I do not think it is a good decision to withdraw police protection from Very Important Persons (VIP) due to abuse of the process by bad actors. There are good reasons for one to be called a Very Important Person.

If an investor hires over 1000 Nigerians and notices that its movement is tracked by unscrupulous elements in areas certain areas of their enterprise, they should be protected by my Government especially since we are denied the Right to Arm ourselves with automatic riffles as a people.

I do not like this ban. Instead of banning, simply audit your process and make sure that police protection is provided only to captains of industries and no police protection should be provided to Celebrities and those without known source of income,

they should hire body guards from private sector.

Here is the process I support. I don't support oppression of women. I support going to the family first. The family then asks the girl if she likes him and wants a brief courtship before marriage. If girl agrees, then the lady and man go on a few dates. On those few dates, ranging from a few months to a year, they will both always be accompanied by a family member or more. The dates must hold in safe public spaces. They will not be let totally out of sight, so that the man does not take advantage of the woman sexually. Within that time, family dates will also enter. Let the two families go out and see if they gel on some joint family outings.

If all goes well, then marriage will be set. The observation period, decently arranged by both families, should normally not exceed a year. If both parties agree, marriage happens. No one loses.

I am a liberal at heart, I believe in a world of tolerance for all that different from me. I want progressive change in the society and dread the effects of the hard right however on this issue of transgenderism, I am really torn on this issue.

What causes transgenderism, are you guys in support of them? What about children who claim or "feel" that they are trans. Should teenage puberty blockers be allowed? Should their natural growth be distorted based on how they feel?

I saw this thread I'm posting below and I felt a lot of dread. Should anyone really pass through this? Should transgenders really truly have a highlighted role in the society worthy of emulation?? Guys help me out here.
