smartsmith0907: Agreed aina is a better left footer than idowu but thats doesn't mean idowu doesn't cross with his left foot it might be as accurate as aina's ...idowu scores with his left foot ..and also defensively idowu is better than aina. Bro,it is simple you don't rate Aina. |

Icon4s: You see, this where the problem is.
Based on Stats Iwobi is better than Kanu right?
You focus only on statistics and forget the general impact of players on the game.
Tell me which of the current wingers that can do a solo run, over running the defense and score like Victor Moses and Musa did on different occasions. Chief just leave the matter.I can say it anywhere anytime that none of our current wingers have done half of what Musa and Moses did for Super eagles. |

smartsmith0907: i want you to know every player is indispensable i.e no player is a waste different player with different styles I agree with the fact Osihmen is the most suitable CF for us he is a a complete forward and can play different styles and role but onuachu is a better target man than him he can prove useful when we are playing against a very ultra attacking and high pressing that you won't be able to play short passes then Paul can come in you just need crosses and those long ball gbam Goal can come in...so no player is a waste My man I love they way you are analysing this game just like my good friend thegoodjoe but guess what, some of us here have been watching Super eagles since 1980,infact I can tell you more of Afcon 1980 hosted by Nigeria,Libya 82,Ivory coast 84,maroc 88,meaning I have seen enough to know a good player for national team. My man Onuachu can't cut it with eagles. |

smartsmith0907: no hypes Onuachu is a target strikers thats his styles and he has been excelling in Genk with this styles he is the kind of striker harry Redknapp will Like to have don't be suprise if he starts him ahead of osihmen sef....every forwards has it own styles or playing pattern so don't rule paul all because his styles contradict our style nope he is still a very good target man. Bro just forget Onuachu I beg forget him. ...with Osimehn we are ready to go and I can say it anywhere that half fit Iheanacho is better than Onuachu. Rohr should just open his door for more CF, serious I don't mind seeing Simy Nwankwo again even Kayode Olarewaju. |

smartsmith0907: But seriously Nigeria is building a very great team we now have a lot of options in our attack moffi,Tolu, maja, osihmen, nacho,et al even on the wings we have good players we just need to come up with a philosophy/style that will suite the team... SE is giving me joy My man can Rohr bring something great from this team and that should be the question. |

I always maintained that Awaziem and even Omerou are levels ahead of him as a center back but some guys were rating him higher just because he plays for Hoffeinhen.
BTW, Balogun remains our best center back, dude is getting better as he ages ala Italian players Thanks Chris,i said it here that those German boys are average even Uduokhai is average The real deal are Torunarigha,Iorfa and Tosin |

smartsmith0907: hope you're not talking about okiki okiki has nailed his spot in LASK who are competing in the europa league he is only in the reserve team so as to make him fit and not match rusty in the coming weeks there is high probability he will be their No.1 2. okoye might be struggling in Sparta Rotterdam I mean this is first season he is the second choice goalkeeper he plays in all the pre season games and was fantabulous and as it stands now he will likely be their No.1 coz they are having GK issues and suré his coach will be happy with his performance against Algeria Sir goalkeeping is all about trust and I want to tell you Maduka am watching is not better than Alampasu, pls on what criteria. It is a pity we are having issues in our goalkeeping department and Alloy Ago has failed us in discovering talented goalkeeper that can be nurtured like what Amusa Adisa did with Vincent Enyeama,Austin Ejide and Dele Aiyenigba Rohr just believe in Maduka and having him in goalposts against Tunisia is a welcome development cos it will boost his confidence. Maduka,Tobia,Yakubu,Alampasu are average with Uzoho slightly above due to his experience. Honestly for now I will pick Uzoho and let the rest prove that they can be trusted... good luck to Maduka cos today's match will cement his place in SE as Number two. |

Opinion that you cannot air before the match Andrew baba, i have been watching this game since 1980 so I know what am talking about.. How many consistent defenders (Consistent for both club and country) have we had in our National team these past years? Even omeruo has been more consistent than balogun Bro,check my posts on Ekong before yesterday match. ....hope you see why I said (a fit) Balogun is better than any of our CBs |

smartsmith0907: I have argued with a lot of analyst about this ekong position is not safe, in our attack now the impetus behind the invitation of the strikers is Europe top 5 league I see desser and onuachu as a pretender the likes of maja, moffi and akodare are the main deal. There will be an evolution in the SE that the likes of ekong might phase out unless he moves to a team in Europe 5 league and play regularly I wonder how ekong will play when we have the likes of jordan, kelvin, tosin, udokhai playing for Hertha Berlin ,hoffenhim,Fulham,Augsburg respectively how on earth will these players be dropped for a Watford player second division My man na Super eagles performance go determined o,forget all these talks. If Ekong continue giving out good performance no wahala. As a matter of fact with our CB depth now,any sloppy performance from anyone is bye bye to the team. |

Subzero047: We didn't have the depth of squad we have now, there's no way Uduokhai, Torunarigha, Awaziem and Balogun will be playing first division football and chances will be given to Iorfa in the championship ...see I don't care if Iorfa got invited or not but fact remains Ekong is a championship player and Omeruo segunda player. If Rohr rate him which I doubt he will get his invitation.Semi got his as championship player, Etebo was a regular with SE as a stoke player,Omeruo a regular playing for middlesborough then in championship. My man it all depends on Rohr rating of a player, playing in Championship or Segunda not a bad idea if such player can measure up in GWG. |

Philosopher1979: Musa was badly coached when he was a teenager. I suspect most (not all) Nigerian coaches lack adequate knowledge of football and it shows in the talented but raw players they produce
It is not only nigerian footballers that have to go abroad but NIGERIAN COACHES HAVE TO GO TO EUROPE OR GET EXPOSED TO HAVE THEIR KNOWLEDGE UPDATED. i even think exposing Nigerian coaches will be better. One good coach can priduce 30 good players. Its something that has to be taken seriously. Honestly you are right my man on upgrading of our coaches but I disagree that Musa was badly coached by Nigeria coach?Pls if I may ask is Finidi George badly coached by Nigeria coach? Musa remain one of the best winger to come out of Nigeria with Segun Odegbami and Finidi George. |
