Good afternoon everyone.
I got accepted to a University a week ago and I'm very excited but a bit worried about the visa application process.
I am writing IELTS this week in order to apply for the Nigerian Students Express program. However, I'm facing a LOT of issues with it. It states that i need 30k CAD in my account. I definitely haven't had that amount constantly for the past 6 months. It's possible to get that amount in order to show them, but will it still be valid if it hasn't been in the account for six months? Or should I just forget about it and use the regular route?
Speaking of the regular route, the Canadian immigration website states that it will take approximately 19 weeks to process my study permit. That is time that I do not have, because classes begin in September and I need to travel before then because of the whole quarantine thing. I know it might be a long shot, but nothing is impossible. Can anyone offer any words of encouragement or has anyone received their permit in a shorter amount of time?
I'm trying really hard not to panic and just to trust that God can do the impossible.

You should use it as an auxiliary proof of funds not the primary POF for your visa application. My reason for saying this is because most visa officers at the High Commission of Canada have some skepticism about mutual funds as they ponder that funds in this account have encumbrances and other obligations and you will not have full access to funds. As a consequence, you can include it to support your financial establishment not your primary POF.

My friend's application is 6 months. We applied for her notes last month and it arrived yesterday. She is more at rest now.

Gurus is the house pls assistance is needed.. I got NSE message to submit IELTS and a year statement of account.. though have submitted a year statement of account and a waiver letter from.school here in Nigeria and in Canada.
I wrote the IELTS but the result isn't good enough.

R 4.5
W 5.5
S 6.0
Overall band of 5.55.. can I submit this as well or I should just make use of the waiver letter?

Yes, visit is over one year self....we are all praying for improvement in processing time it use to be 16 weeks before and visit visa processing about 60 days

Good evening house, am using an agent to process my study visa, I was told to provide my NSE before 1st of April, but I don't have IELTS and the bank account CERTIFICATE and my agent insist I provide them unless I will be disqualify. I have been having issues using the web form; i am trying to upload my upfront medical info sheet.
once it gets to the point of clicking on ''NEXT'' where it takes you
to where to upload the eMedical information sheet, the thing will just hang!
Is there anyone experiencing same too? Or is there something i am not doing right?

The current update/status of your application shows that the immigration officer is actively working on finalising your spouse and kids application. I have seen a case scenario where the accompanying dependents were the first to be approved before the principal applicant. To all appearances, it reveals that same is about to take place on your application. My professional advice for you is to email IRCC office in Nairobi via email inquiring about the current status of your application and respectfully plea if they require further information/documents from you. This may trigger them to look into your file and expedite processing of your application.
