Na Folake bring me here so i'd just assume I was tagged. 1. Do you struggle with your emotions or you are a hard person? Naturally, I've always struggled with emotions. Most of it stems from being unable to understand the world from the eyes of others, and vice versa. I'm overly empathetic, and often swallow the pain of others as if it were mine. That said, I've changed a lot over the years. I'm hard these days, but not hard enough to bargain the price of stuff in the market. Currently, I'm in emotional turmoil. Long-term plutonic relationships are extremely hard to turn into intimate ones, especially for women. So, all I'm saying is Alpha male has fallen into the pit of friend-zone. Shhhhh! Be quiet. No loud am. Maybe sukkot can give me a reading 2. Describe your perfect day. Knowing I've accomplished my task for the day, those that rely on me are taken care of, and just being alone watching a psychological thriller. In addition, a chat with a loved one---preferably female. PS: I'm single and up for grabs! I tag; Bintdawood, 1Sharon, chatinent, Klass99, budaatum, vaxx, Lordreed, and Maynman |

Lukuluku69: God Law on Usury is Universal. That's God's Commandment in your Financial dealings. You can choose to OBEY or IGNORE or be SELECTIVE in its Applications. The Choice is yours and yours ALONE.
If the Muslims or Anyone wants to go by that Commandment, please let them be. That way you will only be guilty of not obeying Jehovah and not Vilifying and obstructing those that want to obey God. No sir. You cannot choose to leave that way, because, the last time i checked, Its federal republic.. Not islamic state. |

nextstep: Good point... clone would be genetically the same. Alright, so maybe his word choice wasn't the best, but I get the gist.
But still, I think the problem is that our society, influenced by Judeo-Christian ideology, imposes on men a monogamy that is not natural - and we know that.
Men are biologically predisposed to be polygamous - a man can make babies with many women in a given period, and is disposed to sharing his seed. The opposite is not true (i.e. a woman can only get pregnant once in a given period), and would be more disposed to forming a bond with a single partner that can provide for that seed. You can even see this in preference: generally men look for clues of child-bearing; women look for clues of child-rearing (status in society, ability to provide/protect).
Socio-economically, a woman has been (fairly or not), seen as a dependent to transfer from her father's house to her husband's house. It is not ok for a dependent to cheat. On the other hand, a man is seen as a independent agent, able to accommodate as may dependents as his strength allows.
I will get some flogging for this line of reasoning, but the truth is: those who control the finances get to call the shots. Women as a group are unlikely to be able to devote the same amount of time and energy to advancing in their careers as men if they want to also carry and nurse multiple young. In societies where women are choosing careers, there are fewer babies being born. Not saying that's good or bad, but I'm just pointing out that - given the same mental capacity - a woman over her lifetime would have to share her time and energy in a way most men don't. And the consequence of that is ability to control finances. Wrong! |

Samantha124: Maybe it's only Nigerian men who take it on another level and a few other African men.
We can't abolish something that's part of our culture just because a small group of people are abusing it... Women worldwide still get abused and mistreated even without the practice of the bride price.
Personally I'm against the abolishment of bride price in Africa.
And in most cases it's our fault as women because we allow these men to mistreat us. Small group of people? 😂😂😂😂 Na why i say, African women are not ready for liberation. The moment that bride price changes hand, the hubby now consider her a product he has rightfully acquired. Therefore, he has the final say. Why don't we also continue the culture of training only male kids to school.. You're a comedian Ma. My "bestie" was just gisting me about her class mate who has had to drop out of school because her hubby, who is uneducated formally but a business man insists she sits at home.. 😂 😂 😂 She say small group. Because poor people no dey twitter na.. |
Romance › Re: Why Is Cheating Considered Normal For Men? by kkins25(m): 9:52pm On Aug 01, 2023 |
AlphaHakimi: I think Christianity brought about cheating. Cheating is a term used to describe having sexual relationship outside of a defined union.
Naturally, women prefer sexual exclusivity with a man who is capable of taking care of her financially. They don't practice sexuall exclusivity with poor man. On the other hand, poor men practice sexual exclusivity while rich men don't like sexual exclusivity. It is evidently clear by this analysis that women originated the term cheating.
If I'm broke as a man, my women would prefer to sleep around with men who are more financially stable than I'm, then what gives her the right to prevent me from sleeping with more women when/if I have the means to do that?
This is nature, there is nothing like cheating. Women call it cheating because they don't want men to practice polygamy. In reality, every man wants polygamy, it is the women folk who want monogamy because they want to monopolies the resources a man has all to themselves.
Here is the analogy, A woman would want a man who is worth 100 million dollars because she knows the whole money would be spent on her and that translates to a good life. On the other hand, if a man is worth 100 million dollars and he has 4 wives, automatically, each wife may only be entitled to 25 million dollars and that is less that what each of them would get if they are the sole wife. Separate a man from his wealth and women would care less how many concubines or wives the man decides to marry.
Shalom No sir. You're not totally wrong, but it's alot more complicated than that. |
