I agree there was one I met Group Captain huh former NFF Chairman his son went to university in the UK close to me and also did reserve officer training.

He seemed a man of UNQUESTIONABLE INTEGRITY.
Yes Group captain John Obakpolor.....we also have Air comodore Anthony Ikhazobor but the best NFF all time president is Air comodore Emeka Omeruah who brought real branding and corporate sponsor to Nigeria football...under his tenure Nigeria qualified for her first FIFA WC ,won Afcon for second time, won Olympic gold in 1996 and also U 17 WC in 1993 .It was the same Omeruah as sports minister that Nigeria won first FIFA U 17 WC in 1985.....more reason i said some need to dig into archive before saying Pinnick is the best to happen to Nigeria football.

Unfortunately corruption pervaded every facet of life in Nigeria, it's a question of degree. It is a way of life that's been in existence before the nation was even birthed as state in 1960.

Being corrupt is almost synonymous with being Nigerian.

To change the NFF you almost have to change Nigeria.

That my friend only God can do and make possible.
Hmmm..yes only God.

Sir you need to go into archive and read about Nigeria football administrators from the 70s to date and you will appreciate individual efforts. We are here talking about Super eagles cos some started the brand and from Green to Super should tell you something.

the rot in our football had been going on since the time of the Galadimas, maigaris ogunjobi and their likes, with their fire Bridget approachs, always, which had more often result to our age graded coaches, fielding overage players,

wasting scarce resources on owenbe and estacoles, including owning coaches and players, worst still, no tangible sponsor for the team, and when govt threatened to sack them for their wastefulness. they ran to FIFA to threaten back with a ban

Pinnick had his flaws, no thanks to covid, and scarc.... resource, the U-15, U-14.and U-13 tourneys, we're leave behind, he went ahead to get sponsors, even branding our football,

if he had had his way, we could had done better at Afcon and be the once celebrating World Cup ticket,

BTW it is well we muvvvvvv
Oga DO4LUV,seriously you love Pinnick Amaju....are you trying to exonerate him from our inability to perform better in afcon and our failure to qualify for WC.

He is our NFF boss for God sake and everything stop on his desk. The same system that you are trying to nail brought Amaju in and he is fully part of the system.Pls just tell me what you know Amaju for before he became NFF president?

Oga see Eto real commitment in few months as Cameroon FA boss but our NFF members were running up and down to have FIFA seats leaving Nigeria football to suffer. We all forget that success of any national team is football administration, nothing like short cut to success....yes super eagles branding and spinsors but the real national team branding started in 1994 with real private and foreign sponsors coming in check out 1994 eagles all time best jersey.

Amaju should go back to the drawing board and give us real football development not this face lift development. He can do better cos he has the exposure.

Bias! Bias! Bias!. Absolute dishonesty. That's all I see in this post. Same way you made a false statement regarding my stand on Iwobi. I replied and you couldn't say anything again.

You're coming at me like I ever doubted Segun's legendary status or abilities. I never did. I simply called him what he is and that is a fact. He's a bloody racist. Let's say the truth when we see it please. Are you people not tired of telling lies? Ahn Ahn.

Segun says a lot of terrible things about white people. Things that if a white man says about a black man, he would be called a racist. All one needs to do is listen to him consistently and watch him expose himself. Black people can be racists too.

Concerning Rohr, I don't even know what to tell you. If the little things he did before he Sierra Leone draw and C.A.R loss are not visible to you, then I have nothing else to say to you.
Oh Iwobi...honestly i can't really recollect..damn sorry if offended you.We are here to rub minds so na flex i dey and make i dey source for info here be my koko...Sir that's what i know about Odegbami and if you have contrary views i must respect your opinion.

Sir time to go to NPFL for keepers not NPFL second or third choice that Rohr introduced and Eguavoen folliwed the method abi na Alloy Agu.....enough of bringing foreign based div four or three keeper...imagine Maduka joined eagles as div four player, playing in regional league and Uzoho from segunda three just like person wey jump from primary school enter university.

Truly NPFL is damn poor but goalkeeping department still a place to get talent...let see them slugging it out with damn average Maduka and Uzoho or any foreign one discover again....that department must be throw open for the best to emerge.

He used to be one of my best journalists but he has been falling my hand of late. He acts like he knows it all and like he's speaking to primary 4 pupils. Let's not even talk about how silly he gets when women visit the studio.

How can a journalist say that Rohr did not achieve anything in his 5 year tenure? Was he expecting him to win the world cup? grin Was he expecting him to win the AFCON after Nigerian coaches failed to qualify for 2 editions?

If you tell me Rohr started messing up towards the end of his tenure, I will believe ; but to call him a failure is just pure hatred.
Godwin goofed.Rohr is never our worst coach.

Segun is a known racist. He likes to act like he's Pro Nigerian but he's as racist as they come.

Yesterday, Godwin Enakhena said Gernot Rohr is the worst coach we've ever had. These people make me sick.
Segun Odegbami is not a racist cos i remeber him.as one of those that made sure Westerhoff was employed as Nigeria coach and he worked behind the scene for Westerhoff, traveling with the team to even their Papendal camp with full coverage by giving us daily report on the team.

Sir,big Sege is a real pro Nigerian who represented the first golden generation of Super eagles 1976 to1980...Segun Odegbami made it possible for Super.eagles to play England in what was tagged WEMBLEY SHOWDOWN and it remain Nigeria best friendly till date, truly we lost but eagles showed class.

If you don't know it was Segun Odegbami that made it possible for Nigeria to win her first olympic gold medal through Chioma Ajunwa....Ajunwa thought she cannot make it due to non challant attitude of sport ministry. It was Segun Odegbami that took over her training program, employed a season coach, sponsored her trainings and competitions before Atlanta 96.He was the only one that believed in Ajunwa and told her to concentrate on a long jump.

YES Rohr is a failure but i will not say worst...Rohr spent six good years with no solid foundation for eagles but some rated him only cos he came in when we failed to qualify for afcon

Rohr qualify Nigeria for 2022 WC?Capital NO.....It was glaring he.has no idea again....yes Eguavoen failed but late Shuaib Amodu was able to qualify us for 2002 WC after Bonfrere Jo lost the direction.....so if Eguavoen could'nt do what Amodu did does'nt make Rohr a better option.

Rohr spent good six years that no coach as ever spent but what do we have zero team with no zeal.

Let Uzoho move to San Marino..I don't care...As long as he keep performing in the GWG...

It is said that your performance at club level gets you invited to the national team, but it's your performance in the national team that will keep you there....
Okoye got an unmerited call up from the German fourth division, Uzoho got his own call up after playing twice in laliga for Deportivo.....
Alloy Agu really messed up and i see him as a very lazy man.I can say it anywhere that Uzoho and Okoye did not deserve their eagles first call up but what do we do when experience Akpeyi failed to live up to expectations

....imagine calling a div 4 regional.keeper and Segunda 3 to eagles camp...well good opportunity for the young duo with Uzoho find himself as nimber one in 2018 WC and Okoye displaced him but big question who.is better between the duo based on their appearances in GWG......but here some are calling for club statistics but why not super eagles stats.

I keep on asking anyone to give me any remarkable displayed by Maduka in eagles and i will.keep shut....I do not rate Uzoho much but his performance against Ghana give me hope....I hope to see him doing the needful tomorrow.

There was a time players moved directly from the Nigerian league to top clubs in Europe.

That era has gone long time ago and is dead and buried. The era were our players largely played in the elite leagues and clubs of Europe.

Our players are mostly playing in obscure league and club's in the backwaters of European football.

If the backwater league GK is better then there is nothing wrong ,many African GK at the afcon weren’t playing at the top but trust me they are good and better than Okoye self

Make your point clear and stop this shalaye
Edward Ansah was in NPFL when.he kept for Ghana in Senegal 92 and he was far better than our own Alloy Agu in the same afcon 92...sometimes league no dey do am o regarding keeper.

Perception is not Fact neither is it rational it's mostly emotive and therefore biased.

As it stands Okoye plays in the Eredivisie with the possible of being in the EPL or maybe Championship.

On the other hand irrespective of your perception he remains in the backwaters of European football in

Cyprus. Is that because he is too good ❓
I remeber Westerhoff picking Finidi George of NPFL.over Eredivisie Tijani Babangida before Finidi moved to Ajax.Amuneke of Zamalek.over Ikpeba so having Uzoho.over Okoye is a welcome development cos Uzoho is better irrespective of where he is playing the game

Oga,just tell me any remarkable displayed in GWG by Okoye..Carl Ikeme will always be a reference point for his performance against Zambia.

Okoye till today has not shown us why he deserve to be number.one ahead of others...mind you i will rather gamble with Ojo.of NPFL.than Okoye coz i do not rate him at all, nothing special about him....my opinion.

5 games 3wins 1draw 1 lost....6 goals and 2 goals conceded, not bad but Eguavoen need to improve on his tactics.....hmmm the same Rohr that was four goals up but ordinary Sierra Leone levelled up....Rohr that lost to South Africa at home.

Nigeria vs Ghana is like England vs Scotland,so lets give little respect to our team for getting that draw.Truly on paper we have the players but historically Ghana has it over us.

I wish Super eagles the best against Ghana in Abuja.
