Politics › Re: Tunde Idiagbon: Fulani Man Or Yoruba Man ? by KnowAll(m): 5:41pm On Aug 30, 2009
For those in support of the Buhari-Idiagbon regime, I need to remind you lot that Buhari still owes the nation an apology for snatching what is not his when the master of the house was slightly indispose. For someone to take part in such treacherous act only 18 years ago, and for him to disregard the magnitude of his offence, due to the penchant of Nigerians in playing mute in times of national crisis, is not one that should be overlooked, the masses are no one's fool. His arrogance in seeking and asking Nigerians to install him into a house as the master of the house he burgled not too long ago is the final slap on every Nigerian both old and young, born and un-born, does he think the maurading uthman dan fodio blood in him has giving him a license to do and undo, I am sure he would be giving a rude awakening and reminded that we are no more in the 18th century but in the 21st century.

Dele Momodu is not Yoruba so stop talking trash.

as a shameless praise singer,

I am sure if one dig far into his fore fathers, it would not come as a susprise that his great, great garnd father could be one of the best talking drum specialist in yoruba land. He is good at praising people he must have inherited it from somewhere.

He is to Journalism what Tokunbo Afinkuyomi is to politics.
Shameless men.

Good you mention that name, from a senator to an irrelevant commisioner for tourism in lagos state. (Who am I to say that as if Iwould not jump at such a post but to go from being a senator to doing that,  I think meself get pride oh,  I rather wash plate in london )

Dele Momodu strike me like someone if lucky could end up being a senator, but would not mind being a LG Chairman or even Councillor after failing to get the ticket the second time.
Politics › Re: CBN Never Conducted Any Special Tests On Banks by KnowAll(m): 2:10pm On Aug 28, 2009
The CBN dosen’t have to do any special test because the holes in those bank’s books could be seen from the moon. If the CBN were to conduct a proper test people like mama Cecilia and Eratus might never see the four walls of a regular home again. They would have been condemned to the gulag of the Nigerian prisons system for ever.

Politics › Re: Pastor Adeboyes's Private Jet A Must Read by KnowAll(m): 12:38pm On Aug 28, 2009
I don’t normally dabble into controversial issues of men of God, that is because I have the fear of God at heart.

The problem with some of us, or how else do I put this message across, may God help me here, some of us are men of honour in our day to day lives, we are urshers in our churches, we are exemplary fathers to our children on daily basis, scolding them for the use of foul languages, we are good husbands to our wives. We are exemplary staffs to our numerous bosses and those of us that own our business are very good bosses to our staff.

But when we come on the internet, I think it is the allure of being incognito and the anonymity that makes us loose our moral fabric and judgement, some of the pronouncement and crass talk that some of our suppose soldiers of Christ come out with would have made the Pharisees and Sadducees employ some of us as top attorney for the devil. On the one hand we believe in God on the other hand it is an acceptable norm for us to come out and preach against men of God, pastor bashing has become a favourite past time, I don’t care about atheist bashing pastors, what else do you expect from atheist anyway, but those of us who claim to be born again Christains who uses the cloak of secrecy the internet guarantees us as an advantage to score a cheap shot at men of God be warned.

What some of us don’t know is, when the lord says you will be blessed a thousand fold, where do you anti-christ think the money, fortune, blessing would come from. You think God will print or build a house for you, it would only come from the unbelievers. If for example it is true that Obasanjo gave pastor Adebayo a plane, if he Obasanjo were to own up to the man of God, that the money that I use to buy you this gift was from the missing $ 16 billion electricity fund. Do any serious christain think Daddy GO will accept it. Some of us Christians must without hesitation retrace our steps and ask, beg God for forgiveness because he sees all, even the anonymity of the internet will not protect and save you on the day of judgement.

As for the non believers what else can I say more grease to your elbows, kudos for a good job your time of reckoning is coming soon.

KnowAll saw it coming, at least we have heard form an insider who has worked with 5 CBN governors,  but those Soludo loyalist and apologist would not mind fighting a battle that is as good as lost, even him (Soludo himself ) knows that it is damage limitation time so he can get his incapabable hands at the helms of affairs of Anambra State come 2011.
Politics › Re: Do You Approve Of Lamido Sanusi's Actions? by KnowAll(m): 10:36am On Aug 28, 2009
The vote is almost a dead heat at the moment, Nigeria is not a country where mere twitching of the ears of erring bankers should be allowed, a big stick must always be wielded that is the only language we understand in other to sanitise our big businesses, banking and corporate culture.

@ Jakumo
May I suggest that you schedule some vigorous sexual activity quickly, Knowall, for your writing hints at a raging undercurrent of acute anxiety brought on by repressed carnal desires.   After your initial treatment, you may post more of your disjointed thoughts on this court case, but you will require adult supervision for a while yet.

While you are recuperating a safe distance away from your computer keyboard, we can only be heartened by the reassuring knowledge that the Nudist Juju Practitioners Coalition, of the failed court action fame in Ogun State, can now regale their wives with accounts of the 15 minutes of fleeting recognition accorded them when the world's internet audience marvelled over the sheer idiocy of their naked greed, the monstrous size of their blubber-guts, and the apparent absence of any discernible Instruments in their full-frontal butt-nekkid publicity pictures taken during sacrificial rites ceremonies that were conducted at their fetish witchdoctor's jungle shrine, aimed at magically influencing the outcome of the case that they later lost resoundingly .

So  Jakumo what is your point, are you seriously saying it makes sense for a gubernatorial tribunal cases to linger on for 21/2  years, is like insisting that the Bush-Al Gore Florida election debacle should linger on for over 2 years. The implication of such a demeaning and elementary stance
which you seem to support if not overtly, then tribalistically for reasons best known to you in order to ridicule the Yoruba nation ( Harping on  about the Gbenga Daniel Juju imbroglio what has that got to do with the subject matter here ) , is that the USA will cease to be a super power, and will be butts of jokes in the whole world.

Thank God common sense was allowed to prevail and take the order of the day, surely common sense as common as it might appear is scarce in some quarters.

amosun should take heart and forget about appealing the judgement, God has purpose for everything, he should think about the future election if he is interesting again.

good luck

no blame u. U live in the UK, so u're totally out of tune with reality. Lucky u

You people are not getting my gist here, I am not saying that Daniel did not win or lose what I am saying is,  How could the country allow legal wrangling on an election conducted 2 ½ years to continue till today, surely such matters should have been tidied up and completed within 8 weeks of the swearing of the new Governor.

If it were a case of subversion to the state alas coup de tat, I am sure the case would not only be summarily executed in record time, the culprit of such dastardly act whether guilty or innocent would have being hurriedly exterminated and would have being six feet under for years, in as such that the gravity, pain and importance of such judgement would have paled into insignificance in the minds of the general populace, but to the immediate family that pain of a miscarriage of justice will linger on for ever.

We should get our judicial working, you commit a drink-driving offence on a Friday night in most modern society you are arranged by Monday morning.

One is tempted to ask why is the EFCC pursuing the debtors and the Bank executives when the executives have only just being sacked only a week ago. We might as well start doing the chasing 21/2 years from now. If the country can get it right in the prosecution of Bank executives why can’t they wrap up election tribunal cases within 8 weeks at most?

Having illegal people handling budgets in excess of well over $400 million Dollars is uncalled for in any modern society ( We might as well put Lawrence Anini as the helms man of a state ) it only justifies those calling us a failed state, a banana republic with a kangaroo court.
Politics › Re: Gbenga Daniel Won In Ogun,.,.,.,.tribunal by KnowAll(m): 2:25pm On Aug 27, 2009
What kind of country would allow an impostor to be at the helms affairs of a state controlling up to the tune of more than N40 billion in the past two and a half year. Thank God Governor Daniel won in the tribunal if the reversed where the case, Nigeria should be seen and regarded as a failed state and the laughing stock of the whole world, having already allowing 2 impostors to be at helms of affairs at Ondo and Edo state. Can the country seriously cry foul play if misappropriation and fraud was discovered later during the tenure of these impostors I doubt.

Madam did an honourable thing by turning herself in. Now she has all the time to defend herself with the best lawyers. I wish her luck

The woman did not turn herself in she was cornered in that Friday meeting, unlike quick thinking Eratus who did not fall for the CBN’s bait, by sending his deputy rather than him showing up for the meeting.

Mama thought it was another chop-chop meeting with the new Governor not knowing that the Governor came with an handcuff.
Politics › Is Sanusi Jealous of his Southern Powerful Bankers or is it Poltical ? by KnowAll(op): 12:38pm On Aug 27, 2009
Are the Politicians envious of the Bankers or is it a case that Sanusi is Jealous of his colleagues.

I look at the on-going re-orientation and disclosure exercise in our Banks with disdain even though there might be an iota of truth in the Governors initial announcement,  but to think that men of assumed sincere integrity like Eratus Akingbola, Cecilia Ibrus and the others could be deceiving the whole country all along whilst still urging Nigerians to buy shares is not only a callous thing but an unforgivable thing which in some other climes could attract the death penalty. ( the case of the Chinese business man who was sentenced to death comes to mind. His offence was producing and exporting fake drugs )

They the bank Chieftains,  how could they not know that their ship is about to sink and yet  were going about their numerous banking business as if it was the best thing created since slice bread,  giving us all a false illusion and pointless pride in our financial Institution. I once remember boasting to an English guy that our banks were solid and immuned from the current global financial meltdown.
One would have giving one’s life to the Integrity of some of these Bank executives, knowing how much they have contributed to the economy in terms social, economic growth, and in poverty alleviation exercise and employment.

Could it be that the bankers have suddenly become too big for their boots, and their Political masters where becoming a bit weary and un-comfortable with the excess power these money men possessed.

This school of thought was giving credence by the high level of debt disclosure accrued to politicians and some states in the federation, could it be in other not to pay these awesome high profile debts that the hangman in person of Sanusi was reminded of the sweeping powers and the regulatory duties of the CBN.

This argument can easily be de-bunked because the bankers and their political masters or political - clients are in it together for their own selfish needs and interest could it be one party has jettisoned in a close knit secrecy act.

Or the second school of thought that Sanusi is envious and jealous of his fellow southern bankers knowing all is not well with these institutions, he being privvy to inside information whilst at the helms of affairs at First Bank. The action of Sanusi has not only put a big, huge and unblemished dent on his predecessor’s stewardship it has also taking care of the other evil, the supposedly untouchable, Jet owing bankers which Soludo frolicked with.

I think the latter rather than former looks increasingly and possibly the only valid reasons for these unprecedented action after all the former has being in existence as long as the nation itself.

I am fed up of people who are part of the blood and resources sucking vampire in our society, Momodu a man who peddles praises and encomiums on the most dishonest, un-reliable and fraudulent members of our society as a profession, writing the above piece is not only rich coming from him it is also hypocritical, he who sucks from the vampire is also a vampire.
Politics › Re: Biafra Will Be The Biggest Mistake Ever. Beware! by KnowAll(m): 1:32pm On Aug 21, 2009
From the way people are going about this Biafra issue, it is now becoming clearer that they are not just opposing it for the common interest of Nigerian but for their hatred for a particular set of people.

I can swear that Eziachi is more patriotic to the Nigerian state than all these "one" nigeria blind patriots joined together.

I will suggest and advise that Eziachi should go and either work for Massob or take over the reins of that organisation, he will at least lift that organisation’s profile from its clownish reputation into a more focus, and serious organisation that will be accorded its due respect within the nation.

Off the lot sacked, Eratus wants to give the impression he is one step ahead of the authorities, he manage to slip out of the country before the cold hands of the law could grab him.

Impressive one would say, he also resigned his post b4 he was sacked enabling him to draw all his gratitude, pension and any other benefit, another step ahead of the authorities, kudos to him, the big question now is, If Cicilia Ibru and the others sacked on Friday manage to overturn the decision in a Court of law, our friend Eratus would have to re-apply for his old job back because he resigned as supposed to being sacked. One can see that you can’t always be a winner all the time  grin

It is amazing 46% people wants EFCC to question Mr Soludo and 51% don’t. But yet 78% says Soludo’s Stewardship as the helms man of the CBN was not a failure. Those 2 figures don’t reflect the true position of things.

Is it a case that a lot of people have not had the time to change their initial stance in the light of more revelation that Soludo was not only deeply involved in the bad debt scandal rocking the financial sector but issues of conflict of interest has also arisen as the boss of a regulatory body is seen to borrow from the institution he is supposed to regulate.
Politics › Re: John Nwodo Arrested By Sss For Inciting Army To Interfere In Politics by KnowAll(m): 11:31am On Aug 21, 2009
Top Tory ministers in the UK criticise the labour Government from time to time, they condemn the government in the harshest of language without mincing words for not providing the military with the top of the range military hardware like stronger and more versatile military trucks, bullet proof vest, boots and other hardware that can aid the soldiers in the frontline.

Nigeria is not ready for such criticism it could be mis-construed by some ambitious, self-centred soldier as a license to grab power. The Minster should have known better.

pity you. You are insulting someone online, you haven't figured out how much the person has achieved. You better learn to say yessir to me. Calling me plagiarizer and running your mouth.

Despite all this you are using spurious logic to support your arguments, and like most nigerians, using extremely supercilious language to buttress your point. I am just advising you to be less wordy and flamboyant when writing, because the purpose of writing is conveying your meaning immediately. To show you, i dont plagiarize, let me write a little ditty for you:

Mr Know all is an idiot, who lived in the house of idiots and served in the house of idiot. He worked as an idiot, drove to his job as an idiot. Infact he is an idiot. Idiot.

Ok now applaud my brilliance. I have successfully called you an idiot without using very verbose grammar. Idiot.

Report to

A simple word of advise for you Mr foul language it is evident that going on the internet and trading insults is one of your favourite past time, I will not start now nor descent to that level of childish immaturity. You almost if not de-rail the thread by your incivility and insensitivity, in a time and hour,  our dear country needs positive contribution from supposedly enlightened expat,  you  decide to show and remind them that some expats are even a bigger idiot than those running the country, knowing that it is common and established knowledge that our leaders come on to the Internet not only to gain, formulate and introduce new government initiative but to learn about how things are done in other climes.

Your antics and language is not only un-aspiring it is bad for the younger members of our community.

I think I made a mistake responding to your comment, normally I don’t respond to such postings because, one has to ask one’s self for how long do one want to continue to trade what can only be described as an uneventful, unproductive and a demeaning way of communicating. Since I am not skilled in the dark art of insulting and abusing people on the net, I can only submit to your superior prowess in it, knowing fully well our parts will not cross again.

If for any reason you answer any of my future postings as you did with your opening statement I will not only ignore it  in its totality I would also view it as something that has to be overlooked and seen as the ranting of a mad, bored and frustrated man.

I will not say he is a tribalist, u work with who u feel comfortable with, at the end of the day if you the President and your gang, group or inner caucus are working for the good of the country, then I don’t see anything wrong with that.

The constitution allows for the president to pick his team after satisfying the federal character principle in which every state in the federation is equally represented in the distribution of Ministerial post and Minster of State post.

The constitution does not however explicitly empower the President to give Finance or Petroleum Minster to the north, east or west, the constitution leaves that to the discretion of the Preside

I have decided not to think about what I have in shares and stock.
Instead, i'm buying more and more.

If you dey look for person wey go buy shares including your own, lemme know sharp sharp

Well it is too late my friend, the share certificate is somewhere in the sucker-way, the stock where 16,000 Oceanic Bank stock bought for N16.00 has be trading at N8.00 throughout this year, and now this sacking, I doubt whether this bank will be around next year.

7,000 UBA Stocks bought N35.00 under performing through out the year (below N15.00 ) will be used to wipe my ar*e next after exhausting Oceanic Paper work.

And finally my 25000 First Bank Stocks my holy grail and saviour (Handle with care ) the one that will supersede any loss incurred in the other stocks bought at N33.00 I have just giving it to my bank manager for safe keeping. My faith is on Mr Sanusi on this, at least we have something in common.

I have a feeling that by the time all this storm over the banking crisis blows over, Nigeria will be down to about 6 big banks. Even the UK that have an economy more than 20 times larger than the Nigerian economy has probably about 6 or 7 really Big Banks.

Knowing what you do now,  and looking over your current portolio with 20-20 hindsight, are you likely to be seduced again in the future by impossible sounding profit margins hawked by Nigerians ?

Since I missed out  in the Lekki land grab of the late 1990's I vowed that this was not going to pass me by.

I was privvy to the above information above, a friend bought 4 pieces of Land in lekki around 1996/ 97 for N2 million Naira, only to sell them for N20 million in less than 6 years.

To see that kind of investment as a rudimentary investment and not a mouth watering prospect to make a fast buck is to close one’s eyes, mind and instinct as a entrepreneur and a business person to what is clearly a money making machine without the added problem and hassle of paying capital gains tax to the authorities as it obtains in the west.

I may be missing the point here Knowall, but if you reside in the UK for most of the year, why on earth, pray tell, are you risking your hard earned in Nigeria, of all places.  I suspect that you must enjoy pain at a subconscious level, to have made such a horrifying choice of your own free will

If that Kamikaze investment plan arose because you got weary of singing the Taxman Blues in the UK, perhaps I need to remind you that Zurich, Geneva and Lichtenstein are all within a day's round trip from Heathrow, and so long as your money is clean and not stained, your affairs will be handled with dispatch and discretion in any of those nearby friendly havens.

For retaining a sense of humor even as the ship of your African investments sideswipes an iceberg, I have decided to waive my customary consultancy fee for this unsolicited advice.

My investment were of 2 fold.

During the OBJ years Lagos was positioning itself's as the next financial hub in Africa, stocks were growing at astronomical rate, landed property was also growing at rate not seeing in the west, money men all over the world took notice,  Since I missed out  in the Lekki land grab of the late 1990's I vowed that this was not going to pass me by.

2. Secondly it was a bet which I had with a friend, in which I insisted that with an initial investment of N1 million Naira one could be N99 Million richer within 18 months in Nigeria. (Dont forget Nigeria have a great dis-regard for rules and regulations. )

The Ibo man currently in Ibo land does not have to go out to the moderate fulani's to start change in his own local government in Ibo land. he can start right where he is.

The ibo man currently in iboland will align himself with voices of reasons and moderates in Igboland who are already in the political system, who in turn are already in contact or alighned with their Hausa / Fulani counterpart. It will be foolhardy to think a man will walk off the street and aspire to the highest office in the land without a fight or political Horse Trading.

My N2.8 million banking stock is now worth N300,000 at the last valuation exercise I carried out about 5 months ago, before  I was banned and advised by my doctor to stop such exercise because of the irregular palpitation I get each time I am engrossed in the analysis and permutations.

With the recent sackings and removals of the top dogs in our supposedly capitalised and credit crunch resistant banks,  my already depleted stocks have finally taken that dreaded upper-cut that I dreamt about some 11 months ago which I dismissed as a middle age anxiety problem.

Yesterday I finally succumb to two natures, the nature of dis-embowelling and the nature and reality of the present banking crisis. By heeding to the call of nature I decided to use some of my share certificate as an alternative to toilet roll knowing fully well it will take the return of Christ for these stocks to perform as done in the past I might however be proved wrong again.

I however kept one share certificate under lock and key, knowing that in the country I come from people take care of their own, also armed with the fact that the new CBN’s helms man was a former First Bank executive, his premature baby which is First Bank share will not be left to die an untimely death, rather it will be allowed to succour to the mother’s breast until when she is independent both in strength and in maturity.

My permutations might however be wrong again( never been good at predicting things ) but we wait to see if lady luck will change for once this time.
