^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ @ pehakalso

You and your scare crowed C-in-C should vacate that seat and let real men take over. Even OBJ who is not the President went to Maiduguri to negotiate. Your scared crow President with all the security apparatus around him no get liver to step out of Aso Rock except when he visits Bayelsa. If Mr President cannot stand the heat, he should get out of the kitchen, been the President of a country is not a 'boys scout' jamboree, can someone let Mr President know this. Mr Presidnet should also know that come 2015, it is only Bayelsa votes that will give him the Presidency, ? huh
Politics › Why Has Jonathan Not Visited Maiduguri And Damaturu???? by KnowAll(op): 2:21pm On Dec 31, 2012
I am surprised that our commander-in-chef has not visited some parts of his domain. He has not been to Borno and Yobe State from my re-collections. Barack Obama has gone to Afghanistan several times, same thing David Cameron. Why is Mr President running away from these two states. Are these states still part of Nigeria, Abi oga Jonathan dey fear for in life, na wah oh huh. Visiting a war torn or in Nigeria's case a strife turn area is to instill confidence on the many Nigerians posted to such places out of no choice of theirs. Example of people posted who cannot say NO are members of the security apparatus(Army , Navy and Air-force officers and Nigerian Police Personnel) and the other group of personnel posted are Customs and immigration officers.

The President visiting these personnel at their place of work would not only instill confidence on them but it would give the personnel a sense of fulfillment and an equal stakeholding in 'PROJECT-NIGERIA' whereby intuitively their efforts would be seen as been acknowledge at the nations top office.

But as it were, the President running scared of visiting Maiduguri and Damaturu, has shown he is not ready to be the C-in-C of the whole nation but a collection of some selected states. The President would have visited Bayelsa more than 20 times since he became Mr President, looks like GEJ is contented with being the C-in-C of Bayelsa State. Let us just thank God that Mr C-in-C of Bayelsa decided to stay behind in Abuja, when that ill fated Helipcopter took off from Bayelsa, Nigerians would have woken up the next day to read their Baylesa Junketing President has met his waterloo in a Heliocopter crash

Why compare 2nd best and 3rd best, and leave the main or best man(Buhari) out of the equation. This time Nigerians should vote for the best man, and forget all this ethnic loyalties. At least now all major tribes have tested power, it is time we put on our thinking cap and relegate sentiments to the dust-bin of history.

Not impressed with Eko at all. All na hype. Just came back from Lagos after 4 years away from it and it appears the Goverment of Fashola is already behaving like a lame duck. The BRT Buses that I saw 4 years ago, all look delapated and rundown, one can see them bellowing smoke all over the place. The toll-gate at Lekki is a fraud, only about 5 miles after the told gate has been expanded into 3 lanes on each side the rest is just a disjointed confusion of a road, patch-patch. It is a tax on the rich and the not so rich living in the Aja Axis(Aja has some poor folks living in the shanties). The roads within the many posh estates within Lekki are nothing to write home about, it is may-hem everywhere. E be like say Confusion don break bone, Looks like "EKO TI BAJE" to me huh embarassed

This time ladies and gentlemen give your votes to Buhari. The 74 Year old man would not steal your money, what does he want to do with it. Jo-Boy and his cronies has given governance their best shot, I must say thus " they are better than Yardua" whose(yardua's) regime allowed the country to be swaying rudderlessly all over the place, the treasury became the purvey of court-throats, undesirables, and fraudsaters like James Ibori who were playing to the gallery. Yes GEJ regime is better than Yar-dull, but Buhari would be a million times better than these chartalans, pretenders and bench-warmers in power.

There goes Owelle's fourth tier or community goverment, the money for that un-warranted, ill-informed, and bravadoccio's exercise should have come from divulged funds from the 3rd tier, since the chairmen would now be the master of their own destiny(just an assumption), it suffices me to conclude that the 4th tier or whatever nonmenclature it is referred to, has finally succomb to the tremours and anguish of a'still birth'. Up in belowing smoke goes one of Okorocha's developmental cornerstones. huh

Politics › Re: Bomb Blast At Wuse II Abuja (Crystal Lounge) by KnowAll(m): 10:43am On Jun 24, 2012
I heard crystal Lounge is a bee-hive night club, filled to the brim, where both foreigners and Nigerians go to enjoy themselves, it is a shame, with all the money they are making, they cannot engage or employ security personnel who would help in making sure their immediate surrondings are safe.

A friend of mine told me that the place is so open that a hobo can just jay-walk from the main road into the place without anyone accustomably asking who are you? and where are you going? or how can I help you? If its true that the security was this shallow, then the night club owners had it coming.

My Friend said that would be the last time he would ever go there, he said the security was so lax, that the place is a disater waiting to happen, that the Bali Bombings in Indonesia would be a child'd play when those idioooots BH strike. I hope the management of the Night club would take pro-active measure to forestall any eventualities after this first warning shot. cool

http://www.aljazeera.com/news/americas/2012/06/201262117731632821.html

Abubakar Shekau Nigerian's number 1 fugitive. What Nigeria should do is put a bounty on the guy's head and watch him emerge from his dinghy, he is not a spirit, a ghost nor a marmaid. He is a fuxxxxkxxg, lazy scare crow, breathing, shaaaagging and killing innocent people. So why has our Security Agencies not fish him out. He can only be in 3 places Northern Cameroon, Southern Chad, and Southern Niger, that is if he is no holed up in Kano, Maiduguri or Damatura.

The Americans with the help of their bounty fished out Osama Bin Laden, Nigerian Goverment should dangle a $1 million dollar bounty tongue tongue and you would be surprised at the number of Hausa/Fulani/Kanuri men that would come out and sing like a canary. Abubakar Shekau is the grease oiling the Boko Haram engine, bring him down and watch these group disepate away.

Mr Shekau is known to be a ruthless cold blooded killer, cutting down back stabbers in front of other apprehensive members is his stock in trade, killing all reluctant foot soldiers without mercy thereby putting and instilling the fear of the devil on anyone who waver or think of wavering.

he Borno Elders Forum on Thursday renewed calls on members of the Boko Haram to dialogue with the government and end the ongoing violent attacks.

Dr Shettima Ali-Monguno, the Chairman of the forum, made the appeal while addressing newsmen in Maiduguri.

Ali-Monguno explained that the Boko Haram crisis had resulted in large scale destruction of lives and property.

``Our people can no longer engage in any meaningful activity to sustain their lives.

``Nowadays, the people can not perform the five obligatory prayers in congregation in mosques near their homes or even attend Friday prayers in mosques.''

Ali-Monguno urged the group to consider the hardship being faced by the people due to the crisis.

``Members of the sect are our grand children, sons and brothers, we are aware of their grievances.

``We are, however, appealing to you to ponder on the recent happenings and how our people are subjected to harrowing conditions because of the crisis.''

Ali-Monguno urged them to lay down their arms and re-integrate into the society, instead of continuing with the violent campaign.

``You have the right to live your normal lives like other citizens and go on with your lawful activities as members of the society.

``You need to do that for Islam, for our people and your selves because this is your land and you have no other land.''

He also appealed to both the federal and the state governments to put in place machinery for dialogue with the group.

``The Elders Forum wishes to appeal to both the federal and state governments as well as our traditional authorities to direct immediate stoppage of shootings, arrests, raids and other forms of dehumanising practice in order to allow calm to prevail and promote the process of dialogue with the sect.

``We equally appeal to the government to release all detainees found innocent among the many members of the sect in detention.'' (NAN)

Mr. Igbinedion told us after Wednesday's sitting that he is confident of a favourable ruling on the judgment day.

"I have full confidence in the Nigerian judiciary because if I don't have, I would stop practicing," Mr. Igbinedion said.
Are u for real Mr Igbinedion, huh were u not practising when your name sake and former Governor of Edo State was instructed by the courts in Nigeria to pay a paltry N1.5 million as funds misappropiated from the state despite the fact that there was no visible development in the state for 8 years making the Oba of Benin to ban him from coming to Benin City after his tenure ended. OR are you also oblivious to your neigbouring State Governor's discharge and acquital by the same Nigerian Court. I think Mr Igbinedion your thirst and salivating for where you have not sown is befuddling, and clouding your views, obviously this case can be your one and only chance from escaping the charge and bail circus you have been accustomed to, this is one chance a poverty stricken lawyer would not want to go amiss. cool

I hate blackmail, huh what are all these bombs about, are they trying to scare GEJ, how many VIP have they manage to bomb and kill since their inglorious campaign started huh undecided. Who are the people bearing the brunt of their furtile attacks, undecided don't they think it is time they change tack, obviously it is not working. The Elders OF THE NE and the North in General should see the wisdom in changing strategy, that is, the Ciromas, the Atikus and other co-host should know by now that if these dastardly and cowardly act does not stop, they would only succeed in handing Messsers "Lameduck" Goodluck Jonathan another 4 years in Aso Rock.

We must bear in mind as an incumbent, Messers Jonathan's Party is well rehearsed in Scientific riggig, the effect which was unleashed during the last Gubernatorial elections is there for all to see huh, it would amount to hara-kiri for the PDP to be overthrown by any opposition Party, unfortunately that is the Gospel Truth!! cool

The Last Governornorship elections in October 2011 was an obvious envidence of the tried and tested rigging formula, it was a whopping 5 - 0 for PDP, that is PDP won 5 elections in succession, week after week, while the other Parties won zilch or zero, despite the fact we had some visibly weak incumbent Governors running for office, men who had practically ruined their states and had no iota of trust left in them.

These callous, drowning Men were given a new lease of life by the PDP rigging machine, men who due to their own wanton excesses regardless of whose ox they gored stole with ignomyny came back to power in a cresendo of Presidential Fiat, to the surprise of the poor electorates! cry

At the last count of collateral damages, more muslims have born the ugly scar of dis-embodied and burned torso than Northern Christains OR Southerners, so why is Boko Haram cutting their own noses to spite their own face, is it not self envident that this is an exercise and a jamboree in futility. huh

Mtchewwwww to the thousandth order

Na only REDiculous,what of BLUEiculous?
Are you saying the insight into air travel in Nigeria is not spot on. The only country in the world where people show a visible sign of releive when dis-embarking from an airplane is Nigeria. Clapping for the Captain when he/she lands the plane is very common. What does that say to the psych of our people, our people have been pannelled-beaten into submission by the twin devil of abject blatant corruption and ignorance, on a daily basis our people ferried like "nama"(meat in hausa language )into the abbatoir of uncertainity. huh
Politics › Re: Air Travel In Nigeria From The Sublime To The Rediculous by KnowAll(op): 7:26am On Jun 13, 2012
On a recent domestic flight — again involving a major carrier — the small jet hit heavy turbulence. It went on and on, the plane bouncing up and down, minutes turning into a quarter-hour and a half-hour.

The pilot’s voice came over the intercom — but not to give information about the flight. To sing. In a cracked and wheezy baritone, the (evidently) aged pilot began to intone an improvised ditty in praise of his own carrier: “Oh, I love to fly Air Nigeria! Air Nigeria is the best!”

The plane bounced up and down, and the captain sang.

Eventually the jet landed at its provincial destination. The passengers, almost all Nigerians, disembarked, impassive and silent. They appeared to be used to these ordinary experiences that edge near — uncomfortably close — to the extraordinary.
Politics › Re: Air Travel In Nigeria From The Sublime To The Rediculous by KnowAll(op): 7:25am On Jun 13, 2012
A plane for a major Nigerian carrier was approaching Lagos at the end of a recent all-night international flight. The city came into view — the warren of streets near the airport was below — and the plane seemed to be descending. Suddenly the view changed.

The plane was flying over fields and swamps. The city receded into the distance. Yet the weather was perfect. The plane was no longer, it seemed, approaching Lagos. After a few minutes, the captain’s voice came over the intercom: “Ah, distinguished ladies and gentlemen” — this is how Nigerian pilots address passengers — “I’m sorry, but I’ve missed my landing. I’m going to have to try again.”

The plane became very quiet. The flight attendants were frozen in their seats, their faces immobile. After 10 minutes, the pilot tried again, and the plane landed without incident.

the surveillance, abduction, drugging, transporting, concealing and shipment was all carried out from end-to-end by Nigerian operatives. Not a single foreign agency was involved!
The statement ABOVE is the Understament of the year, Nigerian Operatives have not manage to nip Boko Haram in the bud in 2012, despite all the modern gadgets available at their disposal, how much more in far away london in 1984. Do you even know Mossads operatives are busy looking after Jonathan clueless back for him in Abuja. Bungling Nigerian operatives could not have pulled it off on their own that I know.
