the bolded are things are it is more apt for a father to teach a son, the list makes sense but im struggling to understand why a mother should be the one to teach a son all these? with the exception of 20,12,9 & 5 i really dont see why a mother should be teaching a son all the rest. in fact most of these are better learnt from a dad.

the things mother should teach her son are:

1. how to take care of himself i.e cook and clean house

2. physical strength is not the only kind of strength nor is it the greatest kind either.

3. the value of a woman. (fathers should teach their sons how to treat women but the true value of a woman can only be be appreciated by having a good woman as mother)

those are the basics. other than these a woman has no business raising a man.

its a big mistake to declare your intentions from them start. in fact its a mistake to have intentions from the start... you should merely be trying to know each other at that stage and to achieve some level of friendship. the key is being able to recognize when the "handshake has passed the elbow". its almost impossible to smoothly progress to a stable long term relationship when you declare your intentions from the start. why? cuz the girl will naturally develop inhibitions towards you and the forming and all that formal process sets it and even if she likes yu too and says yes immediately the relationship is likely to crash cuz its built on no foundation at all...however when you get to know each other and develop a liking for each other(liking has nothing to do with attraction or passion) you can then declare your intention to take it further. another mistake is allowing liking to develop into fondness. so yur best bet is to make haste slowly... be patient until the time is right and then strike with all the expediency of lightening.

used to think like this but wen i started flying a lot i soon began to hate flying.... if i could join the military im heading straight for special forces.

Guseh: My share was only N45.5m – Airport robberies suspect

Lagos State Police Command has arrested members of a gang that allegedly robbed Murtala Muhammed International Airport on March 13, 2013.

The police on Tuesday said the gang was also behind another operation at the same airport in 2012.

One of the suspects, Atoba Adeniyi, who confessed to being part of the two operations, however, said his share was only N45.5m –N45m in the first and N500,000 in the second.

Adeniyi spoke while being paraded alongside six others involved in the robberies at the headquarters of the state command in Ikeja.

The suspects had stormed the airport on March 13 and carted away millions of naira and foreign currencies after killing two police inspectors.

It was learnt that the robbers, Ibikunle John, Atoba Adeniyi, Ibrahim Abdullahi, Kazeem Aderibigbe, Saheed Adekunle, Christian Joshua and Saheed Okunola, stole over $2.5m (N400m) in the 2012 robbery.

Adeniyi, who claimed he only drove those that carried out the recent robbery at the Airport, explained that he had a transport company and other businesses.

He said, “I was involved in the airport robbery in 2012. I am not naturally an armed robber. I used to be a truck driver in Bayelsa State and they (the other robbers) told me they needed my services. It was later I discovered that they wanted to stage a robbery. After the robbery, I was paid N45m.

“I went back to Ibadan in Oyo State, where I built a duplex and started a transport company. I cut all ties with the robbers and even changed my telephone line but they found me and told me that I must come for one last operation. After the second operation that two policemen were killed, I was given N500, 000 because things did not go as planned.”

John, who claimed to be a[b] pastor, said he only prayed for the suspects and gave them spiritual items [/b]to aid them in their operations.

He said he only met the suspects in February and had tried to dissociate himself from them but they threatened to kill him if he did not play along.

The suspect said, “I met them through a friend, Paul, who brought them for prayers at my church, the Way of Joy in Egbe, Lagos. Later, they confessed that they were robbers and threatened to kill me if I exposed them. I made them to swear an oath of secrecy and also gave them some spiritual backing.

“I never followed them to any robbery because I still have a congregation that needs me.”

Abdullahi, who is a labourer at the airport, said he was not an active member of the gang but only an informant.

Abdullahi, an indigene of Plateau State, said he usually helped people to carry luggage at the airport.

He said, “I never followed them to any operation. I only told them how they could steal money from some people at the airport that carry large amounts of cash. After the robbery in 2012, they paid me N1.5m for my cooperation.

“I collected it because the amount of money I was making from pushing around trolleys was too little. Imagine, I was earning between N700 and N1000 per day. It was just too little.”

The Commissioner of Police for the state police command, Umar Manko, said the suspects had been linked to a series of robberies in the South-West.

Manko said three vehicles and some rounds of ammunition were recovered from them.

He said, “During last month’s robbery, two policemen were killed. However, one of the robbers, later identified as Teslim Okunola, was also killed. From the corpse, we were able to gather information which led to the arrest of the other suspects.

“We recovered from them, five AK-47 rifles, four dynamites, 64 AK 47 magazines fully loaded, two local pistols, two masks and many charms.”

behold the root cause of your problem broda. your wife is threatened by your friend and probably feels exposed and thereby degraded; that yu seek his advice so much probably makes her feel less important cuz thats a role every good wife wants to play(and shuld play) plus seeking his advice on her when yu feel she is misbehaving, turns him into an enemy for her. believe me women take all these so important and not just any old woman at that but your wife.

there is no 100% win/win here cuz either way someone is gonna get hurt at least a little but its a no brainer that your wife shuld be more important than your friend and if she is not then yu shuldnt have married her in the first place but thats another topic for another day. if yu want to save your home you must:

1. find out exactly why your wife is upset and even if she is acting calm right now she is definitely upset. probe her a little and the flood-gates will open up to reveal the source of her hurt.

2. i'm sure that the issues i listed above are at least part of the problem in her mind so therefore when she opens up be prepared. this your friend must cease to become YOUR friend alone but rather your FAMILY friend. make sure you, your wife, your friend and his wife (if he has one) do something together like have dinner or just visit each other. let the tie between you and him extend to your families as well. if she sees him as a friend too, then half the problem is solved.

you must also make her feel that no matter how much you talk to him, she is still more important in your life. you would be making a big mistake for example if yu go talk to him about an issue before talking to your wife about it even if that is his field. little things make a big difference in relationships.

depends on a lot of things but this is kinda elementary..its not even complicated romance logic its just basic common sense. in the early stages of a relationship you must give her a bit of space... it must take tym before yu ask for her number and that only after yu are reasonably sure that she myt be interested in yu, time before yu eventually contact her and the date must be made to look like a casual hangout. thats if yu are dealing with a serious minded girl anyway.
