The bus or pick up is not for commercial service picking and dropping passengers.
It is for waste disposal which is not an everyday activity.
Say you are servicing a residential estate or neighborhood where you have 500 clients.
You prepare a schedule whereby you pick the waste from 40 homes in one working day and that means 12 working days every month if you have an arrangement to come once in a month.

I am not a catfish farmer but i have some reservations about the catfish business. I may be right or wrong.

The vast majority of catfish farmers in Nigeria are individuals with small backyard ponds holding few hundred fish.Their major outlet for sales is the open market.The result is too many sellers,fewer buyers. Point of frustration number one is not knowing how,who to sell to and where to sell.

A kilo of catfish costs N500.00 How many Nigerians can afford this?
A kilo of frozen fish like Shawa, Kote,croaker,Panla,Titus and Ojuyobo cost N500 and below per kilo which a family of four can utilize for 2-3 days in their pot of stew.A kilo of catfish cannot go that far,not more than a day at most.Most Nigerians are living in the poverty level and see catfish as a luxury. This is one major reason why catfish is not selling well. Frustration point 2.

There are some companies always looking for catfish to buy.They buy in very large quantities, in thousands.They buy from large scale catfish farmers and sell to markets which the small backyard farmer cannot enter with his few hundred fish. Point 3.
Many of those selling are the restaurants and Pepper soup joints who resell at higher prices.This  entertainment is one which very few Nigerians can afford.

Before you go invest in catfish farming,do a market survey and be sure that there is a market before you stock a single fingerling.
You can be creative about it to sell it.Some smoke it and sell and in this form,they are able to sel faster than selling it alive.

Register a business name for about N10k or less or more
Get an operating license from the local government
Buy an old vehicle for waste disposal eg Nissan Cabstar, Mitsubishi Canter,VW Danfo,etc.
You can get them for cheap and do some repairs to make them roadworthy.Such vehicles abound in Lagos begging for buyers.
Or Hire a vehicle if you cannot buy,but its cost effective that you have yours.
Get all the necessary vehicle papers for the vehicle
Engage a driver and one or two assistants who will be collecting the waste from residents.
Approach the residents in an estate or neighbourhood.Target elites in the environment. Tell them about the business
Staff should be properly dressed in overalls and wear smiling faces.Print fliers and business cards and receipts.Issue receipts for every payment made to you.
Rent a shop nearby to serve as an office. The residents will take you serious if you do that.
Charge the residents N300-N500 monthly per flat for a start and increase the fees after 6 months.Duplexes cost more.

Yours is to collect your fees at the end of the month  while the driver and the assistants do the nitty gritty.

A business that can be operated without electricity,which product is in demand,and can be set up with low funds is good business for anyone to do in our type of economy where many are poor and jobless and no access to capital and bank credits.
However the challenge will be too many producers due to low entry costs and perhaps a saturated soap market. What will then make the difference is one's marketing ability to sell,having a unique selling point,and ability to produce a good quality product.
From what i have learnt on this thread, a soap must be safe for the users,dangerous chemicals should be avoided in the production

Even public schools are converting to Marker Board.
The schools still using chalk are very few and may be the ones in the rural areas.
A misled neighbour who invested in the chalk machine spent N150k and ended up selling it off for N30k in frustration.
She produced what was not in demand.
Look for something in demand such as candle.Certainly not chalk.
You can get a candle machine that can produce 100 candles in each cycle(45minutes) for about N50k-N70k in Lagos.

Pay the staff well to eliminate employee turnover.One problem some launderers have is that their pressers are always changing jobs looking for greener pastures.Pay your presser well. when a presser leaves without notice,it is a problem meeting deadlines already set. One launderer had to deploy his wife and kids plus himself, to iron clients clothing overnight when the presser man left the business without notice.

Shows that the FGN and the Police Force are not  security conscious.
They have failed to derive and learn any lessons from the UN House Bomb Blast.
There were security lapses which made it easy for the Boko Haram suicide bombers to penetrate the UN House in Abuja,Nigeria.

Imagine the Police arresting a terrorist who is a mass murderer, took him on a trip and coming back to say that the suspect  'escaped' when they were ''ambushed'' by the suspect's gang! A rooster and bull story! Yet the same Police deploys APCs.

Now the question is,'what is Boko Haram's next target and what is the nation's security and intelligence outfuts doing to intercept or forestall another occurence? NLC may not be effective in negotiating on behalf of the Nigerian people but it is the only effective forum that can mobilise Nigerians to conduct a protest.
In this wise,the NLC played a good role.
The original mandate from Nigerians to the NLC was an unconditional reversal to N65.00
The reduction in petrol price from N141 to N97 is no cheering news. The fact remains that the FGN has successfully removed fuel subsidy and that prices in the economy will move up as a result. The NLC has not won anything in this battle,rather the FGN has won and has beaten the NLC hands down.
It remains to be seen how the FGN will bring down the cost of governance and tackle the massive corruption in the oil industry and elsewhere which the NLC is claiming as their winning points in the struggle.
