I could easily speculate in the negative.
Akpoguma who said he has no interest in playing for Nigeria publicly. Has done a complete U turn after Rohr " BEGGED, Convinced, impressed upon him" whatever its double standard.
In a matter of weeks, clearance completed. likely Rohr rate him highly. |

I've seen enough to conclude that he isn't up to scratch. He may have few positive patches here and there, but, he's still below average.

Maduka and Alampasu are simply not up to scratch. Oga Chris Kai,Alampasu don suffer...walahi he no good make player career stalled for sometimes |

nairalandankrah: You have a point..he saw the future of udinese in the serie B Haha my man... though moving from seria A to championship look somehow but I want to tell you he is more needed at Watford than Udinese this season cos signing five years contract is huge. ...i know you are pained for wishing the Udinese relegation but Ekong know what he is doing...he did not left Juventus,Napoli,Inter Milan,Ac Milan, Atlanta but Udinese,so nothing spoil my man. Ekong just need 90 minutes football and playing for Watford in championship is not that bad compare to what(CB) we have presently even with the coming of German boys as Una dey call dem. Mind you I don't rate Ekong. |

sheyishemba: I guess all these argument are baseless we are know who our CBs Udokhai Jordan Apkoguma Ekong But the only issue now is that ekong has foolishly brought the likes of iorfa and tosin to the picture I wonder how Rohr will be able to snub tosin and Iorfa when the duo becomes very outstanding in the league; making teams of the weeks and months There is huge probability the duo performs better than Ekong coz they've been in the league for almost all of their career the likes of iorfa has been in championship since the begining of his career I won't be suprise if ekong doesnt make the Qatar team coz we all here knows the quality of tosin if not because of Guardiola racism he should be in man city forget the likes of john stones are not better than him. My man na their performances for Super Eagles go judge o.Whether Ekong dey championship no matter o,those German boys just need to prove to us that they are better in eagles colour. |

Paul Onuachu based on his performance so far with eagles doesn't deserve a call up but Desser who I never rate got a call up,possibly based on his performance last season. Adebayor is a togolese and not Nigerian ,many Togolese do have Yoruba names ,but it’s hard to convince some people about this as they just believe anyone that have a Yoruba name is Nigerian ,you can all see the way the Adebayor is spelled I have area bro who worked then as complete sport correspondent and is name is Bayour but normally should be Bayo and a full Nigerian. |

ChrisKels: Yes, people don't like Akpoguma mainly because he made us his second choice, but, putting football ahead of sentiment, at the long run, I will choose him ahead of Ekong and Omerou. You can't overlook a starter in the Bundesliga for players in the championship and Segunda.
I hope their paper works get sorted out before January Chris baba I love Kevin Akpoguma cos I followed him and Felix passionately cos I was surprised seeing a Nigerian(Kevin)captained Germany in World Cup. Kevin is good but has been average in bundesliga.I really rate him then but as at now I don't and coming to eagles is something great. It will definitely give us options. Kevin or any FB coming should prove themselves in GWG,playing regularly in bundesliga no doubt is a plus but they are coming to displace WC, Afcon players and remember Ekong and Omeruo had good season though they need to buckle up,playing in championship or segunda is not encouraging cos it is going to be minus. Good to have Leon Balogun,Troost Ekong,Kenneth Omeruo,Semi Ajayi,Chiedozie Awaziem and possibly Kevin Akpoguma,Felix Uduokhai,Jordan Torunarigha and Tosin Adarabioyo. Walahi Rohr must win Afcon. |

TheSuperNerd: Not as fast as you all think. I heard Rohr's words on Omeruo from an exclusive source recently. Omeruo is still in the picture for now. So don't think he will be cast away soon. Omeruo was our best CB at the last Afcon and had a decent WC too. Those are Nigeria's most recent major tournament outings and he proved himself worthy so don't think Rohr will be so fast to cast away a battle-tested soldier. Football doesn't work that way.
The new guys must be the ones to outperform Omeruo in the GWG. Omeruo boast enough NT credentials. This is what competition is about. They will all fight for their places and the very best in GWG will be picked. Simple. Honestly good to have the German boys but Omeruo I know still remain Nigeria best CB in proper tournament. He had good WC outing than Ekong and good Afcon outing than Balogun. Awaziem just need to up his games to be a classic defender, very good ball playing CB but for now Balogun, Ekong,Omeruo got my nod, still watching Semi. I still repeat it the German boys would need to work to displace any of our present Super eagles defenders. Felix failed to make it in ordinary Hoffeiheim and Kevin have been average in Bundesliga, though I rate Jordan, not underrating them but they are not that spectacular that would just stroll into SE starting eleven. I can saying it anywhere that a fit Leon Balogun is better than the trio. |

Olulong: Oga mi if our defenders are clearly better than them. Gernot Rohr won't be running after them Bros,Rohr need those guys as options which is good for the team but I can tell you I rate Jordan highly but Kevin and Felix will work hard to displace our present defenders. I followed these German boys very well especially Kevin right from U20 WC as a Germany captain and Felix passionately. |
