There are two different cases. Innoson has won one and that case was a case of wrongful deduction from his account by GTBank. You guys haled the judiciary to be incorruptible for delivering that judgment. The other case is a forgery one and Innoson has been avoiding court summons. I suppose a clear conscience fears no accusation. The judge in the fraud case was forced to issue a bench warrant because of Innoson's attitude to the court. And here the judge is been castigated and the Judiciary is suddenly corrupt and serving Afonja's interest. If this country is to make progress, we have to stop castigating the Judiciary for doing their job. Juliusmalema: |
Who asked his opinion? We know them from antecedents. Na only dem no vote Abiola but go vote Tofa from NE. We say make dem play their own politiks leave Tinubu alone, dem no gree. Na wa o. quote author=silverbirdng post=79596717]Former National President of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) and erstwhile Vice-Chancellor of the Imo State University (IMSU), Prof Ukachukwu Awuzie, has said that it would be difficult for power to return to the Southwest in 2023 going by power equation in the country. According to him, even if the national leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, brings all the money in the world, he would not be the next President as the position will go to Northeast in 2023. “Before, the Sokoto emblem was ‘Born to rule’; now if you look at the six geo-political zones in the country, the Southwest has served for eight years, South-south six years, put them together it isn14 years, they left Northwest alone another eight years with two years of Yar’Adua, which is 10 years, only one zone out of the three, the Northeast has not gone, North-central has not gone, the Southwest has gone, the South-south has gone, it remains the Southeast. “Look at the number of years they have gone, South has covered 14 years; North has covered or will cover 10 years when Buhari completes his tenure. “I don’t think they would allow the West, even if it is Tinubu, let him bring all the money in the world, the President will go to Northeast in 2023,” he said in an interview with Sun newspaper. On the political situation in the country, Awuzie described it as wobbly, saying that sometimes it seems President Muhammadu Buhari is on holiday and detached from the problems plaguing the country. He said, “We have a wobbling leadership, sometimes it appears to me that our president is on holidays, he has to take grip of situations. “We are in a country you cannot go to bed with your two eyes closed, a country you cannot guarantee six hours of light, a country priding itself that we can produce 8,000megawatts when South Africa produces 30,000megawatts, you are talking of 8,000megawatts for a country of 200 million population, I think we have a long way to go. “What I am saying is that the leadership should be more pragmatic, we must look at harnessing the best; our problem in Nigeria is that we are not using the best to drive both the economy and governance.” See more here https://thickmatch.com/2023-tinubus-billions-cant-help-president-prof-awuzie/

Despite the exposure and education, this still came out from Agbakoba. Isn't it obvious politics is not about equitable distribution of post along tribal lines? Why give the elections and appointments a tribal colouration suggesting the SE was deliberately maltreated. Life is about choices and accepting the consequences. quote author=nairavsdollars post=79306433]Temidayo Akinsuyi, Lagos Chief Olisa Agbakoba (SAN), a former President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) on Wednesday has described as worrisome that no South Easterner is occupying any position in the first six political offices in the current administration. President Muhammadu Buhari is from the North-Central while Vice- President Yemi Osinbajo is from the South- West. Ahmad Lawan, Senate President is from the North- East while Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila the Speaker of the House of Reps is from the South- West. Justice Tanko Mohammed the Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) is from the North- Eastern state of Bauchi while Senator Ovie Omo- Agege the Deputy Senate President is from the South- South geopolitical zone. He also said the President Muhammadu Buhari’s speech on Democracy Day was not inspiring though it gave him a slight ray of hope. “I was not inspired because it was not the kind of speech that I expected. I expected a foundation laying speech; meaning that if you are building a house, you find a deal with foundation issues. I think Nigeria lacks the foundation and the fact that for instance, if you look at the first six highest political offices in Nigeria and there is no Igbo man is worrying which the President hopes to achieve development and success”. “I was hoping to hear a speech that focuses on the need for a strong, united Nigeria. I didn’t hear that. Notwithstanding, what I hear gives me a slight ray of hope. I was impressed with the issue of lifting 100 million people out of poverty in 10 years”. “I was impressed with the fact that there will be strong men to do the job. So, what I am looking at now is to watch out for the next few days to see the kinds of people that will be appointed to drive the ship of state” he said. https://www.independent.ng/non-inclusion-of-igbo-man-in-first-six-national-positions-worrisome-agbakoba/

So, Kola Ologbodiyan is insinuating Muslims are the ones responsible for the bloodletting. PDP members stole the country dry, impoverished the people and created a conducive environment for the general insecurity yet Kola is making such insinuation. They must have a short memory ote author=owisdom58 post=79011595]The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on Tuesday felicitated with the Muslim Community as well as all Nigerians on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Fitr. PDP said those behind bloodletting in the country should use the Eid-el-Fitr celebration to end the menace. In a statement by its spokesperson, Kola Ologbondiyan, the opposition party said the “successful completion of the Ramadan points to the triumph of our collective faith in God over the vicissitudes of life, both as individuals and as a nation.” PDP urged, “Nigerians not to forget the eternal lessons of the Eid-el-Fitr, but to always bring them to bear in all aspects of life, particularly in our dealings with one another. “Nigerians, especially those in leadership positions, should use the occasion to rekindle the spirit of honesty, selflessness, care and love for others, so as to guarantee a united, stable and prosperous nation ” PDP said. PDP also, “beckon on those behind various acts of violence and bloodletting in our nation to have a rethink, retrace their steps and join in the effort to rebuild our nation for the good of all.” The party urged all compatriots to use the occasion to reach out and share with those that are hurting, particularly the sick, the deprived as well as victims of acts of violence in various parts of our country. The party further wished Nigerians happy Eid-el-Fitr celebrations. Read the full statement here https://thickmatch.com/eid-pdp-rejoices-muslims-begs-behind-bloodletting-stop-killing/

But as CAN has identified this a problem ought to support the Government to clamp down on these worship centers and their owners. Unfortunately, CAN will rather shout that such a clampdown is a war against Christendom should the Government moves against the so-called magic centers. Magic practitioners are becoming so prosperous that even private jets are the new toys. Kudos to that Rwanda President, Paul Kagame. Blue3k2: |

[NBC is a disgrace for coming up with this foolishlaani excuse. Radio Biafra should be accorded recognition and funded by FG. quote author=iwaeda post=78728595] NEWS Fulani radio to educate herdsmen, fishermen, farmers, hunters — NBC Published Tobi Aworinde The National Broadcasting Commission has said the proposed Fulani radio station will broadcast “purely educational,” programmes designed to cater for the interest of itinerant fishermen, herders, hunters and farmers. It also called on all broadcasting stations to exercise restraint in the treatment of sensitive issues that could threaten the unity and stability of Nigeria. The commission, in response to criticism of the planned radio station by Federal Government to reach Fulani herdsmen, urged broadcasting stations to be professional and take guidance from the Nigeria Broadcasting Code, at all times. The NBC, in a statement on Saturday, reminded all broadcasters to be mindful of their social responsibility to promote the well-being and peaceful co-existence of the various groups in Nigeria in keeping with the objectives of broadcasting in Nigeria. It stated, “The commission is reacting to the media controversy over the license granted to the National Commission for Nomadic Education for the establishment of a radio station to operate on the AM band. “The National Commission for Nomadic Education duly applied for broadcast license in furtherance of its objectives to develop and maintain nomadic education outreach programmes, including electronically mediated ones. “The letter of provisional approval dated September 28, 2018, was issued to the National Commission for Nomadic Education. The duration of the license is from October 8, 2018 to October 8, 2023.” The NBC noted that the station’s programmes, which it describes as “purely educational,” were designed to cater for the interest of migrant fishermen, herders, hunters, farmers, and migrants. It added, “Consequently, it is a misrepresentation for any person or organisation to imply that the licensed station was just for a particular group. “The commission wishes to state that similar educational broadcast licences were issued to institutions of higher learning and other governmental institutions with comparable needs, such as the Armed Forces of Nigeria, the Federal Road safety Commission, and related institutions. https://punchng.com/fulani-radio-to-educate-herdsmen-fishermen-farmers-hunters-nbc/amp
