Throwback: Simple set of questions since you refuse to be educated.
The East Timor you referenced, what led to their demand for a separation from Indonesia? Were they not a country of their own right who having forcefully secured their independence from Portugal, were then illegally annexed 9 days later by Indonesia who were supported by the US, UK and Australia?
Did the UN ever recognise Indonesia's ownership or control of East Timor when the illegal annexation occurred in 1976? Did UN not continue to recognise East Timor as a non-self governing territory under Portuguese administration?
Was East Timor a member state of Indonesia from the onset, and was the Indonesian rule over East Timor ever regarded as anything other than an occupation?
Did East Timor have any democratic and recognised representation of their people within Indonesia like the SouthEast have in Nigeria or did Indonesia impose one on them?
Bringing your argument back to Nigeria,
Was the SouthEast region not party to the constitutional debates that resulted to the establishment of an independent Nigeria?
Did Nigeria exist independent of the current SouthEast, which Nigeria then later annexed illegally with UN disapproval that still recognised the SouthEast as a territory being occupied by Nigeria?
I am happy you have finally moved from your invalid Scotland and Catalonia references, but your attempt to settle for East Timor which was a region illegally annexed by Indonesia, suggest that you need to continue your search for a suitable reference to justify why IPOB should be regarded as anything but clowns trying to usurp the existing democratic and constitutional leadership of the SouthEast - a member region of Nigeria since inception. For a start, your northern Nigeria's Caliphate overlords had since urinated on Nigeria's constitution when the far north unilaterally adopted Islamic Sharia criminal justice system. Because Force was used to create Nigeria. LORD Luggard NEVER CONSULTED ANY OF TODAY'S NIGERIA'S GROUPS WHEN HE AMALGAMATED THE GROUPS INTO ONE NIGERIA. Constitution conferences by all groups before or after the forced amalgamation are forced conferences, therefore are of no hindrance to any Nigerian group opting out of Nigeria. The pre- and post amalgamation constitution conferences are similar to the constitution conferences held under gunpoint by northern military dictators to fashion the present 1999 constitution of Nigeria, for the benefit of northern region of Nigeria. The products of those forced conferences are not binding on any Nigerian group poised to opt out of forced Nigeria. These destroyed all your arguments about Nigerian groups' participation in those constitution conferences. Today, many of the forced groups in Nigeria want to leave the forced country, Nigeria. Politics, not only armed forces and bullets, are used to keep a country one, as you believe. Today, only armed forces and bullets, not politics, are used by your northern Caliphate masters to still force one Nigeria. And you still believe you have a country. |

Peaceful referendum is all that is needed. It's not like the right of any Nigerian group to cite the 1999 military constitution of northern soldiers for a deterrent to a referendum over Biafra. |

aminulive: General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has urged Nigerians to quit talking about War in the country.
In a statement through his assistant general overseer, Pastor Johnson Adesola, at a Thanksgiving service in Lagos, Adeboye advised Nigerians to focus on Praying for the country. He added that the country can only achieve Economic growth in a time of peace.
He further stated that the country should not go back to its ugly past of conflict, pointing out that the 1967 civil war was bad for the country.
"I do not want war in Nigeria. Please stop talking about war.We should now concentrate on praying that God should restore the glory of Lagos and Nigeria, in general.I believe that if there is no war, Nigeria shall be great again."
https://politicsngr.com/2017/10/28/biafra-stop-talking-war-adeboye/ Biafrans ask for referendum not for war. Referendum is the most important piece of democracy. Anybody who opposes referendum asks for war. Nigeria's present constitution was supervised by northern Nigeria's military dictators ostensibly carrying AK47 rifles as they dictated to the constitution drafters they appointed or s/elected to the constitution conferences. That constitution was not subjected to any popular referendum, therefore, cannot be cited to stop any Nigerian group going for a referendum to separate from Nigeria. That's why it is foolish to compare Catalonia referendum to future Biafra referendum. Catalonia participated with rest of Spain in a democracy to draw up Spain's constitution. Furthermore, Spain's constitution was subjected to referendum. |

Stop this unhealthy delusions. Yes, Catalonia went against the constitution it participated with rest of Spain in a democracy to prepare in 1978, and voted for, adopted through referendum. That's why it is having the obstacles from rest of the world. No body voted in a referendum for Nigeria's constitution which was supervised by northern soldiers unarguably carrying AK47 rifles and dictating to the drafters of the constitution who the dictators either appointed or s(elected. Regional leadership? You know truly well that Nigeria was politically restructured by northern military dictators and gave undue political over-representation to the northern region, therefore, any southern politician who does not sing the tune of northern Nigeria's political class is automatically sieved off from Nigeria's political process. That's how it's difficult for any political representatives from the south to go to Nigeria's parliament to ask for referendum or separation. |

No wonder that block head is typing rubbish The EU, Spain and others couldn't approve Catalonia's referendum because in a democratic environment in 1978, Catalonia's representatives and political parties participated in drawing up, voting for and approval of Spain's present Constitution; and the constitution was subjected to popular referendum to all Spaniards who voted and adopted the constitution. In Nigeria, military dictators from the north progressively organized constitution conferences, supervised the conferences and approved Nigeria's present constitution, which was not subjected to any referendum before the dictators imposed the constitution upon all in one Nigeria. Therefore, Nigeria's constitution is not binding to any group going for separation referendum. When ignorant people or House Niggers talk, like you do .... |

presidency: 8 Takeaways from President Muhammadu Buhari’s Visit to Turkey from 18- 22 October, 2017. #PMBinTurkey.
From 18- 22 October, 2017, President Muhammadu Buhari was in Turkey for a short State Visit where he met with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey, in Ankara for bilateral discussions and also participated in the ninth D-8 Summit at the Lutfi Kirdar International Convention and Summit Centre in Istanbul, Turkey.
Here are 8 highlights of President Buhari’s visit to Turkey: 1. On Security, Nigeria and Turkey agreed to partner in fighting transnational crimes, including the smuggling of illicit arms and drugs.
2. On the humanitarian crisis in Nigeria’s North- East, Nigeria and Turkey discussed the possibilities of collaboration in handling Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and refugees.
3. On Civil Aviation, Turkey made a case for a Turkish Company interested in bidding for the concession of the Abuja Airport. The delegation led by President Muhammadu Buhari informed the Turkish delegation that the airport concession process in Nigeria is ongoing and Turkish investors are welcome to participate. Turkey also made a request for increased air transportation slots for Turkish Airlines.
4. On Trade and Investment, Presidents Mohammadu Buhari and Recep Tayyip Erdogan individually outlined ways to increase the size of trade and investment between Nigeria and Turkey.
5. The Nigerian delegation brought home lessons from Turkey’s use of Build- Operate-Transfer (BOT) model for funding infrastructure.
6. On Education and Health Matters, the Nigerian delegation accepted an offer by the Turkish Government to support the Maarif Organization for Education to set up schools and hospitals in Nigeria.
7. On Defence, Nigeria and Turkey agreed to strengthen the defence and military cooperation initiated by them a few years ago. Recall that the Defence section in the Turkish Embassy, Abuja was established 2013 and the Nigeria’s Defence section in the Nigerian Embassy, Ankara in 2016.
8. On the sidelines of the D-8 Summit, President Muhammadu Buhari held a bilateral meeting with Pakistani PM Shahid Khakan Abbasi, in Istanbul and the two countries agreed to revamp the Nigeria-Pakistan Joint Commission. President Buhari also met with President Alpha Conde of Guinea. Nigeria is inching faster to become am Islamic Caliphate. The Okorochas, Wikes, Ugwuanyis, Umahis, Ikpeazus, Okowas, Dicksons, Ngiges, etc shall fly abroad with their kin when the real Jihad comes up. That Turkey Conference is a meeting of selected Islamic countries. Nigeria is not an Islamic country, it is nearly equally divided between Christians and Muslims. Any Nigerian leader associating the hole country with Islam is a trouble shooter. |

DONSMITH123: Ade Adesomoju, Abuja
The Federal High Court in Abuja on Wednesday gave the court bailiff five days to serve former President Goodluck Jonathan with the subpoena compelling him to appear in court with respect to the trial of a former National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Olisa Metuh.
The court also ordered the counsel prosecuting Metuh, Mr. Sylvanus Tahir, to persuade the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to explore administrative means of ensuring that the Department of State Service produced the detained former National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki, in court on October 31.
Upon applications by Metuh, the court had issued two separate subpoenas on Jonathan and Dasuki, compelling them to appear in court on Wednesday.
But both men were, however, absent from court on Wednesday.
Justice Abang noted in his ruling on Wednesday that without the two summoned witnesses appearing, the court might not be able to make any progress in the case.
He also noted that while Dasuki had been served with the court subpoena, Jonathan had yet to be served so could not be blamed for failure to attend court on Wednesday.
But the judge noted that singular attempt by the court bailiff to serve Jonathan personally with the witness summon at his home in Abuja, was not sufficient.
He therefore directed the bailiff to take further steps to ensure personal service on Jonathan within five days from Wednesday.
He said if after five days, the bailiff was unable to serve Jonathan personally, Metuh, who was the one who applied for the subpoena, should kick-start the process of serving the ex-President through substituted means.

Irukkanews: The family of slain the 17 year old boy in what is been suspected to be a ritual murder have raised alarm about a suspicious foul play in the case of the arrested ritual murderer Ifeanyi Okpoko, who was last Thursday taken to the Force Headquarters, Abuja, by the Homicide section of the Nigerian Police without any notice. Okpoko had on Sunday October 1st abducted 17 years old Chidera Ezeanya at Umunnama Village, Eziowelle in Idemili North Local Government Area and tied him on a crane until he died and when his body was discovered the next day, some vital organs were missing.
The suspected ritual murderer who prior to this heinous crime had been involved in other dangerous crimes, including engaging the men of the Nigerian Police in a shoot-out at Ajao Estate, Lagos was arrested by the men of the Ogidi Police in Idemili, Anambra State where he was kept until last week Thursday. However, the family of the deceased are now lamenting that the Police wants to help the suspect to escape justice.
According to the counsel to the family, Barr.Patrick Ekwunife, Ogidi Police gave the suspect the liberty to be using phone in the cell with which he is still making contact with the members of his dreaded gang that are yet to be arrested. He said the suspect even made a post on his facebook page, bragging that nothing would happen to him. According to him, the suspect even had the audacity to tell the Commissioner of Police in Anambra state that the allegation against him was not murder but mob action and as such the charge should be changed. Ekwunife said the family of the complaint are not party to the transfer of the suspect from Ogidi Police Station to Abuja, adding that the office of the Inspector General of Police is also not aware of it.
"I have written a petition to the Office of the Inspector General of Police. However, I was told that before signal came from the IGP`s office, another signal which I don’t know the source came, directing the Anambra State Police to transfer the suspect to Abuja. I want the world to know that the Police at Ogidi want to help a ritual murderer to escape justice. How on earth can somebody who is under arrest for ritual murder be allowed to be using phone in the cell with which he is using to communicate with the others members of his gang who are still at large.
With the same phone, he has been sending threatening text messages to the members of the family of the deceased and bragging on his Facebook page that nothing would happen to him, and to prove that he meant what he is saying, he had contacted a lawyer who wrote a petition to an unknown police division and last Thursday, we were told that he has been transferred to Abuja.”Ekwunife said
