Women who have more children age slower, according to a new study conducted on indigenous women in Guatemala. Researchers from the Simon Fraser University claim that women who have more children have longer telomeres, slowing down the cellular ageing process. Telomeres are the tips at the end of each DNA strand that protect the chromosomes from damage. Longer telomeres are vital to cell replication and are associated with longevity, the researchers said. Each time a cell replicates, the telomeres become shorter, until they become too short and leave the chromosomes vulnerable to damage. Consequently, the cells age and stop working effectively. Medical News Today reports that higher reproductive behaviour is linked with accelerated ageing. However, this new study challenges this theory. The researchers studied the number of children born to 75 Kaqchikel Mayan women from two rural communities in Guatemala. The team assessed their telomere lengths twice through saliva samples and buccal swabs between 2000 through 2013. Women who had a higher number of surviving children had longer telomeres than those who gave birth to fewer children. The experts suggest that each additional childbirth is linked with 0.059 more telomere units. “The slower pace of telomere shortening found in the study participants who have more children however, may be attributed to the dramatic increase in oestrogen, a hormone produced during pregnancy,” explained Pablo Nepomnaschy, head of the Maternal and Child Health Laboratory at the SFU Faculty of Health Sciences, in a media release. “Oestrogen functions as a potent antioxidant that protects cells against telomere shortening.” Nepomnaschy also studied the participants’ environment. Additionally, the researchers observed that women who bore numerous children received more social support from their relatives and friends. Apparently, support leads to an increase in the amount of metabolic energy that can be used for tissue maintenance, which slows the ageing process. According to Nepomnaschy and postdoctoral researcher Cindy Barha, their research is the first to examine the direct association between telomere shortening and the number of children over time. Nevertheless, the researchers said that more studies must be conducted to investigate the link between biological ageing in women and reproductive frequency in different ethnicities and social backgrounds. www.ibtimes.com.au/having-more-children-slows-down-ageing-claims-new-study-1499312 |

Nigeria earned more than $800 billion in oil revenue since independence. Where is the money? If the past Head of states & governors plug in back 50% of all the revenue accrued to this Nation,Nigeria would have been an envy of others develop economies of the world. |

Minister of Defence, Mohammed Dan Ali, has warned that the current wave of pro-Biafra agitations in parts of the South-East of the country may escalate and constitute threat to national unity. The Indigenous People of Biafra on a Peaceful Protest over the Arrest of the Director of Radio Biafra, along Ikwerre road in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. “Nigeria is currently facing many indices of destabilization,” the Minister said yesterday when he resumed duties at the Ship House, headquarters of the Ministry of Defence in Abuja. According to him, the Federal Government in collaboration with what he described as stakeholders should brainstorm and come up with a roadmap in order to abort any processes that may destabilize the nation. He re-affirmed Federal Government’s commitment towards routing the “Boko Haram insurgency in parts of the North-East of the country. According to him, “the APC had promised even before the coming of the President Muhammadu Buhari administration that it would fight the insurgency. The terrorists are on their way out, even before the December deadline and the President has shown openly that he is ready to fight the insurgency. The Minister said that henceforth, all procurement for the military would be guided by due process, as, according to him, “arms and ammunition, stock verification and accountability will be key and joint operation is also very important as the Army, the Air Force and the Navy. Also, jointness in operation is very important. If the army operates on its own, the Navy, the Air force must work together to achieve a common goal. “Leadership is all about integrity, honesty and transparency. There cannot be a good leader without these three things. You cannot be a good leader if you don’t have integrity, you cannot be a good leader if you don’t have honesty, so also, transparency. Forget about corruption. Corruption can never come near you if you have these qualities. So gentlemen, we should imbibe these three qualities. “Where is your integrity when your own Chief of Army Staff stood up and said his Commander- in- Chief of the Armed Forces has no WAEC, How? Please let us be sincere with ourselves. Because that day, you should have stood up and said no. If you leave the job, is that the end of your life? If you leave the job there are other ways, better ways that God can use to bless your life,”Ali said. He described his appointment as ordained by God, as he noted that, “we are all selected here by the grace of the Almighty God. It is not because you are better than any other person in your locality or in your course. It is not because you are the best. So, you should be answerable to the Almighty God who has honoured us and given us these leadership positions. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/11/pro-biafra-protests-may-destabilize-nigeria-defence-minister-warns/

Abdulwaheed Nasiru a.k.a Haulaki, one of the men accused of involvement in the October 2 multiple blasts in Nyanya and Kuje, has opened up on how he was recruited by boko haram terrorists. He was among the five suspects paraded Thursday at the Police Special Anti-Robbery Squad Headquarters in Abuja, where several bomb-making materials recovered from them were also displayed. Others are Abdulazeez Muhazab, Ishaka Salihu, Mohammed Jimoh and Abdullahi Nasiru; THE SUN reports. Speaking on his recruitment, Haulaki said, ''I am an Igbira man and my people are mainly Muslims. I was able to attend primary school which I did not complete because my parents were farmers and they said education was a waste of time. I came to Abuja seven years ago to learn auto mechanic at Games Village and I graduated four years after before establishing my own workshop at Galadima roundabout, Abuja. I got married and my wife is currently pregnant. ''In 2013 I was convinced to join Boko Haram at the mosque along the road before Total Filling Station, in Aiyoke area of Okene, Kogi State. Though I rented an apartment very close to the mosque, it was one of the sons of the landlord of that house, who is my friend, Abubakar that convinced me to start attending the mosque before he was killed during one of their clashes with soldiers. He personally introduced me to Mustapha, the Imam and owner of the mosque. ''Mustapha was the one who indoctrinated me into the Boko Haram sect. He urged me through his teachings which were mainly on Fridays after the Jumat prayers, Saturdays and Sundays to be faithful to God and do His wishes and I should also oppose those going against the teachings of Prophet Muhammed. ''Mustapha usually urged us to support cause of Jihad in any part of the country in any way we can and when we cannot donate ourselves or money to the cause, we should at least pray for those waging the war. In some of his teachings, he told us that western education was a sin and working for the government was also a sin. He then asked those who have gone through secondary and university education to destroy their certificates. A lot of people, who graduated from the secondary and university in that mosque, destroyed their certificates. That singular act fully convinced me that if these my brothers who attended university can destroy their certificates because of Boko Harm, I should not hesitate,” he said. http://www.nigerianbulletin.com/threads/abuja-bombing-suspect-how-my-imam-helped-boko-haram-recruit-me.133667/

I wonder where this so called spiritual husbands come from, they are worse than any deadly disease you can ever think of (besides they are the cause) I pray that the Lord would deliver his children from demons who are: 1. Child abuser’s – they claim you while in your mother’s womb by the time you are born you are already taken by them. 2. Abnormal wedding day – the next thing you find yourself being wedded by without your permission and being in a position of not having control of the situation, worst part you get married in the dream and never in the physical. 3. Molester’s – they sleep with you by force whenever they feel like it and you have no say or control over. 4. Un-wanted pregnancies – now you see yourself pregnant in the dream by force and giving birth for a demon that Molests you every night! for some physically they don’t even have children. 5. Lying thieves- their mission in your life is they only came to kill, steal and destroy every good thing the Lord has for you. 6. All they want is to destroy marriage’s and block those who are still single not to marry. they know that women were created to be helpers and if homes were peaceful, the world would be a better place and children would be brighter and smarter without having to grow up in a home where parents are enemies. Today children worry more about problems in the house than the parents involved. Homes have become battle fields, the so called spiritual husband are the foundation of the marriage they make all the decisions in the house instead of the almighty God the founder of the Marriage Institution. I pray for God’s mercy that people may find it easy to run for deliverance. I pray also for my country because those demons have not yet been exposed fully, people don’t even believe in marriage anymore, those who are married infidelity is a daily bread. The man no longer suffer lustful thoughts but rather they are suffering from lustful actions it has become so bad that they can’t control themselves physically! And this has led so many young women to be obsessed with business and their career’s and always putting marriage as the very last option. The world needs your prayers men of God to restore God’s will in the lives of the people, they need people who will stand up and testify that God is still a match maker and one can still have a divine marriage even in my country and other places in the world suffering from high rates of divorce and single men and women engaging with multiple partners with the excuse of saying “I don’t know which one is my life partner or is from God” what is if i say no to my soul mate? And all this is the tricks of the enemy because many young people cannot differentiate between a spiritual husband and a husband from God in their dreams besides in our churches we were never taught “the 50 signs he is your husband from God ” like the internet would put it! Prophet T.B Joshua and the wise men we humbly bring forth this prayer request so that the Lord may lead to prayers to set the people free as for me its been some time now the Lord has lead me to so many homes in my vision to experience the physical pain of divorce and of one partner leaving the wife for another woman without keeping it a secret to the wife or children. Another case was a man leaving the wife for another man! In the vision I could feel the Culled from: tbjfansuk.. |

According to Support NEW 2015, a political organisation, following the recent appointments by President Buhari, the former governor of Rivers State Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi was in Port-Harcourt on Saturday for a crucial meeting with the Rivers APC caucus, to chart a way forward for the members of the party. [Photo: Rotimi Amaechi in Port-Harcourt] Mr. Amaechi, while lamenting said "I called you here, to brief you on the happenings in the party. Dakuku can confirm some of the things I will share with you. First, I thank you all for your support especially at these trying times. “You all know the level of financial support and invaluable time I put, in ensuring that President Buhari wins both the party primary and the presidential election. All that were done because of what the President promised me. “The President promised me the position of the secretary to government of the federation (SGF) in the presence of his wife, the day they came to ask for my support, in preparation to the party primaries. And based on the president's promise, I withdrew my support for Kwankwaso. “And today Kwankwaso sees me as his enemy. Dakuku can confirm that. I don't know what I did to Tinubu. I have begged him both in private and before other party members. Yet, he has decided to hunt me down. “What you see playing out today in our party, is not regional politics, but politics of the different parties and groups that make up the APC. Tinubu is seriously accusing me of being behind what played out in the National Assembly. “The dummy he sold to the President, was that the PDP group in the APC have taken the Senate President and Speaker House of Representatives. And the President has bought Tinubu's dummy, and he is angry with the PDP group in the APC. “The President believes, that I have polarised the APC along party lines, and therefore he (Buhari ) will also make his appointments along his party the CPC. “Now, the only option we have is to recruit the media, to paint the President in bad light, as regards his lopsided appointments. “We believe when we hit him from different angles he will balance his appointments. We have already involved Arewa youths and some other groups and individuals. “Some will be on TV to highlight this injustice meted against us by President Buhari. I feel deeply betrayed by the President's action. I'm still learning people. " http://www.elombah.com/index.php/news/449-president-buhari-betrayed-me-only-media-protest-can-save-us-amaechi

Any respond from Amaechi? |
Cecelia Ibru was convicted for $1.2billion and she served jail term for only 6 months. The embattled former governor of Rivers state, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi has accepted the ruling by the Federal High Court in Port-Harcourt to investigate the activities of his government. Amaechi who was fighting to stop the Rivers state government from probing his government spoke in a very low spirit in a private chat with his kinsmen said " Jonathan is the cause of all these crises in Rivers State. Today is either I'm going for Wike's head or Wike is coming for my head. President Buhari has said, that anyone who has a case to answer will not work with him. And that's fine by me. Let me say this again and again. Where I am today, is by the grace of God. And if God says, Amaechi you won't go beyond this; none of us here can change that, including myself. So I'm not desperate for appointment. You were all here when Bode George was convicted for 2 years and eventually released by the Supreme Court. Cecelia Ibru was convicted for $1.2 billion dollars. And she served jail term for only six months. I even feel the laws on graft are too lenient for criminals in this country. If you gave me just 5 percent of what Cecelia stole, I would have served the jail term for her. And how much are they even accusing me of stealing? Seriously speaking, I'm not afraid of serving jail term "

Nigeria Former Rivers state Governor, Rotimi Amaechi has written to Bancorp Bank in Minnesota in the United States that the alleged $757 million Dollars domiciled in an account in his name; was authorized by him in error; from a Rivers State Government Account with Access Bank Plc. The Nigerian most corrupt governor according to CNN letter reveals that a similar letter was also written to a bank in Switzerland; stating that a similar authorization was made in error. The letter stated that the said transfers to both banks were for the purchase of security Helicopters, payments to a foreign company to combat malaria in Rivers state by using helicopters to spray mosquito insecticides, and for the purchase of an official residence for Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, in America. The letter further explains that, the payments for the security helicopters, and mosquito insecticides to fight malaria were made through other sources, after the funds had already been transferred abroad. He reminded the bank that the Rivers state law on his severance package, provides for an official residence for a former governor; of which he chose to have his residence in America. Amaechi said that, this law was later amended to have his official residence built in Nigeria, after the funds had already been transferred to Bancorp/Minnesota Account. Mr. Amaechi said these changes were the reasons he communicated the consultants for purchase of security helicopters, his official residence in the U.S and the Insecticide companies not to access the funds; since they have been paid through other sources. On receipt of the governor’s letter by the Bancorp Bank, the bank has written to the Federal Government of Nigeria to repatriate the said funds to Rivers State treasury. Investigations further revealed that President Buhari is not disposed to this request to repatriate the said funds without a trial of the former governor; to ascertain the governor’s alleged errors in these transactions. ” Why would it take Christiane Amanpour of CNN, to remind Amaechi of such errors of over N80 billion Naira public funds in two different countries, and why in his name ?” Queried the Presidency. Recall that Christiane Amanpour accused the former governor of Rivers State; Mr. Rotimi Amaechi of stacking the sum of $757 million dollars (N80 billion Naira) in Bancorp Bank in Minnesota in the United State. Lebanese security forces stand guard outside the Bilal bin Rabah mosque in Sidon following deadly clashes between the Lebanese army and supporters of radical Sunni cleric Sheikh Ahmad al-Assir, on June 28, 2013 (AFP Photo/Mahmoud Zayyat) Nigeria’s new regime of President Muhammadu Buhari may have granted visa to a fleeing ‘ISIS Emir’, and a Lebanese fugitive, Ahmad al-Assir who was arrested Saturday at the airport. He had changed his appearance by shaving his beards, and was trying to escape to Nigeria through Cairo with fake Palestinian travel document that had a valid visa, according to the Lebanese authorities. His arranged Nigeria’s escape has raised questions about a possible collaboration of Assir with the Nigeria’s new regime. E-media enquires sent to the Nigerian Embassy in Beirut, Lebanon through the Ambassador Extra Ordinary and Plenipotentiary, Hon Amos Oluwole Idowu and his Administrative Attaché Mr. H. A. Ogunkoya have not been responded to as of press time. Ahmad al-Assir a fugitive Sunni Muslim cleric has been wanted over deadly clashes with the army as he tried to flee the country. Assir had reportedly been on the run since June 2013, when he led his supporters through a deadly battle with the army outside the southern city of Sidon, but Saturday morning, the Lebanese authorities arrested him. His escape route through Cairo to Nigeria was being investigated by the Lebanese authorities and may deface a global effort to assist Nigeria in its own fight against Boko Haram, International Guardian gathered. A possible collaboration between Assir and Nigeria’s new regime of President Muhammadu Buhari may hurt a regime barely 100 days in the offing. Buhari it may be recalled, damaged every trust and respect with the western countries in his years as a dictator – especially with his involvement in the 1984 failed kidnap of Umaru Dikko, a former Nigerian civilian government minister living in the United Kingdom. The kidnapping took place, but the transportation was botched - causing a damaged relations between Nigeria and the United Kingdom. Subsequently, Buhari’s advocacy for a Boko Haram amnesty has also created doubts over his request for assistance from the United States in fighting terror. http://reportsafrique.com/nigeria-isis-emir-and-fugitive-arrested-linked-to-buharis-regime/ www.guardiannewsusa.com/isis-emir-and-fugitive-arrested--linked-to-buhari-s-regime-.html
