Note: when I say that we were born with a measure of the Holy-Spirit, im not referring to baptism in the Holy-Spirit or Baptism with the Holy-Ghost evidenced by speaking in tongues etc, here. Im just saying God deposits a measure of His spirit resident into everyman, thereby creating an awareness within that man that there is God, this helps man to recognize God, know that He is there. Its something in our subconscious. An outright sinner knows what is wrong or right, and even when hes in the sinning act, he knows he's commiting a sin against somebody.

If you say that Man is born without Gods Spirit in Him, then we say Men are born pure-aethists, not even sinners, since we never knew that God exists. The fact that man is born in Sin, of a sinner who knows God's will, and perhaps didnt obey it means that he would have obeyed God, but as aresult of indwelling sin, cant obey God. Now, until that man comes to a realization that he has done wrong, sinned against God(note, man has the knowledge that he sins against God) and as such needs God's forgiveness.

Example: David in Ps 51:11 - Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
The holy spirit David is referring to here is not the baptism in the Holy Ghost, coz at this point he was not even born again. He had lost it, he had fornicated, he was in a repenting state, yet, something within him was telling him he had sinned against God. Thats why he prays for "Ps 51:12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit." restoration of salvation again.

Another thing: when we give our lives to Christ, we are given the Holy Spirit in a greater measure, than when one wasnt born again. The Holy Spirit at that point now guides. Note that until the day of Pentecost, the disciples hadnt been baptized with the Holy Ghost, even while Jesus was around. Now after Pentecost, they had the full measure of the Holy Spirit, for which they could do exploits.

as you wouldn't be able to give me a compelling reason for your faith, let me give you another example:

example: suppose, that you found a very rare treasure, one of great value/price, suppose you found it either by chance, or for which you have earnestly searched for all your life, and finally you found it, dont you think you would be able to give concrete answers to these questions:
- what you found? how it looks like?
- where/when you found it?
- how you found it?
- what it means to you?
-what you can achieve with it, and
- how your life has changed after finding this rare treasure.

Definitely, you would be able to answer all those questions, should you find such a rare treasure.

*****Now, if someone comes to you with some claim that he has found a great treasure, and he describes it using the best of qualitative-adjectives, and you ask such a one the questions above, and he is not able to give you an answer, in all honesty, dont you think you would doubt his claim of a great treasure-find?

If someone were to come to you seeking for what you have gotten "Aethism" and you arent able to show him the 1,2,3, shoudn't he conclude that you are just doing make-believe?

How can I be ignorant about science and logic? Tell me the science and logic behind homosexuality. Explain the details from biology 101 - how it came about, and then tell me whether that science is really science or insanity. And i made reference to human copying animals since you were taking a supposed fact that homosexuality among animals was a license for human homosexuality.

Trying to make you see the light on this issue that "God makes no man gay", that its a moral decadence in the society, and that homosexuality is an evil we have to purge, has nothing to do with God giving anyone a brain. Yes, God has given all of us brains, to think, help ourselves, make sane-decisions(with emphasis on SANE), and unfortunately many dont use it appropriately, thats why some can wake up and say they have become homosexuals, and yes, there'll be people to defend them. get it

Where the Holy spirit is, the devil shouldn't be. Am i lost?

Perhaps you are at cross-roads, don't know what to do, there'll be definitely 2-voices whispering in one form or the other to you, "do this", "don't do it", "do this", "don't do it",, one will definitely be louder than the other. If you are conversant with Gods word, its like this: whichever voice seems to tell you to do something contrary/against what God's word says is not the Holy Spirit, because God wont contradict Himself. Then you'll know what to do.

Another thing: the devil's spirit is a shouting spirit, he's after eventual panick and confusion. When for the fact that you're about to do something is making you panicky and confused, its better to relax, take a break, get some air, come back to it and the situation will either sort itself out or you'll know what to do. The Holy Spirit is a gentle Spirit. When He tells you to do something, you'll observe you usually have peace of mind afterwards!

Every human is born with a measure of the Spirit of God. Yes, when one is Born Again, the Holy Spirit fills the heart of the child of God to a measure where he can now do things through the aid of the Holy Spirit.

See, the unregenerated Man has the power to silence the Spirit of God in Him, through total rejection of Gods word, continuous sin. It is the will of God that all men should be saved, but man will never be saved without the aid of the Holy Spirit. The work of the Holy Spirit in an unregenerated heart is to instruct the sinner to surrender to God, it is to convicting hearts of sin through the Word - Jn 16:7. Its not every body that got saved in Church. A testimony of someone includes waking up one morning and he hears a voice telling him he must go to a certain church and the exact description of that church was given to him, now he's a Christian serving the Lord.

Ex: Stephen told his listeners not to resist the Spirit Acts 7, this was because these guys resisted the spirit-led prophets who were led by the spirit, yet deep inside them(with the law and the prophets that they have read about), they knew that what they were doing was wrong, yet bcoz of the hardness of their heart, they wont let go. The truth is many of the sinners of today know the truth, but they dont want to obey that inner voice calling to them. While sinners can resist the Spirit, believers can quench the Spirit, coz the fact that you say you are a believe, you should be led by the holy-spirit, thats the ideal, but perhaps such a believer wants to have his/her own way sometimes, while the holy spirit has to shut up, and then later he/she is back into holy-spirit leadership,

Its like this: it took me a long time to learn how to swim. First I thought i would drown, even after reducing all the water in the pool to like 4ft. Immediately i tried laying on the water, twas like i had already drowned, coz my mindset was fixed at drowning once inside water. All i could do was to stand in one place and be throwing my arms around, but definitely my feet had to touch the ground. I almost drowned once tho, which was coz i opened my mouth under water, until someone taught me that i should believe that the pool water could carry me, that the water in the pool weighed more that I did, and that I coudn't drown, that I should just let myself go, and release myself and lay on the water. I decided to try it, and like I dream, i didnt drown. Soon i learnt how to move forward. Now ive graduated from the pool to the beach.   and I can do like 15ft already. Thats it.

You must first believe that God is right there by you, and He has something to tell you. That will aid your listening.
Dont forget, you dont try hard to listen to God, its like someone trying so hard to pose, Just be yourself, pray for, expect and wait for God's guidance when in a difficult situation.

This is just kind of my opinion but i think the Holy spirit lives in everyone but some deeper then some. Because everybody has that 'coincence' telling them not to do wrong, Christian or not Christian. Does anyone agree with me?

Yes, everyone has a concience telling them the difference between right or wrong. Even the armed robber knows its wrong to steal. What makes him disobey his conscience? its not that he actually disobeys his conscience, its just that he has gotten to a level where whatever his conscience says has no more meaning, just like someone making noise.

Every hyman being(old/young)has a measure of the Holy Spirit. It takes a personal effort to realize the presence of Gods spirit in you, welcome Him as been there, and allow Him to take full control. "Allowing" the Holy Spirit to take control will entail surrendering your heart, mind, and thought pattern to God. God never forces himself on anyone. We are all free-moral agents, all free to make a choice. thats why you can see some peeps, even though they come out of good Christian families, they choose to follow evil ways instead. They made a choice.

Let me give my own testimony: As a student, it happened in an Adv. Maths class, I walked into the class totally unprepared for an exam. In fact, I never got news, or wind to even go over previous lectures. I had walked in before I knew what was up, so I couldnt escape and claim absence so as to give me time to study. In fact, the exam started like 15mins before i bounced in. My total unpreparedness was my fault. I sat down, got the testpapers, looked through questions 1-3 and knew nothing. I was like, im done man, so i decided to pray, and I think i genuinely prayed that day coz i was at the firefront. After praying, suddenly i discovered twas like i could hear someone whispering to me what i should write, "oya, question#1, here and there. I was totally surprised, but do you know, i answered the three questions, using about 8-pages of full-scap sheets of papers for my solutions/calculations and I was the first to finish. I heard everything. I submitted my papers, walked out, before i remembered what happened. I totally forgot about the test. When the results were released, I got a perfect score, in so much that when my paper was handed back to me, i was wondering how come i answered everything correctly. It was then I remembered twas the Holy Spirit working to tell me what i should do. Doesnt the Bible tell us he'll guide us in all our ways?  

I mean the NL lawyers, by the time they come in and tell you to prove that: God says: I will never leave you or forsake you (Hebrews 13:5), since God has never dialed their number to confirm his presence.

Very veryvery true. Its so hard to be a Christian and a young person at the same time. Why? because everything around us as young people are at war against everything Godly.

But how come one min i'm not remembering God and doing my own thing, the next min im on fire for God and make plans i can't keep!! Somebody that knows God help me!! Pray for me! The battle is getting harder!!

1-min with God, the next doing your own thing, no sweat, it just shows that you are perfectly human, and theres no problem with that. Nobody can pray for you better than yourself, coz when that person stops praying for you, you're back to square-1. My advice: draw near to God, He will draw near to you. How? Read your Bible, Pray always and think about doing right things.

Did you know what: what you think about plays out who you are. If you think about yourself, you'll remain yourself. If you think about God, He'll help you to become like Him, He'll help you to do what is right, and what pleases Him. Very soon, things you found hard to do before will get done in a jiffy.
