Jesus Christ literally declares Himself God in Matthew 25 vs 31 - 46 where He declares that He is the judge and King over all the souls whom He will raise back to life when He returns. His God-hood over those in the Kingdom of God is not revealed only in the Gospel of John but in all of the Gospels.
