Whiteangel1234:Is Delta State which you people included in this your Biafra map part of the old Eastern Region of Nigeria? Mind you, I'm not against restoration of your Igbo Biafra. |
powerfulguy:Evil religion! Worshippers of the devil. Once you ignorantly convert to that religion just know that your sanity is finished! You will never remain the same; demonic forces will possess you to become violent! |
DoggoneDogg:No! Urhobo and Bini are offsprings of the same ancestors. They are brothers. Offshoot is like when you say "father and son". |
![]() Lovenorth:So also you must not form one country with those who dislike you! |
Cashsteady:Is China also small? Is Brazil also small? Is South Africa also small? Is Australia also small? Is Indonesia also small? Etc. You have no excuse for Nigeria's failure to provide good governance. |
Blackfire:By the time South gain power and give all key positions to Southerners, hope you won't also complain, hope you will still agree it should be based on competence? |
timesup234:It's clear that you are a fool to assume that a country that has 5800 nuclear warheads will fold its hands and allow another country with a mere 250-350 nuclear warheads to bomb it. Is it not the same China that America liberated from Japanese colonisation and occupation during the second world war?. You must be an ignorant kid. |
timesup234:You mean China that has only "350" nuclear warheads will destroy America that has a colossus "5800" nuclear warheads? How will they succeed with that? China is like "an ant" in deadly weapons-possession compared to USA. |
Patrioticman007:Has FG done the "needful" concerning arbitrary "alcohol ban" by the Kano State Govt? |
osuofia2:You claim to feed the South, yet there is imminent famine and hunger in the North, and none in the South. |
Mossadd:The same Taliban and the Mujahedeen chased out the Russian military forces from Afghanistan. Guerrilla warfare is difficult to fight, you know! |
zombieHUNTER:You mean Imo State has more crude oil than Bayelsa State? Because in production ranking, Akwa Ibom is first followed by Delta and Rivers. |
Ibkhaleel:At the same time you had groundnuts in the North, we had massive palm oil/palm kernel, rubber, cocoa and timber production in the South, which fetched Nigeria more money than what you produced up north during the colonial and the 1960s. If you are in doubt, the records are there for you to confirm. |
cheruv:Urhobo towns and villages are also in Patani LGA. They usually produce the Local Govt Vice Chairmanship position. |
aryzgreat:Have you been to Orogun kingdom? If you have ever been to Arhagba town and other communities of Orogun you will not argue with me. Arhagba speaks more of Igbo dialect (Ukuani-Igbo) than Urhobo even though they are Urhobo community. |
Daarreenn:Both of the lovers were likely Edoid people. Akoko Edo even though is an Edoid territory, the indigenes also speak and sometimes bear Yoruba's names. Likewise Orogun even though it's an Urhobo clan (Edoid) also speak a variant of Igbo dialect and sometimes answer Igbo names. |
NwaEzefuNaMba:You omitted Urhobo who are also indigenes of Bayelsa State. Infact, the present Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpor is an Urhobo man from Ofoni town in Sagbama LGA of Bayelsa State. |
Captain8:You have no fact to back up your bogus claims and you are embarrassed that someone here has exposed your lies. |
Captain8:Delta North has 9 LGAs (Igbo), Delta Central has 8 LGAs (completely Urhobo), Delta South has 8 LGAs (jointly owned by Isoko, Ijaw, Itsekiri and Urhobo). Total (9+8+8=25). Break down of the 8 LGAs in Delta South: Isoko North LGA and Isoko South LGA (owned by Isoko only), Bomadi LGA and Burutu LGA (owned by Ijaw only), Patani LGA (jointly owned by Ijaw and Urhobo), Warri South LGA (jointly owned by Itsekiri and Urhobo), Warri South-West LGA (jointly owned by Itsekiri and Ijaw) and Warri North LGA (jointly owned by Itsekiri and Ijaw). In summary, the entire 8 LGAs in Delta Central are owned by only Urhobo people while Urhobos are also indigenous to Warri South LGA and Patani LGA making it a total of (8+2=10) 10 LGAs. On the other hand, Isoko has 2 LGAs (Isoko South and Isoko North) but some of their communities are also parts of Ndokwa East LGA making it a total (2+3=3). So what is your point of argument? Are there not 25 LGAs in Delta State? Is Delta North Senatorial District (Igbo) not having 9 LGAs? Is Delta Central Senatorial District (Urhobo) not having 8 LGAs? Is Delta South Senatorial District (Isoko, Ijaw, Itsekiri and Urhobo) not having 8 LGAs also? |
scholes0:Those are the abnormalities caused by Ibori and his corrupt PDP gang in Delta State in a bid to always rig out opposition parties particularly Great Ogboru. I could remember during Ibori and Uduaghan's administrations how they provided speed boats and used money to enticed ignorant people from uplands to go register in the the riverine communities of Burutu, Bomadi and Warri South-West LGAs in a bid to swell up the voters registers of those places for election rigging purposes. It was a strategic plan because PDP know elections are hardly monitored in the creeks and swamps. Can you imagine that since then votes coming from those sparsely populated rural creeks/ fishing villages of Burutu now doubles votes from the densely populated and large city of Warri? How do you explain? It's against any sane logic! |
OfoIgbo:Don't mind that guy, he's just trying to mislead people. Even Patani is not a completely Ijaw LGA because it includes several Urhobo towns and villages such as Uduophori and Odorubu. Patani LGA is shared by both Ijaw and Urhobo. That is why since the creation of Patani LGA political positions are shared between Ijaws and Urhobos such that if Ijaws produce the LG Chairman Urhobos usually come up with the LG Vice Chairman. In summary, Ijaws only have 2 homogeneous LGAs (Burutu and Bomadi) in Delta State and share 3 other LGAs (Warri South, Warri North and Patani) with Itsekiris and Urhobos. |
Captain8:Why are you deceiving yourself Mr man? In the first place Ijaws are not indigenous to Warri South LGA. That is why since the creation of that LGA, no Ijaw has been a Local Govt Chairman or Vice Chairman. Those positions only rotate between Itsekiris and Urhobos in Warri South. Secondly, Patani LGA is not a completely Ijaw LGA because it includes many indigenous Urhobo towns and villages such as Uduophori and Odorubu. That is why there is always power sharing in Patani LGA in such a way that if Ijaw produces the Local Govt Chairman Urhobo usually produce the Local Govt Vice Chairman. It seems you are not from Delta State that is why you don't know all these. |
Omoluabi1stborn:Don't mind him oh! He is just trying to mislead the reading public. Ijaws are not indigenous to Warri South LGA. Warri South is shared by Itsekiris and Urhobos. No Ijaw. Ijaws only have 2 homogeneous LGAs (Bomadi and Burutu) and share 3 others with Itsekiris and Urhobos (Warri North, Warri South and Patani LGAs). I'm from Delta State. Ijaws are not up to 700,000 in Delta State. They are a minority group in the state |
Captain8:It seems you are not from Delta State or you just deliberately want to mislead the reading public. Ijaws only own 2 homogeneous LGAs (Bomadi and Burutu) in Delta State and share the other 3 with Itsekiris and Urhobos (Warri North, Warri South and Patani LGAs). Urhobos have 8 homogeneous LGAs (Ethiope East, Ethiope West, Okpe, Sapele, Udu, Ughelli North, Ughelli South and Uvwie LGAs) owned by only them and share 2 other LGAs with Itsekiris and Ijaws (Warri South and Patani LGAs). In total, Urhobos are indigenous to 10 LGAs (8+2=10). Isoko has 2 homogeneous LGAs (Isoko North and Isoko South) but are also found in Ndokwa East LGA, thereby making it 3 LGAs for Isoko. If you should combine Urhobo LGAs (10) and Isoko LGAs (3) that will give you a grand total of 13 LGAs (10+3=13) out of the 25 LGAs of Delta State. Ijaws are just minority in Delta State. |
Omoluabi1stborn:Don't mind that guy. I'm from Delta State. Ijaw has only two homogeneous LGAs namely Bomadi and Burutu out of the total 25 LGAs which make up Delta State. However they can also be found in only three other LGAs which they share with Itsekiris and Urhobos, namely Warri North, Warri South-West and Patani LGAs. Urhobo are by far the majority in Delta State followed by Delta Igbo. Ijaws are mere minority not up to one million population. |
Ebitimi44:Ijaw majority in Delta State? What sort of stupidity is this? With how many LGAs? Mr man simply visit Delta State Government official website, after Urhobo as majority the next in line is Delta Igbo. Ijaw is a mere minority in Delta State. |
KillMNKnow:See the way you fooled yourself. Those pictures you displayed were taken during Queen Elizabeth's visit to colonial Nigeria is 1956, very close to the year Nigeria got her independent. Show us pre-colonial pictures of Hausa/Fulanis. Mind you, the Edo people have been very civilized long before your people even dreamt of forming kingdoms. As early as 1472 AD the Binis were already trading with the Portuguese and the Dutch, and even exchanging ambassadors with Lisbon. The Binis had guilds of clothes weavers, bronze makers and iron workers, producing different textile dresses, swords and farming tools for centuries long before Europeans stepped foot on the coast of present day Nigeria. So don't think Benin is your mate in civilization. We are far ahead of you. |
HeadNigga:See underrating. Chai Nairaland! . |
