The PhD holder who started teaching as a young man in Nigeria, is now a professor at the Terry College of Business, University of Georgia.

It's against the laws to drive a RHD in Nigeria. We have very insensitive and dangerously reckless drivers in death traps already, and most pedestrians outside you see walking are deep in thoughts and worries about where to get their next meal or solve a problem and aren't aware of their surroundings, you'ret driving such cars here will only increase the risk of accidents and collision exponentially.

Please I would like to know if anyone here has noticed this issue with the Lexus RX 2010; The transmission.jerks.when changing after the engine has warmed up. There is an indication on the dashboard showing check engine, but clears when the engine is cool. My mechanic said it is the module in the transmission that needs to be changed. I have previously changed the transmission oil and cleaned the filter not long ago, so that's out of it. Please I need your thoughts here as a second opinion if you have experienced same.

Hello guys,

I just bought a Foreign used VW Jetta 2006 and I noticed some few things.

1. I have to start the car like 4-5times anytime i bought fuel.
2. While test driving it for a whole day before taking it for small body work on the Venda, the car went off like 5times on a motion.
3. I also noticed a white smoke that fade away after few minutes.

Any help with this problem and recommendations of a good Volkswagen technician in Abuja.

Under the driver's side dashboard, there's a black button to reset TPMS.

Inflate all your car tyres to 30psi minimum (I usually recommend 33psi). Turn on your ignition to 'ACC' and allow all dash light show up, press that 'TPMS button' and hold it till the TPMS blinks. After wards, drive at speeds above 40km/h.


If it doesn't go off, scan the car abs and tpms.

I advise you to stay away from where government cars are serviced. You no be government. The same stick they will measure for the government is what they will for.

We all know dealerships are not reliable problem solvers all over the world. Their 1st business is to sell cars, the 2nd business is to pretend to solve your problem with high end tools.

When you eventually have a real mechanical problem, Elizade wont be there for you.

If only people will adhere to this priceless advice.

To add again, most government fleet and alot of corporate fleet are poorly mismanaged, shoddily repaired and are made to work for very long period of time, under very harsh conditions and driven in very terrible manners.

I think I have a copy of list of ridiculously silly things that was handed over to a client by some stealership some years back just to fix an ABS light on a 2013 corolla bought from them. Which by the way, wasn't still fixed and the owner was billed close to 2m.

How much did I eventually fix the error?

₦15,000 for a brand new sensor.
