We will wait till then. That will definitely not happen. He doesnt have two heads and he doesnt even dare do that. Leave the constitution as it is and make it work better. not amending to serve your own ends. |
Oh i see, because you guys did what for him exactly? Did you vote for him or did you by any chance help him in any way? he's an american president, pure and simple and OWES YOU NOTHING. I see Cap28 is still on this boring campaign. keep it up. |
Seems like its very well thought out. Am guessing there's a lot more than meets the eye. God knows what pain the guy has gone through. Same for the wife too. at least not a divorce yet. There's still hope. |
Can you imagine?, Now where's that script kiddie Madhacker? You are needed here instead of hacking nigerian sites. Time for a reprisal, ****Calms down**** ****Takes a chill pill*** They cant even protect themselves yet they draft policies affecting millions. There should a standard QA procedure for web design and other IT jobs done for ANY government parastatal. Sort of a Green Book detailing IT regulations/protocols by the THOUSAND. Just poor . |
Yes you can and still succeed. But I suggest you get the second job ready WHILE still working at the first one. Move steadily. Property development is not a bad idea. Politics (in nigeria) is an option. Look for a field where your obvious maturity gives you unfair advantage. |
All you had to do was ask. Problem: We might have too many people coming in. Why? Bragging rights: If they get to whip Nigeria's top webmaster, they'll probably die of pure happiness. So One Hackathon coming right up. Will start the noise on some other thread or better still: You do the honors. |
Spammer deleted. **Mouth cleaning in progress** |
Seun, Can we ever drag you, Tim and Prosper down to a hackathon. We loot the other teams for some super graphic designers (who would be awed by the chance to be in your team). I know thats cheating so I'll come along to make it even for the other teams. (deep irony) Common language: Python. *****Daydreaming****** You'll probably not want to do that (Even under a code-name, blinders and a hat?) |
fawazbruce:Hope you are trying to be funny. Because that incident was not handled by Nigerians at all, it was outsourced to Mossad and they failed. Get your facts right. Becoming a SEAL requires extremes of training that a normal unpatriotic person would not be willing to go through. They are an all-volunteer fighting unit. Which nigerian will volunteer to fight for a corrupt government? |
check here for his scorecard. Such a Bright chap: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_War_II_casualties Point to note: Nigerian Population: 160 million(current) Ghanaian Population: 15+ million (current) World war II casualties: 67 million.(1942) (would have been higher but the Afrika Korps never got to West Africa). |
Do I think every nigerian can have the opportunity to own a phone or make a phone call to their son in lagos without going to the local NITEL branch to do so? , Yes Do I think that a typical nigerian will ever get to receive music awards on a continental scale , Yes Do I think a nigerian soccer team can ever get to the final of an international soccer competition? , Yes Yes for this and more. To answer your question: Can a Nigerian get to the top without bribing people? definitely. IT wont be easy but its definitely possible. |
liquid7:international? no. Domestic? yes. |
interesting post there ziccoit |
ezeagu:Dude!!! very low. I stay outside lagos. While they are there in some numbers, they are a tiny drop compared to the multitude. In school back then, you would have 3 or maybe 4 Igboid (Its hard for yorubas to distinguish pple from the east so we call all of you ibo) in a class of 49 students. very very few. |
its become victim of its own popularity. You guys are too many and you are drawing down the server. Methinks some old threads need to be closed and cached. If he's hosting it himself, he can install squid to proxy the old pages. e.g dead threads from 2005 that still get visits from the search engines. Take a load off the nginx server at the back. |
@Pain, Seen but maybe you should take down the screenshot. its not so nice to totally expose the guy like that. We have already tackled him though lets not go as far as bringing his facebook profile here too. @Pain again, YOu are the man. |
methinks it was a deliberate attempt to pick nigerians that are MLTF (Most likely to f_u_c_k) on BBA. |
In specific terms, what will be achieved by the MOU? **yawns and walks out** |
Definitely tribalists. Voted Against PDP thugs (also Yorubas) at state level/ assembly levels and turned around to vote in two people without even a drop of Yoruba Blood in their veins. Definitely tribalistic. WHat you refuse to realise is that we voted for better service at state level and for longterm unity at presidential level. Ribadu: Never proved himself in any elective post in this world but wants to start at presidential level. Utomi: Respected technocrat who has also never proved himself in any elective post. Starting at presidential level. Buhari: Arrogantly refused to even canvass the southwest yet he expected a miracle. Most likely to inflame religious tension and hence most likely to break the union. (That would spoil business for us) Jonathan: Called us rascals. Most likely very corrupt. Shifty and weak but backed by a deeply corrupt but highly practiced/efficient machine which wants the same thing that most yorubas currently need @ the moment (Stability). of course we chose HIM. The SW made the choice most likely to maintain the union. That is what we have been doing for the past 40 years. making the most patriotic choices necessary to ensure you hotheads dont kill off each other and destroy the union. |
All noise of racial superiority disappears at the first sound of the gun. Being cultured and having innate sense of decorum is mistaken by the other (largely illiterate) people as a sign of weakness. Please note that Yorubas prefer to solve problems in the most legal or pseudo-legal manner before going all out. Pulling out a matchete every time someone insults you is not what you expect in this modern age. Learn this. Yes We Yorubas do blow with the wind. Why? Because thats the way to maintain power over the dumb ones like you. When power was dependent on cultural identity, our art defined you people. When a strong cavalry was needed to keep you guys in line, our Esos rode thousands of miles to defeat all manner of people. Now that the weapons of the mind are all thats needed, our young flood the schools and gain the tools that will serve them well. We sail with the wind and gain more power. Basic physics people. Nigeria's improving and innovative companies are changing the landscape. Who will be the skilled men and women to pilot this and reap the benefits? which region has the huge intellectual critical mass and is most receptive to change? All the major changes experienced in this country are tested in which region before deployment to the wider country? Which region has the tolerance levels and the mental sophistication that an immigrant investor would appreciate enough to invest? Which region has the most urban living conditions in sub-saharan africa? If you would expect a mega city, in which region will you be most likely to find it? Only One. HATE ALL YOU WANT, we are just too classy for you. Assess all the tribalism posts on NL. You guys come up with all manner of spurious and shaky titles or comments to inflame but YORUBAS USUALLY ANSWER YOU FROM A PERCH OF RELATIVE SUPERIORITY AND WITH MORE CALM AND MATURITY. probably its because we subconsciously pity the fact that you are not just up to it and we would rather not join in kicking a dead horse. A man's life is hard enough selling fake items from sun-up to sun-down without having to come online to be crushed. |
He's simply trying to lay vulture eggs for Ajimobi to hatch. Of course it will be reversed but with much acrimony and of course its targeted at ensuring ACN lose some supporters based on the way they end up handling it. |
I have been pondering this for a while. Why will most people use aliases and others use their personal names? 1. They are new to the web OR 2. They are full-time narcissists. A prime example? Uyi Iredia:Dude,You have to contribute to the world in some sensible manner before we can start quoting you. clown. You even sign your name. Interesting. NOW THAT I GOT THAT OUT OF MY SYSTEM. Man wakes up and kills 3000 people just to scratch a personal itch. Killed 3000 fathers and mothers to make a point. And sponsored/administered other projects to kill countless more. Bali, Morocco, Egypt, Iraq etc yet you are irritated that we jubilate over the death of such a man. Sheesh. queensmith:Since you are the only smart human in a world filled with fools why not end the misery by jumping off a stool with a taut kevlar noose around your neck hooked to the tallest structure you can find.
I Heard P-Diddy was one of the members of Seal Team 6 That Sent Osama to Al-Jannah Pictures Have Been Released. Here it is ![]()

clown |
Somewhere on this thread, there was a comment stating that markets will collapse if "they" leave lagos, well, commonsense tells you that your place will be snapped up so fast your heads would spin. In fact it would be a chance for us to sanitise the place once and for all. As for starving us of federal funds, i actually hope they do since it always seems to produce the opposite effect in the southwest. Do that and expect to see more finished projects. Besides since the few surviving multinationals and major manufacturing companies largely reside in lagos, expect your commodities to get more expensive if that happens cos we'll pass the tax to all y'all Tinubu style. Want to create a new port!!! nice. at least that way we can better utilise this one. Please Important note: Try redirecting your okrika to the new port, we are tired of impounding fake drugs and Zimbabwean hair(sorry its Brazilian). Go sift your rubbish at a safe distance. DEEP BREATH: Now that I have participated in the tribal rivalry on behalf of the brethren,a few points: Stop seeing everything through tribal eyes. As yorubas would say "Oju Orun T'eye fo lai farakanra". The Sky is big enough for birds to fly without touching each other. Your success does not mean we suffer, it actually helps us too (Cause you mofos finally go home among other fringe benefits). Your happiness is also our happiness. Want to turn Onitsha into something advanced and better than the sorry excuse for a s.hit.can it is, be our guest. we'll appreciate it. But recognise that its independent of our progress and that it doesnt mean you should stop it out of pure envy. |
attend a computer school nearby and learn web design from them. find someone who makes money from web design and follow him/her around. go to guys that do commercial photography and master photoshop from them. they can train you cheaper. build a simple site as home page for yourself. identify one person in your neighbourhood who needs a website and do it for them for free and keep improving it until they are satisfied. |
otokx:more media attention might give more power to the movement trying to scrap his job. |
The people of britain have been agitating against the british monarchy for long, how many times do you get to air them or is the government suppressing them ?
They are not serious about it,,otherwise their MPs would have moved a motion to stop it. Its only a militant minority thats making noise. besides the monarchy is not in power, they only collect subventions from the government. Chavez is in power and killing people. |
@Musiwa I am yoruba but You ARE A STUPID FOOL. YOU SHOULD BE BANNED. What has that dead corpse to do with this discussion? Oponu iya. To ba nishe o de lo wa ise se. |
It's all about forcing democracy on the Arabs. The north koreans, venezuelans, cubans and chinese have the right to choose commnism and that must be respected.
Then let the people of the republics be allowed to make that choice in some referendum not potentates/tyrants choosing for millions of people. |
AM sure they were asked to bring him back alive if possible but the guy in front wanted to take his pound of flesh and not allow the possibility that some american court might set him free on a technicality Die Towelhead!!!! (Heavy gunfire) Cave monkey !!!!! (More gunfire) haul his dead ass back to the US. Official US property. But the way his body was taken back suggests the work of international hi-tech bounty hunters. Took the body back to collect their pay. I think The navy seal stuff was just a smokescreen. |
lets pray that our governors perform well. finish. |
