Romance › Re: Help! People Think My Gf Is Ugly by Killz3(m): 6:20pm On Feb 01, 2012
Emzybrown:
Hello nairalanders,i got a gf to me i dont care about beauty but i think shes intelligent and outspoken buh 99% of my friends and family think she is ugly, anytime we go out people think i made a bad choice,am even ashamed this days to introduce her to people as my girl friend, pls advice needed should i dump her or how can i overcome this feeling of shame.
If honestly you dont care about beauty, what is the basis of your shame? She's intelligent and outspoken, desirable traits as far as you are concerned but you are allowing friends and family influence your decision? Would you rather prefer a pretty girl who everyone would be happy seeing, but deep down her intellectual capability is below zero? Well, the matter has gone out of hand now, because you are already regretting your decision and you are ashamed of her, even to the point of not wanting to introduce her to people. That is a bad sign as far as i am concerned. Honestly speaking, i could write a paragraph on how you can, and why you should overcome feelings of shame, but the effort will be futile! 99% of people around you dislike her facial features + you are ashamed of her = Catastrophic Damage to the relationship! Therefore, benevolently, graciously let her go. She'll feel sad, she may even cry but it will not matter anymore to her the moment she meets someone who would love her the way she is! She's intelligent, and that's a plus for her! Now, to you. . . In your next relationship, try as hard as possible and learn how to protect your own interest first, before the interests of others. Your happiness should be more important to you than what your friends, or your family thinks & want. Dont bother trying to overcome the feelings, cos you CANT! The feelings have eaten too deep into you. You should be proud of what you have, no matter what! A quick rhetorical question: What will you do if you get married, and something unfortunately happens to your wife's face, permanently scarring it?

Home Cooked Date

Tom met his close friend Jerry for guidance, and narrated to him that he recently met a girl of his dreams. He asked Banta’s advise as to how should he proceed now!

So wise Jerry said, "Well Send her roses, and on the name card invite her for a home-cooked meal."

Tom liked the idea, so he invited the woman.

Next day after the dinner Jerry called Tom and asked him how did the home-cooked dinner go.

Tom cried, "It flopped miserably."

Jerry asked, "Why? Didn't the girl come at your house?"

Tom said, "She came, but she refused to cook and left angrily!"

Firstly not all women in labor want their men there, note that. I've seen cases where women told the doc to chase the man away cos he is responsible for the pain she is going through, how she hates him and would never get preggers again, all due to the pains of labor.
I wasn't talking about normal childbirth but C section where she has to be on anesthesia and fast asleep,do you even know that some doctors don't allow the man into the theatre or labor room?
WTF! They did it together. . . It's a collabo! angry

so what you are saying is that a poor man can ask his wife to "wait" through childbirth but CANT ask people to wait to sign a contract? you are making it sound like childbirth is a timed effort and you know exactly when the little one is going to pop.

here is a clue also that you seem to forget: any woman in labor will need her man to stand by her and help her go through the damn pain and suffering. at that moment, that lady NEEDS her man the most!

now the important question is: what is more important: being there for your family when they need you the most or dismissing this requirement to go and sign some contracts? NOTHING, i repeat N O T H I N G should get a man away from there!
From their replies, even from freecocoa, MONEY is more important! Oh lawd! grin grin
Romance › Re: How Do U Handle An Issue As Complex As This? by Killz3(m): 12:44am On Feb 01, 2012
i had to go back and read what the big deal was all about, and only could understood the part about the C section and leaving to sign the contract.
i would therefore say that (IMHO) NOTHING will ever equal to witnessing the birth of your first child, NADA! this is one of the most important thing that i have had the pleasure to witness (coupled with cutting the umbilical cord) and i could only express myself with TEARS OF JOY. shiiiit, even if that was a 1billion naira contract, it would have had to WAIT!!!!
God bless you! cool
^^
LOL,walai I didn't see where the post said it was his first child, what I was even saying is that he could go and still come back to meet then in the theatre instead of forgoing the contract especially as a poor man.

Killz, for me to use that as my siggy, doesn't it tell you something?I was just painting a real life pix,its easier said than done you know.
It tells me you dont understand your own siggy! And you have to start reading posts well to know how best to channel your replies! wink

i think the problem is simply that "most" are LAZY! they dont want to work hard for theirs, they see someone driving a Range and they dont think to themselves:" i want to work hard to get me a car just like that" instead they say:"i want a car like that NOW, at any cost!"

most of our people dont see the value in hardworking, dont see the value of being proud of whats yours, many want to be as rich as Dangotes in ONE DAY, and to make matters worse, women are not helping at all by expecting these poor guys to ACT like the Dangotes. . . . . . . . so these guys (and girls) would gladly kill, rob, beg and degrade themselves for some quick phoney sense of "satisfaction" (or a fake sense of success)

^sadly, this is the reason why so many are easily bought, just drop a handful of Nairas into their sorry lives and they will be yours to do whatever you please.

here is money, go KILL, they will do it! here is some Nairas, go ROB, they will do it! here is some Nairas, open your nyansh, they will spread wide open (and that goes for WOMEN and MEN! some of the sickest pedos around the world know that, and they are now favoring west Africa (including 9ja) as a sex tourism destination, WAKE UP BROTHAZ and SISTAZ!!!!!
Haha! I cant laugh! grin
Their excuse is always things are tight, things are not going well. Yes! But desperation and frustration is a killer! People dont have a priority, or what it is they hold dear to themselves. And even if they do, the sound of "million" would break every barrier of commonsense they claim to have! Money is good, but the love of money, is BAD! There are some people on this thread that'll accept 100million Naira to shoot their mother! Damn! I'll rather die poor than sell my pride, dignity and exchange my values for money! I'll be happy to be the outcast!

the simple thing to do is to tell whatever prospective employer that you are on your way to your wedding and that you cant come right away, and that this deal will have to wait until the next day. anyone would understand, if they dont then i doubt you would want to work for them anyway.

there are things in life that are more important than money, if anyone hasnt realized that by now then i do feel sorry for them.

what else are you desperate people gonna do for money? drop your child on your way to hospital because of money? sleep with a she-devil because of money? lol
I'm flabbergasted too! The love of money has really eaten deep into the system of a lot of people! It's pitiable i swear!

Ms Brooks was having trouble with one of her first-grade pupils.

"Johnny, what is your problem?"

Johnny answered, "I'm too smart for the first Grade. My sister is in third grade and I'm smarter than she is! I think I should be in the third-grade too!"

Ms Brooks had had enough, so she took Johnny to the principal's office.

The principal agreed that he would give the boy a test and if he failed to answer any of his questions he was to go back to the first-grade and behave.

He started by asking Johnny some simple arithmetic.

"What is three times three?"

"Nine, Sir."

"How much is nine times six?"

"Fifty-four."

And so it went with every question the principal thought a third-grade should know. The principal looked at Ms Brooks and said, "I think Johnny can go to third grade! He seems smart enough."

Ms Brooks said to the principal, "Let me ask him some questions?"

The principal and Johnny both agreed.

Ms Brooks asked, "What does a cow have four of which I have only two?"

Johnny, after a moment, answered "Legs, Ma'am"

"What is in your pants that you have but I do not have?"

"Pockets!"

"What starts with a C and ends with a T, is hairy, oval, delicious and contains thin whitish liquid?"

"Coconut. !"

"What goes in hard and pink then comes out soft and sticky?"

The principal's eyes opened really wide and before he could stop the answer, Johnny was taking charge.

"Bubblegum!"

"What does a man do standing up, a woman does sitting down and a dog does on three legs?"

"Shake hands, Ma'am."

"Now for some "Who am I" sort of questions, OK? First one. You stick your poles inside me, you tie me down to get me up, and I get wet before you do."

Johnny, quick as ever, answered, "Tent!"

"OK, a finger goes in me. You fiddle with me when you're bored. The best man always has me first."

The Principal was looking restless and a bit tense.

But Johnny was on the ball with "Wedding Ring!"

"I come in many sizes. When I'm not well, I drip. When you blow me, you feel good."

"Nose."

"Right, I have a stiff shaft, my tip penetrates, and I come with a quiver."

"Arrow."

"Good, now for the last one. What word starts with an 'F', ends in K', and means a lot of heat and excitement?"

"Fire truck, Ma'am!"

The principal breathed a sigh of relief and said to the teacher, "Send him to university!!!!, I got the last ten questions wrong myself!" grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin
