I've taken my time to watch the show and follow the trends on twitter. The fad is to bash Seyi Shay ! Even those not watching the show, also join in to bash! It's funny! I've not seen any wrong done so far! The judges have gone through hundreds of contestants! They can't pick all of them! It's not a family reunion, it's a competition! Your best friend, brother or sister might be a good singer outside but in front of the judges, anxiety can mess their game up. Then you'll come to twitter, Facebook and nairaland and be saying person A can sing but was not chosen! Give the judges a slack biko! |
somehow:You are obviously sympathetic to terrorists and their actions. There's been enough evidence to indict Pantami in this terrorism issue. The proper thing to do is step down and the FG takes action. More importantly, there's also more than enough ''Northern Muslims' to replace him. Nothing can stop the NIN registration if the FG wills it. Are you saying if some terminal illness or worse befalls Pantami today, he will not be replaced by someone else to continue the job. Are you saying, there are no "competent people'' from the whole North who can do the job while the terrorists lover steps down? It's like you lots are ignorant of the gravity of being linked to terrorists in some way or you are just pretending to be ignorant, hopefully it's the former. |
somehow:Answering a question with another question is rude. Those before him didn't do anything with NIN, we have heard. Now tell us how does Pantami's removal/resignation affect the NIN registration that's already in progress? Buhari can easily replace him with another Northern Muslim preferably from Katsina to continue. So why does his resignation/removal based on his terrorism links jeopardize the NIN registration that is in progress already? |
somehow:Kindly explain in a few sentences, how Pantami's resignation/removal as minister will jeopardize the whole NIN registration process? |

OnlyDeCapPlease:Don't mind them! Instead of them to help uplift Apollo Crews into stardom with international recognition like John Cena, they are here shouting scripted! WWE is scripted yen yen yen but it is a business making lots of money, paying tax to the US govt as well as employing Americans from the wrestlers to camera crew, sound engineers etc. Our own is to use ITK and bad mouth to spoil everything here in Naija! No jobs, no electricity, nothing! |
Just because WWE is scripted does not mean there is no level of pain. Those blows, kicks, getting slammed on the table, being whipped with a kendo stick or ladder, submission moves etc involve a considerate amount of pain, just enough but not enough to cause any serious damage. The wrestler must also know how to sell (act) the pain. No amount of scripting can change the pain being received. If you feel otherwise, come let me flog you with a kendo stick, just 10 strokes, hit your back lightly with a steel chair or throw you off the top of a steel cage. Let's see if you will still have mouth after that! ![]() That's why wrestlers like Ryback don't last because they are too dangerous for other wrestlers to work with. They most times inflict serious pain during their match. And for those of you forming woke shouting scripted yen yen yen, it's 2021! Every one knows already! The 'E' in WWE is for entertainment not boredom! |
Norphiee:What is overdue? Nothing drastic happened! No one was sacked nor fired! He was only recalled! It's like telling a soldier to return to base from the theatre of war. He still remains a soldier on active duty! It's unfortunate that many people have fallen for the deceit! Recall does not mean anything! |
Charmingrascal:''This one" was not even fired let alone the CCT chairman. He was only recalled to the ministry from which he was posted. His salary and every other benefits will continue. |
Normal problematic situation in other countries, is one step forward, two steps backward. In Northern Nigeria dominated by Islam/Sharia, it's two steps backward, 100 steps backward! No forward in their dictionary! ![]() |
At a giveaway price of #1000 per crate and based on the number of crates filled with eggs in the picture, that is easy #300,000 in my bank account. |
Why do these guys always lament about bills and taxes? If you think paying bills and taxes that ensure you have basic amenities in the US is too much, then return to Nigeria where you pay bills and still don't get basic amenities! |
yanabasee1:Got the same FGN electronic money transfer levy, three times now between March 30th and today. Have zero idea what it means? And why I am even charged thrice? |
When they mention traffic jam, Abuja people will rush and call Nyanya traffic jam. If you have lived in Lagos then moved to Abuja or you spend a week or two in Lagos, then you will understand that Nyanya traffic is not anything. |
No autopsy carried out on any of the 50 dead club-goers! Hardly do they carry out autopsies in Nigeria! Just speculations on the cause of death! |
I'd buy like 5 pairs of the shoes if I had the financial resource to do it. All this is just marketing gimmick! No wonder the shoes were sold out in a minute! |
You are never going to stop, if you like delete betting apps, stop watching football and other funny suggestions I see on this thread because I presume you started betting due to financial issues not for fun. The solution is simple actually. You just replace the betting addiction with another addiction that actually pays you money. |
They should add at least two naija flavour to their menu, not just burger. |
At the peak of the revelations, findings revealed the management of the park hurriedly banned visitors from coming to the zoo. As usual, the only action Nigeria often takes is to BAN to resolve issues. BAN every thing! |
Stop saving in Mortein containers. It's unhealthy! ![]() |
Young men, for a first or second date, a movie theatre is a no no. You want to bond with her, not get her distracted by some movie. You need to have conversations, a little bit of flirting here and there and actually have proper fun, so you can deduce if she's wasting your time or she'd be perfect for you. Movies at the theatre will not toast the babe for you, you have to do that yourself. Stop wasting your money. |
All these myopic and puerile fellows saying that she should not go to MAVIN HQ do not understand the importance of networking with the right people. |
kalu61:Nigeria is not a beacon of morality. The attitude of Nigerians to corruption, embezzlement and tribalism attest to that fact, amongst other vices, that are now seen as normal in this country. All the cultural upbringing and not-sparing-the-rod has not been able to change that fact. Nigeria does not accept everything but currently is a country that its name is synonymous with chaos. Every country has its issues but some are doing their best to manage it well. Nigeria with its various different cultures does not fall among! |
kalu61:I hope this culture you are talking about is not based in Nigeria? Also if an example of a society that does not accept everything that you are referencing is Nigeria, please delete your comment on this thread! |
Based on the explanation, I have gotten from people on this thread, I fail to see how this is a scam. If out of being a cheapskate and greedy fellow you decide to bid for iPhone12 at N100 knowing fully well there are hundreds bidding for the same product and you might end up spending more. How is this the fault of the company? Kobobid and its likes are only creating a business platform for cheapskates and greedy fellows and like all businesses, money has to be made. Don't fault them because they are selling bids, who in their right mind will sell iPhone at N100? |
He probably got lost in a snowstorm! Snow can be deadly at times! |
Road salt used to melt snow on the road corrodes the under part of cars. It snows heavily in countries like Canada, so I'm not surprised when people say Canadian cars are often affected. |
Karleb:The questions are not dumb. Sometimes HR might find it difficult to pick a candidate from a sea of impressive resumes/CV (which most times are exaggerated). It is the job of the applicant to convince HR, within a few minutes, that his/her exaggerated Resume/CV makes him the right person for the job and other applicants be disregarded. If you can not answer basic questions from your CV/RESUME that you compiled yourself, is it complicated interview questions based on case studies you will now answer! HR no get that time except you're connected! |
Gemineye:It's called averaging. If you buy an item at N100 and the price falls to N40. When you add money by buying at N40, while the price might not go back to your initial N100 it might struggle to rise a bit. If it rises to N60 you make some profit ONLY on the new capital added. That profit is what reduces your loss on the old capital. Some even double the added capital and do not necessarily need to wait for price to get back to N100 before breaking even and recovering all their money. It's trading strategy but also risky as with every strategy. |
Home-based liberty? Liberty that you can not use to travel interstate without fear of kidnappers, liberty that you can not use to farm on your land or getting beat up by the police for exercising your right! Bros, shift to one side abeg. You are not yet ready for serious discussion. |
What a massive win for Everton since 1999 !! Liverpool presence at the Top Four is now being questioned! It is obvious You truly don't understand what this particular win means to Everton.
You just rush to quote someone. You don't even understand my comment. Very typical! Go back, read and digest it. You will see that I'm saying the same thing as you! |
