A number of women are going to church to look for something: sanity in their marriages, better lives for their kids etc.

Women are also the spiritual pillars of their homes. (which ought not to be).

Why would a man allow work or his daily responsibility
Interfer with his worship of God. To me that's not an excuse, after all the Bible said "there is time for everything ".

Just so curious.
I have never seen any church where we have more men in attendance.
Why is it that we have more ladies in churches than men?
Is it that men don't know how to serve God?
Are ladies more spiritual?
What's wrong with our male folk?

The Police Command in Enugu State has begun investigation into an alleged killing of one-year-and-five-month old baby by her mother in a community within the state.

The Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Ebere Amaraizu, said, in a statement on Sunday in Enugu, that the incident happened on May 30.

Amaraizu noted that the incident took place at Amankanu village in Amuri community within Nkanu West Local Government Area of the state.

He said that the woman, identified as one Ijeoma Nnaji, 30, allegedly killed her daughter, identified as one Chiemerie Nnaji over a yet to be established reason.

“It was gathered that the body of the child was now deposited at Agbani General Hospital morgue.

“The state Commissioner of Police, Mr Sulaiman Balarabe, has directed a full scale investigation into the incident which has begun at the state Criminal Investigations Department of the command.

“The suspect is helping in the investigation so far,’’ the police spokesman said. (NAN)

A woman has accused Brazil football player Neymar of raping her in Paris, according to a Sao Paulo police report seen by Reuters.

She was alleging that the world-renowned sports star drunkenly assaulted her at an up-market hotel in the French capital.

The accusation was the latest blow for Neymar, who last month, was stripped of the captaincy of the national team and has seen his international reputation suffer amid incidents of indiscipline.

The Brazilian’s representatives did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The Globo website, which first reported the news, said a representative for Neymar declined to comment, awaiting details of the allegations.

Neymar’s father, Neymar Sr., said in a local TV interview: “If public opinion is not cleared up, and if we can’t show the truth rapidly, this will snowball.

“If we have to show Neymar’s WhatsApps and the conversations with this girl, we will, because it is clear that it was a trap.”

He added that they were living “difficult moments.”

According to the police report, the unnamed woman told investigators in Sao Paulo that she met Neymar on Instagram.

She claimed he then suggested they meet in Paris, where he plays for Paris St Germain (PSG).

Neymar’s assistant sent her plane tickets and on May 15 she checked in to the Hotel Sofitel Paris Arc Du Triomphe, according to her account.

The Sofitel hotel did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The woman told police that Neymar arrived at the hotel that night “apparently drunk,” and that they talked and “caressed.”

“However, at some point, Neymar became aggressive, and through violence, practised sexual intercourse against the will of the victim,” the police report says.

The woman told police she returned home to Brazil two days later without telling French police about the alleged rape.

She said this was because she was “emotionally shaken and afraid to register the facts in another country,” according to the report.

Neymar is currently in Brazil, training with the national football team ahead of this month’s Copa America.

Late last month, the country’s football federation replaced him as captain for the tournament with his PSG team mate Dani Alves.

Earlier in May, Neymar was banned for three matches by the French football authorities for hitting a fan after PSG’s French Cup final loss to Rennes.

He was also reportedly involved in a dressing room fracas with his PSG team mates.

PSG did not immediately respond to a request for comment, while Brazil’s football federation (CBF) also declined to comment. (Reuters/NAN)

An FCT High Court in Maitama yesterday remanded one Philomina Chieshe and five other Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board officials over their involvement in the disappearance of N35m from the sale of JAMB e-cards in Benue State.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) alleged that Chieshe, a sales clerk with JAMB, told an investigative panel that she could not account for the money she made in previous years before the board stopped the sale of scratch cards.

She reportedly claimed that the money was swallowed by a snake in Makurdi, Benue State.

Cheishe reportedly told the panel that her housemaid had connived with another JAMB employee to, “spiritually,” through a snake, steal the money from the vault in the accounts office. She was arraigned yesterday alongside Samuel Umoru, Yakubu Jekada, Daniel Agbo, Priscilla Ogunsola and Aliyu Yakubu on eight counts bordering on refusal to account for the board’s money between 2014 and 2016. They however pleaded not guilty.

Justice Peter Afen thereafter ordered them remanded in the custody of the EFCC, and adjourned the case until June 3.

I know many girls and ladies gonna be angry with this post but try learn more about it . Men!!!!!!!! Guys, how do some of you even cope with dating a broke girl? I mean:
1. A girl who doesn't have transport fare to see someone who she claims she loves every damn time.
2. A lady who can't get you a birthday or a Valentine's day gift, but expects you to bring down the world for her during hers.
3. Someone who can't comfortably call you on phone for 5mins. Always flashing and complaining she doesn't have airtime.

4b. Even if it's an occupation, what services is she actually offering to be privileged to receive such benefits?
4c. Or is she a ghost worker? ( NB: sex is not a benefit ONLY to men ) How do some guys manage to date such ladies?
5. No wonder suicide and depression victims are mostly men.
6. See guy, don't ever date a broke girl no matter how gorgeous you think she is. They are serious liabilities.
7. Rather date a lady who adds something beneficial to your life. Things like emotional intelligence; financial intelligence; spiritual intelligence and other intelligence.
8. Date someone who's capable of calming the storm within your soul ( an average man has enough storms ); and not someone who adds stress to your life.
9. Forget that yehn yehn talk, don't tolerate any woman's brokenness or stupidity just because of her physical beauty.
10. There are actually a lot of extremely gorgeous and beautiful ladies with common sense.
11. So don't ever think of settling for less brother. One thing I've realized about all these broke girls is not that they don't actually have money...

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has set up an investigative team to probe four governors for corruption once they officially hand over in May.


The governors are Rochas Okorocha of Imo State, Abdulfatah Ahmed of Kwara State, Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State and Abdulaziz Yari of Zamfara State.

Governor Yari was alleged to have diverted N500million and $500,000 from the state coffers in 2017. The money, part of Paris Club refunds disbursed to states, was recovered from two firms, First Generation Mortgage Bank Limited, and Gosh Projects Limited, linked to Yari.


Also, Amosun would be investigated following a petition written by the Committee for the Protection of Peoples Mandate, accusing Amosun of misappropriation of N4billion Anchor Borrowers’ Fund given to the state by the Central Bank of Nigeria.

The group claimed that Amosun deceived Godwin Emefiele, the CBN Governor, when he came to the state for inspection while also insisting that Amosun has abandoned the project and diverted the funds for personal use.

On his part, Okorocha was accused of moving over N1billion from the state government to aid the campaign activities of Uche Nwosu, his son-in-law. The commission had arrested Uzoho Casmir, Accountant-General of Imo State, for assisting Okorocha to move the said funds. Ahmed, outgoing Governor of Kwara State, was said to have successfully diverted the sum of N1billion from the state coffers, a few days before presidential election.

The EFCC had earlier arrested six commissioners and government officials who might be involved in the criminal act. The commission stated that bank officials have been invited for questioning and have also made documents available to the commission. The EFCC confirmed that investigations are ongoing and any political office holder found culpable of corruption would be prosecuted.

Like the poster above rightly said, you need to make an upgrade in what you already know how to do best.

The truth is that, trying to pick up new interests after being in some other business for about ten years is going to be a lot harder than you think. And should be a thought process you should give room to rise when you are certain you have enough to spare, or even lose.

That aside, I think you should consider serving up some more, sell the machine which you think its state of obsolescence is making you look sort of irrelevant in the business. With proceeds, you can add to the already saved cash and buy a later model.


Bear in mind that while you are thinking that it has gotten obsolete, someone somewhere is just looking for any similar machine at all to start up with.


But then, I don't know a bit about what you are talking about. If what I have written is irrelevant, well, there you have it

Brother u already have an established business. Since u said the gestener machine is obsolete, why don't u do some little upgrade to trending technologies in printing business.

Find means to source for funds to compliment the one u have at hand. Going into an entire new venture won't be an all rosy affair.

thanks obinna84, I actually had that in mind, but you know it is easier said than done, I wish I could raise funds but it's not really an easy task considering the economy of the country
