Actually they do only if it's not for their selfish reasons. It could be the tribe, family, or maybe the mum does not want the child away from her. Some mums can be over pampering and over protective.

It could also be she has a lady for the son to marry (in most cases the ladies turn back and become the mother in law worse night mare).

For people saying she must have done this and that for the woman to dislike her, abegi forget it, if the boy mother does not like you, she no like you be that.

Even when mother's put their sons girlfriend to test by watching her to see if she will do any domestic chores when visiting the boy is just too childish. Even if she does it doesn't mean she will do it in her husband house well or do it when next time she visit you after they are married. Infact that does not make her a good wife, only time will tell.

Mums please just let your kids be, give them your blessings and pray for them. No one is perfect,

Are these underage kids ophans?
How do they live their parent care in promise of greener pastures at that age?
Why aren't they in school?

Most of the problems we are having in and outside the country should first be resolve within us from small circle such as family up bringing, school etc.

The woos of giving out underage kids as helpers or care giver is nothing to write home about and yet we still allow them to travel abroad, these are still kids for Christ sake.

Even if as parents we feel the suffering is too much and need thing to improve please leave you kids out of it if you will not lead them right, don't let them suffer for things you have laid down. Don't let them be the ones to put it right, please .
