoral fraud. All we are demanding is a free, fair and credible election. All we are saying is that no one should incite the people by stealing their mandate. How these demands can be construed to mean treason is as baffling as the do-or-die disposition of the ruling PDP to elections,” the party said. Clearly Atiku has won hands down. He has defeated Buhari almost everywhere in the south and the north central with the exception of Kwara. He has also defeated Buhari in parts of the core north. My advice to Buhari: do not tamper with the results or we will Venezuela you! - Femi Fani-Kayode

The Niger state chapter of the Nigeria Labour Congress ( NLC ) has described the Federal government school feeding programme as a corrupt and wasteful venture calling for its stop. The Niger state Chairman of NLC, Comrade Yahaya Ndako Idris made the call while speaking at “a solemn Assembly” organised by the Niger state wing of the Nigeria Union of Teachers on Monday. He said that the money spent on the school feeding programme can be used for other educational programmes that would be beneficial to the school children. He said that N9 million claimed to have been spent monthly by the federal government could have been used for renovation of many schools that are already in dilapidated states. ” The federal government should immediately stop the school feeding programme, it is total corruption, they should use the money for other programmes, they commit the money to the renovation of schools. ” We agree today that the federal government should stop school feeding everybody feeds his child before taking them to school.” Commending the NUT for organising the “solemn assembly”, Idris said it is important for everything to be put in the hands of God as God is the only one who can settle the challenges bedevilling the nation. The State Chairman of the NUT, Comrade Ibrahim Umar appreciated teachers in the state for being dedicated to their job even in the face of daunting challenges calling on the government to improve the condition of service of teachers. During the solemn assembly, prayers were offered for the smooth conduct of the general elections and for God to ” touch the hearts of the leadership” to do the bidding of workers especially teachers. The major prayer point at the solemn Assembly was that God should allow the national assembly to pass the N30,000 minimum wage bill before it. http://thenationonlineng.net/fgs-school-feeding-programme-is-waste-of-funds-nlc
