In the Bible,God warns against it in very clear terms both in the Old and New Testaments.
King Solomon married wives from different nations outside Israel especially from idol worshipping nations and the Bible records that his wives turned away his heart from his God. He started well with God but ended his reign on a bad note.His marriages to women from other religions(idol religions) were a major cause of his fall.
I know for certain that it is a spiritual accident or spiritual disaster for a Christian,Truly Born Again Child of God,who worships the Lord in Spirit and in Truth to get married to a member of the Catholic Church or Jehovah Witnesses.Such a marriage which is clearly contrary to 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 will sooner or later lead to spiritual collapse in the life of the Born Again Partner.
The Born Again partner believes in the existence of a Heaven and Hell,the Resurrection,the Trinity,Blood of Jesus,the Deity of Christ and many other Pillars of the True Christian faith.The Jehovah Witnesses do not believe that a Heaven or hell exists or in the Trinity,the Resurrection,the Blood of Jesus etc.The Catholics have many distorted views of these tenets of the Christian faith.
In Marriage,there has to be a spiritual intimacy i.e spiritual bonding.Wrong bonding in marriage can adversely determine one's eternal destination.
If you are a true Christian,washed in the Blood of Jesus,heaven conscious,you dare not marry from another religion outside the Christian faith.Even within the Christian faith,you dare not marry from some so called Christian sects whose doctrines are at variance with the doctrines of the Bible,such as Catholic,Jehovah Witnesses,Seventh Day Adventists.
The nominal christians may do so, but the true christian will definitely not do so.
The truth is bitter but knowing the truth sets us free.I know that my response will draw fire from many Christians but Christianity is a personal race and we shall give individual accounts before Christ.The Bible,the Word of God will be used to judge us all.

I want to hear that one of the wars on the continent will end in 30 days
I want to hear that Nigeria will become self sufficient in food production by 2015.

That is no news,no prediction.
Why is it always a prophecy of doom?
What is strange in the death of an African Leader within 60 days?

Have people not been dying?

Why dont we hear good cheering predictions about Africa?
Why dont we hear a prophesy that Africa will land a spacecraft on the moon 5 years from now?

Yes July 4,1996
I had just returned from Bible study at 8:15pm and parked my car in the compound.i didnt know that 4 young boys had entered the compound as i was parking the car.I was single then and my one bed room flat was a boys quarter apartment at the back.I went up the stairs and when i got to the top of the stairs, i heard footsteps behind me.I was already opening the front door when i heard the footsteps.I asked the boy coming up whom he came to see.He did not reply until he finished the climb.Then he announced his identity 'We are armed robbers'.

For a few seconds,my mind went blank. when i came to consciousness, i fled into the sitting room and tried to lock the door from behind.Unfortunately,in that panic,i left the keys in the lock in the front.I abandoned the front door and fled in the direction of the bedroom.it was then that i realised that the bunch of keys was in the lock of the front door.Then three boys entered and came up to meet me in the front of my bedroom. they said to me ''Do you think that you can escape?
The 4th boy was at the foot of the stairs watching.

They opened the bedroom door and i was pushed in.I was asked to lie down and i did.I saw two pistols on them.the boys were teenagers and i was at least 12 years older than any of them.I obeyed them and lay flat to save my life oh!They ordered me to give to them 'their money',that they came to collect 'their money'.I had only N420.00 and it was in the car.They started searching. within 30 minutes they did a clinical and professional search,turned the whole place upside down.If i had any money hidden anywhere in the apartment,they would have seen it.

A neighbour was having a naming ceremony in the vicinity and the loudspeakers were at their loudest.if they had fired,nobody would have heard.They left eventually,taking away with them my video cassette recorder as the only benefit of the raid.They locked me in and took the keys away.It was a horrible experience but i was not hurt by the grace of the Almighty God.i remember that for about 15 minutes after their departure,i was still lying on the floor in fear.For a week afterwards, i could not sleep.

Since then,i watch my back wherever i go.

All tithes must be paid immediately as commanded in Malachi 3 and Leviticus 27:30
Tithing is a covenant obligation and it is mandatory for true worshippers too.
Under no account are tithes to be converted to other uses.
For example,you cannot use your tithes to pay hospital bills even if your son is at the point of death and the tithe is all that you have on you.it is also forbidden to use tithes for other church related expenses for e.g you cannot use the tithes on you to conduct repairs in the church or give as an offering or gift to a Man of God.You cannot even use the tithes on you to help a brother in need.First things first,pay your tithes to God and the same God will make a way to solve the other pressing challenges confronting you.The Just shall live by faith.Tithes are seperated unto God.Tithe is different from offerings or gifts.
To fail to pay in full and promptly or to convert it to other purposes is outright disobedience and a lack of faith in God.Shows that you are leaning on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5)To obey is better than sacrifice(1 Samuel 15:22).it is better to suffer for righteousness(eg paying tithes when not convenient and going through the inconveniences of doing so) than to be punished by God for the unrighteousness of failure to pay tithes in full and promptly.If you suffer for righteousness,the pain will be temporal because the God whom you honored will make the pain light.If you disobey and suffer for unrighteousness,who can deliver you out of His hand?
Pay your own tithes faithfully.God will honor His covenant with you and reward you for your obedience.It is not your business how the church expends it.They will give account of how every penny was spent.God is not mocked.He is a consuming fire (Hebrews 12:29)

The business idea for consideration is a weekend ironing service.
Look for a community where there is an erratic supply of power from the national grid,populated by elites and low level income class who need to iron their clothes but may not be able to afford the services of dry cleaners or generating sets that can power pressing irons. Set up an ironing service as follows:
Rent a big store in the community that can accomodate a minimum of 10 pressing tables.
Allocate a pressing iron per table.install an aircon or ceiling fans in the centre.
Install a suitable diesel generating set that can power the 10 pressing irons simultaneously along with the aircon or ceiling fans
Do aggressive marketing in the community and environs.
Customers can come to the ironing centre to iron their clothes by themselves using the ironing facilities and paying N500.00 per hour
The 10 irons will be controlled from a central location in the store where each can be switched on or off as the case may be.
Set the working hours for Saturdays 12 noon to 7pm and Sundays 2pm to 7pm.
Income per hour if all the irons are engaged simultaneously is N5000.00 per hour on Saturdays i.e N35,000.00 and N25,000.00 on Sundays.
It makes more economic sense where a client washes his clothes at home and irons them in the ironing centre.Ironing 15 clothes within the hour for N500.00 is cheaper than paying a drycleaner to iron them for N3000.00.
The diesel generator(10kva) consumes about one litre to one&half litre per hour @N160.00 per litre,therefore the fuel bill is about N2500 per weekend.
No unnecessary staff overheads as the clients do the ironing themselves.Two staffers(a clerk and the manager)are OK to run the ironing centre.

Why do we over flog this issue of the types of lucrative businesses that can be done with a specific amount of money?

There are no magic biz ideas anywhere!
All businesses are lucrative. In any business, you’ll find people who have excelled in it and also many failures in the same line of business.
Business is about providing solutions. It is about organizing resources (men, money and materials) to provide a solution to a need or problem in the community.
To make money, look for a problem or a need, get the solution and create a business to provide that solution. That is all.
Either online or offline business, find problems to solve and you will make money. People pay for solutions.
For example:
Problem: People need light in many parts of Nigeria due to poor supply from the national grid.
Solution: Market alternatives such as solar products & candles. These products sell very well in different environments to different cadres of people.

Problem: Many are too busy to clean their homes. House helps are difficult to come by.
Solution: Set up a House cleaning business and provide the services they need or set up a recruitment agency to supply house helps to those who need them.

Problem: There is a growing need for computer skills & online business training
Solution: Set up a computer/tutorial school and teach people computer literacy and online biz skills.

Problem: Waste disposal is a huge problem because the state or/and local governments are failing in this area.
Solution: Set up a neighborhood waste disposal outfit.

Problem: Many people need biz plans & don’t know how to write them.
Solution: Set up biz to write biz plans for budding entrepreneurs

Problem : Authors need proofreaders to edit & proofread their works
Solution: Set up a proofreading business with a laptop and internet connection as your office.

Problem: The Fed. Govt. intends to place a ban on fertilizer importation.
Solution: Produce animal manure as an alternative to fertilizer and sell to farmers.Poultry manure is the richest form of animal manure and an effective replacement to fertilizer.Many poultry farmers have a problem disposing their farm waste. They’d be glad to give you for free. Collect the poultry waste, dry it, bag it and sell to crop farmers @ N100-N150 per bag

To make money: Think, scan the environment. Find a problem, look for a solution, create a biz to provide the solution, you make money.

One of the girls who died is the zonal choir cordinator of a Redeemed Christian Church in Lagos and well known to my family.

A well is an outdated source of water supply.
Why can not the authorities sink a borehole for the students?
How much does it cost to sink a borehole that the university could not do it for so many years? N300k at most!
The well shown in the picture does not look like a normal well.
It is too wide for a well.A well should have a lid.
The school authorities should be sued for their negligence.

How many Nigerian drivers both private and commercial have ever taken a driving test for a driving licence,passed or failed? None,am sure.
Is it not that we sit down in our homes and offices and a tout brings the valid driving licence to us?
How many Nigerian drivers learnt driving via a registered driving school? Maybe 0.01% or less.
Even those who attended a driving school did not go for driving test.
90% of Nigerian drivers of all categories have never seen the Driving Code.Another 8% who have it or have set eyes on it cannot interpret the road signs.We do not even know where to get it from when interested.
I learnt that in a place like Britain, you must go to a driving school for about a year. Then go for driving test in about four to six stages and must pass all the stages over a period of 1-2 years. Then you are given a provisional driving licence for 2 years on condition that you drive with a fully licenced driver sitting by your side.After that, you get a full driving licence which can easily be withdrawn if you commit certain types of road traffic offences.
Here in Nigeria, many who do not know how to drive a car have valid driving licences which is used as identification to receive money in the banks.
Yet the Police and the V.I.O are interested in arresting drivers who have no driving licences.
