Well, first off, oil was never at $0 per barrel. That was the local American price, at which local American crude oil salesmen sell their oil to their local buyers within the States.

Oil at that point in time on the international market...which is different from the American market ...was selling at $24 per barrel...and this was harmful to Nigeria because our crude costs $24 to produce.

And yeah, it is your responsibility to pay a private company for the services it gives you...and here in Nigeria, we pay for fuel at the cheapest rate in West Africa (in Liberia it is close to N400 per liter, and all our neighbours pay at N300 and above...and Niger and Benin produce oil too).

If you were a businessman, would you start giving out your goods for free just because times are hard? If you did that , you would be broke, and you would sack staff.
Sir,we are not collecting fuel from filling stations as Government pallatives and incentives. We pay !!! So you can see that millions of nigerians have been paying for that. All i am saying is that the Overral Crude fall during this Covid 19 pandemic did not completely reflect in the price that we are paying right now.

There should have been a lower reduction. I see you might be into Oil business thats why youre trying to stand at the gaurd for the federeal government of Nigeria (in your mind).

When there are crisis, all companies have what we call " CMT" or " CMU" Crisis management team or Unit. It is their responsibility to figure out how to get the company afloat so that it wouldnt sink.

Not by putting pressure on the citizens and inflating their oil price in the midst of crisis just to feed their Already rich Staff.

Hope you get it now.

Have a blessed day.

Yes, because oil prices were going to rise again, and because most marketers still have to pay salaries for many of their staff, who are sadly ordinary Nigerians like you and me.

Welcome to the life of a businessperson.
When it was low, almost 0$, how much are we supposed to have been paying ? Is it our responsibilties to pay for the salaries of people the PRIVATE companys hired.

No, it isn't overpriced. Infact, we pay the lowest price for fuel in the whole West African subregion....all our neighbours pay at least N300 per liter of fuel...including countries like Niger where fuel costs N350 per liter.

Infact, it is the subsidy that government is paying that keeps fuel prices at N123.5 for now.

And government want's to hands off oil because over the last 15 years we have paid subsides for fuel to the tune of N15 trillion naira. That's money that could have gone for educaiton, health, etc. And because oil prices are too low for us to keep on paying subsides effectively. We need oil as high as $139 per barrel as our breakeven oil price. It has never been that high for some time.
It was highly overprice. The news was all over the world even for the past 3 weeks now. Oil price per a barrel almost dropped to 0$ per a barrel but we were still paying N125 per a litre.

"I told him to"
"I want him to"
"I warned him not to"
"I advised him to"
"He wouldn't listen to me" and all the other stuffs.

It appears to me that you are foisting your opinion, choices and wishes on your partner. You want him to live his life your way, pursue his dreams following your chart and run his race with you as guide. Perhaps you want to be the Kapellmeister while you lead the orchestra that is his life.

If he were to follow your advise and it backfires or doesnt yield the expected fruit, who would take responsibility? There is something some of us do not acknowledge which is that not everyone wants to be wealthy, some people just want to be successful at what they do, some people just want to lead a simple and fulfilled life.

I also find your intentions questionable. Do you have all those "nice thoughts" for him because you love and wish him well, or because you want him wealthy enough to marry you next year and give you "the life"? Its a shame that you say you're not proud of someone ou claim to love and painting him as some loser.

There comes a time in the life of a man when he wants to do things his own way, steer his own ship, make his own mistakes and celebrate his own little victories.

I would have asked you to talk to him, but I believe you guys have talked about this over and over. So, the choice is yours to walk or stay
How most of you reason really shock and Marvel me. You are shopping for a man you will control.

Go and get a Toy.

Imagining telling a man what "YOU' want him to become like he does not have his personal dreams and aspirations.

I used to take covid 419 serious in Nigeria but not anymore. Saw a police man yesterday and he asked me why i dont have my mask on,i told him that i am tired of wearing a mask under this heavy Sun.

He shaked his head and said "Then Praise us who wear this everyday and stand on the high way,he then said "my brother its really not easy wearing the mask when theres no need.

Me and my friends bursted and laughed.

He is not serious, he is just saying what his Masters told him too. my dad, brothers and cousins prays in the masjid, and the masjid is literally inside our home. No one catches the coronavirus. I still don't know anyone or saw even a video of Covid19 patience in nigeria. Besides people dancing in isolation center. Coronavirus in Nigeria is a scam. We will go and pray on Eid ground. Let him sit on his thrones and leave us alone. At this junction even Buhari can't stop us praying Eid.

My friends, in the world we live in today we have to be SELF RELIANT. We should never put our trust or fate in the hands of the world. To many want to take advantage of us. Many are waiting for us to make a big slip. We must always look to ourselves and do what we can. I don’t believe anything any organization says. I don’t believe anything. This sometimes sounds like it was an evil plan. Came out of control and they had to say something that sounds good. This one world order formed by world organizations is not good for humanity. We don't need those mass global organizations anymore. Keep it nationwide only. Corruption is the most widely spread outbreak in the world. The Coronavirus is nothing compare to Corruptionvirus. No surprises there. All these ‘world’ organizations gain more power and most importantly money from the one world order. UN. Unesco, EU, Olympic Committee, AU, WHO etc etc.
thats why they hate people who think outside the box, corrupt monoliths. Well it seems pretty clear now that this virus is being use by the global elites to take back the control they have lost in the last few years.
Oga abeg your blood don dey hot already for this early morning.

This my next door neighbor, her husband is always beating her even in front of their kids. It has become a norm for her to receive beating two to three times weekly, he beats her and sometimes locks her outside with her two kids.

Most of the beating always happens when she asks him money for food, this her husband is rich always driving around with small girls in his car. When I ask her to leave, she would say no that she doesn't want her marriage to break up. I wonder what she is protecting. The type of abuses I am seeing, domestic violence is a norm, cheating is a norm.

Nigeria marriages are scary.
I am moving to a new apartment, just if my neighbor's husband ends up killing her, I don't want to be interrogated for murder.
You mean like Sanders and the rest that killed thier husbands. Todays nigerian women are not enduring anything. Infact the men are the ones now enduring shits from these hoes.

Always talking shit.

Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN has reacted to a publication by Saharareporters with the headline "Revealed: 88 'Ghost Workers' Receive N48.2m Car Loan In Ondo"

Reacting to the news via his twitter account, Governor Akeredolu said the new development is one of the many fraud his administration has dealt with in the state public sector with the ongoing public service reform.

The Governor stressed that Saharareporters had covered one of the arrests made in April on its website and he vowed that his administration will continue to sanitize the public system.

In his tweets "One of many we have dealt with. Our Civil service reform efforts, which was covered by your website in April, has been uncovering all of these criminal elements in the system. We will continue to sanitize the system. READ HERE: http://saharareporters.com/2020/04/09/ondo-government-hands-over-civil-servants-police-over-financial-theft."

In April 2020, At least 25 civil servants under the employment of the Ondo State Government were handed over to the police for allegedly stealing public funds.

The civil servants were caught involving in all forms of employment racketeering and inputting fictitious names into the state's payroll system.

Broke man ,broke man if her father is not broke will she be totally dependent on you.

How old is she?

Is she educated?

Does she have a job?

Is the other sisters married and doing well than you people?

Is she from a wealthy home, like she is used to comfort already?

Which state do you reside?

See you cannot satisfy greed, your wife is a greedy person. How can your wife ask you to look for money for her to travel out then you feel you have a wife.

Work on your emotions don't allow the term wife to make you try to impress, if you put yourself in unnecessary pressure to make money and die before your burial another man will already be sleeping with her. She is the money type.

Tell people the truth and let them know their worth, I once told my fiancee I am not your responsibility, if you can't survive quit.

Don't regret beating her, though I don't subscribe to that.

Back to the main issue. Your wife needs your unreserved apology. You need remorseful which is through your attitude. Let her know you are deeply sorry.

To her, is she not working? Why have you refused to set her up in a biz? One problem I have realized in today's marriage is, finance. It's really creating a lot of issues in most marriage. As a man, if you earn from three sources, declare only two. Let her know how the money is spent to the last kobo. That was the initial problem, you need to fix that part asap
