blacknp:It is clear that what happened at the various shoprites were stealing and vandalization. However, I don't know what you intend to achieve with this misdirection of yours. The question asked is if the other warehouses that were looted truly stored palliatives or just an unfortunate fellow's warehouse. |
Is it just me because the only warehouse that I saw that had palliatives with COVID-19 printed boldly and was The other few warehouses, to the best of my knowledge, didn't have COVID or related terms printed on it. Hope people have not gone to steal from somebody's warehouse under the guise of taking long stored palliatives. I stand to be corrected anyway! |
You and your wife are making learning a chore for the boy by beating him always. It has to be done in a fun way. The same way YouTube is good for learning adults is the same way children can learn from Youtube. What you need is ABC nursery rhymes and YouTube has loads of them targeted at toddlers. It needs to be fun, not by force! You need to inundate him/her with ABC and 123 nursery rhymes. And No, you can't just buy video cd and leave him to watch alone, you have to join him in watching and singing along the 123 and ABC nursery rhymes. Recommended Channels on Youtube you can download from: Akili Pinkfong Alphablocks Numberblocks etc LEARNING IS FUN NOT BY FORCE Source: My experience with my two kids. |
Guyman02:As long as these aforementioned agencies do not rely on the FG to pay their workers salaries, then it's going to be hard. In the cashbook of the FG, these agencies are the cashcows and will be on the credit side while the Universities are on the debit side. |
mayor1814:Easy! That's because CBN and NNPC have an internally generated revenue which they use to handle their expenses. They do no rely on the FG for salaries. Infact, Agencies like NNPC and FIRS contribute a certain percentage from their IGR to the allocation money shared by FG which FG uses to pay other government agencies like the Universities that depend on them. If you don't want FG to force you to join IPPIS, then start generating your revenue internally, shikena! You can not be fully dependent on your parents(FG) for money for feeding, school fees, rent etc and expect them not to have a say on how and when they will give you that money. If you don't like your parents decision, start working to earn your money and spend how you like. |
Abouwaza:If you are not already working at a job even if it's sales personnel go get one now. If you're too proud to do odd jobs start learning an online skill now or trading skill. If you're already doing any of the above the kudos, you are smart! Don't just be wasting valuable time for ASUU strike to end or for the unresponsive Presidency to react. |
Unless it is from an official source with stamp and all that stuff, do not believe it! |
Antoeni:Let's assume this your cooked up stats of 87% is true. From a sample of 100 Nigerians, that means 13 innocent Nigerians are robbed, dehumanised and sometimes killed by this FSARS. Is it worth it? Will your so-called observations still be proper when we increase the sample size to 1000 Nigerians? |
Though he is right. He has been claiming intelligence, how many individual tasks did Laycon win in the house?
The show is over and the winner declared, individual task won or not! Enough with the trolling! Give it a break! Dunno how winning individual tasks on a game show relates to someone speaking up on social media restrictions! |
Don't say anything even if he/she insists. Trust me, it will be used against you later in an argument or to blackmail you to do what you don't like doing. |
bptc10:Lol...A significant portion of that 900 million votes are free. If you have access to 5 of your friends (who don't watch BBN) but are on Premium package, you can easily use their smartcards to generate 10000 votes within 15 minutes in a single voting week at zero naira. That's one person making 10000 votes. |
Slurity:If you don't know something ask for proper explanation instead of making assumptions. You get free votes based on your dstv and Gotv subscription packages, and another round of 100 free votes on mobile site and web site all based on your smartcard number. One individual can generate up to 10000 free votes at zero naira in a single voting week, if he knows his way. NO, you don't use money during online voting! You use only your internet data, it will cost your a few kilobytes to vote. |
nairaman66:Lol...They did have that amount. It's just that you critics will not sit down for someone to explain how. In a single voting week, only one subscriber with a Dstv compact subscription package can have up to 950 free votes sans SMS. That's 750 app free votes + 100 mobile site free votes + 100 web free votes. Someone with Premium package has up to 2700 free votes in one week. You can see how all that can sum up quickly. Just one person can generate 10000 votes in a week without spending one Kobo on SMS votes. The SMS votes are just fans going extra mile! But I doubt if you guys will settle down to understand ![]() |
10000 jobs over the years, yet ignoramus and so called moralists will say BBN has no importance to Nigeria! ![]() |

Since he is based in the UK, have you tried contacting the British/Scottish embassy in Nigeria? You even know his location in Glasgow, find out the contact details (Twitter and Email) of the local Police Department there and send them details of how you got scammed by him with solid proofs and the damages he has done to you. I'm pretty sure they will be glad to deport his arse back to Nigeria if they find out your allegations are true. |

1 million will do the job quoted in that bill (9 toilets, 4 urinals and tiled floors) with automatic wash hand basin etc. with change left to pay a cleaner 15k for 6 months to be cleaning the toilets! |
princepee:In a sane country, armed with such intelligence report you would expect our security operatives to take action and ambush the terrorists. In fact, what they should be telling us is so and so number of armed men were apprehended in those locations after they were caught unaware. Why coming to announce to Nigerians where the camps of terrorists are? What should those who live nearby the camps do? Take up arms and fight them or pack their load and runaway? Why give out vital information that will make the terrorists change strategies? I just don't understand our government and security operatives! |
Funny thing is a few minutes drive from that same Tunga maji towards Giri area are two police road blocks mounted by corrupt police officers, a few hundred metres apart, steadily collecting bribe from 5 p.m to midnight. |
I think voting based on blockchain tech linked with BVN, biometric safeguard system (facial recognition and thumbprint) makes more sense. It might not be 100% secure ( nothing is 100% secure in this world anyway ) but it sure beats the useless paper ballot system we have been used to. It will also encourage voter participation. A huge section of Nigerians doesn't vote because of the unnecessary difficulty in obtaining a voters card, security threat at polling units via armed men snatching ballot boxes and the lack of transparency of collation and declaration of results. |
blackboy:It's not only the effect of Hushpuppi. One would expect that weeks after the idiot was arrested that Nigerians would lay low but No. The Nigerian cultists over there started their own cult wars, Nigerians were banned from seeking employment because of this. Now legit Nigerian workers are also affected based on this news. |
I'm not in support of rewarding bad behaviour but a significant proportion of that $15000 didn't come from her fans in Nigeria. South African, Ghanaian and Nigerian fans in Diaspora also contributed majorly. It was actually easier for them to contribute on Gofundme using PayPal and credit card than to vote as voting was strictly Nigerian based (MTN, Airtel) So the Gofundme was their like them doing their own quota. |
jidxin:You stopped reading! No, don't do that! Never do that! You need to read the whole information before claiming whether it's wrong or not! |
Thanks Sir naptu2 for this educative post. However, it is sad reading some replies on this thread which is quite obvious they never read the main article. It's even worrisome that some are trying to turn the thread into tribal wars. I just don't get you, Nigerians! |
Want to buy electronics? Buy straight from SAMSUNG, LG, Thermocool etc showrooms. Want to buy phones? Buy straight from Slot and co. Anything asides from that, your chances of being scammed are high. |
putin2:Funny thing is the guy hardly eats food. I even think he was once encouraged to be eating based on health issues. And yes, he has won challenges based on skills and talents not luck like the HOH games. It's fair enough if you don't like him but lying just to discredit him is quite unfair. |

From the perspective of a married person, 1 million qualified married You see these vices called Ego, Pride, Bitterness, laziness, lack of communication and financial issues are the major causes of downfall in marriages. Some people are bitter humans that they see every innocent actions of their spouse, in-laws and neighbors as reasons to quarrel. They assume every body is their enemy. Some will let Ego and pride kill them. Humility is never in their books. When one spouse offends the other, just to say "you are sorry' is an herculean task. Some just to accept apology is wahala. Yet will go on to vow for better for worse in church. |

chatinent:He doesn't have to regard it, that's why the courts are there to enact compliance! Any female that feels discriminated against in terms of properties and can afford the legal fees can simply walk to the courts for resolution. |
adioolayi:I do not disagree with you neither am I absolving the Discos of being culpable due to their nonsense high estimated billing but there's some truth in what the Discos are saying. A significant proportion of Nigerians do not pay their electricity bills. Many are into illegal connection of light and/or tampering of prepaid meter. |
